I cannot say enough good things. I needed someone ASAP to haul away a few pieces of furniture from my 2nd floor apartment in the North End. I called them at 8:30am this morning and they had a team here by 9:30am. The were true professionals. I had about five pieces of furniture and they were in and out in five minutes with zero mess. Life savers. read more

I used MassJunk three times this year and will recommend this business without any hesitation. They arrived on time, are pleasant and extremely helpful. One of the times, I asked them to remove a couch from the basement area where the door was small. They persisted and needed to break the couch apart to get it out of the space. The prices are very reasonable and the service is superb. Thank you MassJunk- read more

They were great! I'd give them five stars but they were unfortunately two hours late and didn't contact us to let us know. We had to reach out to them but once we did they stayed in touch and took care of everything we needed quickly and professionally. read more

These gentlemen are top notch. We got a buyer for my Mother's house shortly after her passing and needed to close in a week with the house still full of 50 years of stuff. Called Mass Junk and they took charge. The team was courteous, pleasant, personable, honest, and treated our possessions as if they were their own. Will, Dave and the rest of the team: Thank you so much for making a rather difficult transition in our family as smooth as I could imagine it to be. I really can't thank you guys enough. read more

Mass Junk did an excellent job. We were moving and wanted to get rid of a lot of stuff. We moved everything out and then called Mass Junk to help get rid of the rest. They were professional, prompt, and efficient. They did a great job! Everything is now out of our old place and our new place has just the things are keeping. Thanks Mass Junk! read more

My boyfriend found himself in a real spot when, just before a big move, he realized he had a bunch of forgotten junk in his basement. He also needed a few large outdoor recreational items (like a basketball net) removed from his property in a hurry before the move. He contacted Mass Junk and they handled it all for him cheaply and professionally and on pretty short notice to boot. My boyfriend was pleased and could enjoy a more worry-free move thanks to Mass Junk. We will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommend!! read more

They showed up on time (on relatively short notice) and picked up everything in the morning. They gave a quote that seemed a bit high and when they arrived, the price was even a bit higher than that. Was mostly just happy to get a bunch of stuff removed from our basement and driveway. Happy with the service, but after talking with some other people that had similar stuff removed, they are definitely priced on the higher end. read more

We used Stephen 3 times in the last 2 months. We have been slowly remodeling (kitchen) and cleaning out (basement) a new home. All 3 times, we got a quick and friendly response and the prices were reasonable. All 3 times, the job was completed 100%. They even swept up after taking a particularly messy pile. read more

Can only join the chorus of praise for these guys. I had the world's heaviest ancient sleeper sofa that I needed to get rid of: all lead inside, or plutonium, maybe? I live on the second floor -- stairs only -- and the monstrous item didn't look like it would even fit through the doorway let alone around the hallway corners. But MassJunk dealt with it perfectly. I submitted a request on a Sunday, got an email within 2 hrs scheduling a next-day time, and they showed up within 20 minutes of the time estimate. I asked these 3 polite and cheerful folks if I could add on several additional items of junk besides the sofa, and was offered a reasonable charge for the additions which I accepted. Amazingly they did get the sofa out of here, and it is such a fine thing to know that I will never, ever see it again. read more

I live in San Francisco and my sister in Waltham needed help badly to get a refrigerator out of a house that was being sold - seemingly impossible mission. I found these guys on yelp and told her to give them a call....she did..they came...they solved the problem and were smiling too!!!!THanks guys - I know my sister was freaking out and your good work and attitude made her day!!!!She can't stop raving about the job done!! I had a great experience with Mass Junk, and I will certainly use them again in the future. They quoted a fair price and were flexible with scheduling. Everyone I dealt with, from the owner on the phone to the guys who came pick up the junk, was fantastic. They were friendly, punctual, and professional. read more

Simply awesome! Contacted MassJunk through their website over the weekend, and within what seemed like minutes I had a response and something scheduled. Wow! Brett and Jose arrived as scheduled and couldn't be more courteous. They provided a reasonable estimate on the spot and quickly got to work removing some items from my basement. I would absolutely use MassJunk again in the future and recommend their services to anyone. Thank you! read more

Guys were right on time, super respectful and efficient. Highly recommend them. No job to small or large.

Reached out yesterday and they were at my house today. Fast, reliable, and fair priced!

These guys were super cool. They handlied my difficult array of junk quickly and made it look easy! Their prices are very reasonable and were available right away. Thanks guys! read more

These guys were great! Very easy to schedule (you can book online) and responsive. They took out some old furniture and an ancient, heavy TV, and were meticulously careful carrying them down a couple of awkward staircases. I will certainly call them the next time I have big stuff to remove -- and would recommend them highly! read more

In Boston one must hire a commercial waste hauler to dispose of a carpet. I hired MassJunk to remove the following items from my basement studio: 10X10 carpet; two large items of furniture ( a tall dresser and a tall bookcase); about 20 bankers boxes filled with books and 3 cans of paint. They also rolled up two rugs that were under the carpet and put them in the basement. My apartment looks so much better now without all that clutter. Total cost $200. read more

Steve and his crew are simply awesome. Professional, fair pricing, prompt, polite, hard working, truly a joy to work with! I give them my highest recommendation and would never work with anyone else. read more

Called them up, and they were able to get right over; was quick, painless, and very reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend them!

These guys are great! I called about having an old hot water heater (still half full of water) and laundry machine hauled out of my basement. They came out the same day. When they arrived, I couldn't get the bulkhead door to open, and they cheerfully helped take care of that. There are no stairs in and out of the bulkhead, so things have to be lifted up about 8-10 ft to get them out. In addition, getting things in and out of the doorway into the bulkhead (inside the basement) is narrow and cramped. These guys removed the stuff quickly and easily. They were professional and friendly. I will most definitely call them in the future. As a bonus, they even helped screw the bulkhead door back on, which saved me the time and struggle. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen's crew as part of a move. Scheduling with them was easy, and when they came, the crew was great. More specifically, they quickly and efficiently hauled away our junk and gladly took on more junk we didn't even think they would haul. read more

There aren't too many business that EVERYONE gives 5 Stars to! But it's TRUE! Steve and his Very Handsome Crew were fast, thorough and most importantly, nice to deal with. I emailed Steve on Thursday night. I got an E-mail back the next morning...which I really appreciate because I usually can't deal with numerous phone calls while I'm at work. We settled on a time and he was at my home promptly on Saturday afternoon. Great service. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Mass Junk over any other junk removal service out there...who quoted me twice as much! read more

Bret, Billy and Gary came to my home today to remove a sleeper sofa, a sleeper love-seat and a large piece of fitness equipment. They were prompt, efficient, capable, careful, super friendly and very inexpensive. Thanks guys for a job well-done! Nothing but 5 stars for Mass Junk and it's employees! read more

Awesomeness! What a find. I wanted to be rid of some old furniture in my parents house. Once I got started, I was on a roll. In addition, we hit the back and front upstairs porches, some in the basement, old air conditioners, an organ and more. Mass Junk sent Brett, Andreas, and Gary and puff....gone. They worked their tails off, always pleasant, always accommodating, always smiling. They were fairly priced, careful, and cleaned after themselves. Can we say garage??? That's next. I recommend them without hesitation.b Thanks for great service. read more

Needed to get rid of a few last items before selling a home. Found Mass Junk on Yelp with excellent reviews. They did not disappoint. Booked a time for a pickup on line and they confirmed an hour later. Day of the pickup the crew called to say they were on the way. Gave a fair quote when they arrived and hauled the furniture, mattresses and other miscellaneous junk away. Crew was as advertised, professional, polite and fast. Would definitely recommend over 1 800 Got Junk any time. read more

I've used Mass Junk several times and I've referred them many more times always with great reviews. Now-a-days you are limited with trash removal you really need trash removal alternatives. Mass Junk does a great job that is fast and most important at a reasonable price. Highly recommend! read more

I called them to remove a garage full of light cardboard and styrofoam. I was told they would call to give an estimate, probably a "few hundred." Instead they called and came and charged $500 -- a complete rip off. read more

Very professional, friendly, and polite. Had a Saturday appointment to take 50+ years worth of junk from a 2nd floor apartment. They called to say that they would be a little late which I thought was very courteous. When they arrived I literally pointed at what I wanted gone, they gave a price, and they were done in no more than 2 hours. We filled the truck which is $900. I will be using them again- totally worth the money! They also try to donate and recycle your items before just trashing them which is nice. read more

Reasonably priced, reliable (they were even early!), quick response and better service than I anticipated. I had them clean out an old storage unit I no longer needed and I would use them again in a heartbeat! They left it sparkling clean and I didn't even have to stay and make sure they did it right. Great service which I highly recommend. read more

Mass Junk - After it was all cleared out! I didn't lift a finger. - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Melrose, Massachusetts

These guys were awesome. They showed up earlier than expected and worked incredibly quickly. I needed a box spring lowered from my balcony because it couldn't fit down the stairs, and they handled it perfectly (and agreed to lower it on a rope rather than drop it three floors to the ground, after I expressed uneasiness about the latter option). Total price felt like a lot, but considering they did all the work from start to finish, it was worth it. In short, MassJunk did a great job and accommodated my needs well. Highly recommended. read more

I just want to say these guys were great. Brett, Gary and Anthony came to my mothers house this morning to get rid of a lot of junk she had collected for many years. They were a little early which was great, they were efficient and also very nice guys. The price was reasonable and I would recommend using them for sure!!! Thanks guys read more

Mass Junk was extremely easy to reach and responded promptly with a reasonable quote after a brief conversation of what we needed done (removal of sofa and loveseat from 2nd fl apartment with not much room to work!) Scheduling was flexible and fast and the actual task itself took no more than 10 minutes! They were right on time, too! Charged $200 for the job, which after much research looking for donation places that would pick up (hoping for free) and finding that our beloved couches were not in as good a shape as we who loved them thought they were, we had no such luck, and still would have the problem of figuring out how we'd get them outside ourselves for WM curbside pick up. So, we felt it was a reasonable charge we were willing to pay for the lack of hassle, sweat, (swearing) and tears it probably would have caused. Thank you Mass Junk! Would recommend highly! read more

I called Mass Junk and within 2 hours they were able to fit us in. We paid only the quoted price which was a great value. They worked lightning fast and were extremely professional. These guys definitely deserve 5 stars. I will only ever use them from now on and would recommend them to friends. read more

Steve is a life-saver. I had a glass dining table top delivered BROKEN... TWICE. And sitting in partially opened boxes on my dining room floor. He carried away all of the boxes and glass and crap happily, did not charge too much, and he worked around my schedule. Thank you Steve. None of my guy friends had the nerve to help me with this. read more

MassJunk Gets the Job Done, and Done Well. We were left high and dry by Salvation Army when they didn't take our couch. Scheduled with them (SA) 3 weeks ago and on the day before our new couch arrived they refused to take it. (I thought they gave them to needy families, turns out they sell them.) We'll the review isn't about them, it is about the folks at MassJunk and how they politely and professionally bailed me out of what could be a mess. Talked to the owner the night before and he asked me to text him the info (cause he was driving). Told me no problem and that it would be gone the next day and he will do what he can to get the guys and the truck there before the new couch arrived. He even kept me up to date with texts the morning of the pickup. We'll I can report I am happily writing this review from my new couch and the old couch is gone. The Mass Junk guys stuck to their word and the price was more than fair. I just had a tenant move out of a rental property and I wish I had know about MassJunk back then. The company I used was horrible and expensive. Trust the Yelp reviews and use these guys. They are good and they deserve Yelper's support. read more

Fabulous team of Brett, Gary and Billy. They were prompt, courteous, and hauled away what I needed at a very reasonable price. These guys are awesome and I also spoke to Will who is the Owner and he is very pleasant and accommodating. All were very nice and had great senses of humor. Absolutely awesome experience and highly recommend them. read more

Brett, Will and Milton helped us out with some junk removal back in Feb 2018 and they were really, really wonderful. Hard working, polite, non-judgmental, and super funny as well. It was really great to have their help. We had been through a very stressful situation with a past tenant and needed to remove a LOT of items that he decided to leave behind. It was nice to have this part of the process go so smoothly. I highly recommend using their services. read more

We called Mass Junk to remove junk from our basement and storage areas. We used Mass Junk 3 times over a couple of years. The first time was for a pool demo. The other two times was for junk removal. The best thing about their service is that they do pretty much all the work, just ask you questions about what you want removed. Anything goes. The price is also extremely reasonable. I've worked with other similar contractors in the past and this company is by far the best to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Excellent Value and the staff are GREAT. Ver quick to schedule, on time and they followed instructions. very cooperative.
