Holy smokes I have found my new breakfast/lunch spot! I had a friend eat here and he loved it so I had to try! Ok so the place is small and quaint it really can't handle parties over 5 but for a couple it's perfect. The servers were on point and quick and super friendly. If you get the chance to meet Heather the owner she's a nut and will do everything she can to make sure you have a good meal! Ok on to the good stuff the food. First off the tomato gravy was legit and fantastic if your a fan of it, you will love it. The biscuits were tall and super fluffy and just tasted good. I had scrambled eggs and my friend had over easy both were cooked to perfection, the grits were good, hot and no lumps. The bacon and sausage tasted great and the portions were good as well. If you want pancakes you have to get there before 10:30 I saw several lunch plates coming out and they looked delicious as well. Great place, great service, great food read more

Didn't bother to ask her since it was so busy. I was there for breakfast since I thought they served it all day but they don't. I thought it was a bit much for almost $20. I really enjoy this restaurant. I've been three times now, always for breakfast, and I've been consistently pleased with the quality of food and most especially with the service I receive. The omlette has been my favorite dish because there's so many customization options. Their coffee is great. And I have to say it again- the service is always wonderful. I would just be cautious of following their Facebook page, though. They seem to be overly outspoken and pretty unprofessional when they are bothered by something (most recently someone very rudely stole their bathroom soap dispenser) and those posts and the subsequent comments can be really negative and hateful. That may be typical in Milton, though? I've noticed that kind of tone from several local community Facebook pages. Anyway- stick with their food and their company in person and they'll make a repeat customer out of you, for sure. read more

Both times we went for the breakfast, and both times the food was very good. The biscuits are light and flaky although a tad on the small side, the eggs were not overcooked, the grits were cooked done, not still crunchy as a lot of places do, the potatoes were very flavorful. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. The place is small, only about 12 or so tables, so it fills up pretty quickly. This place has the best breakfast that we have gotten in the Milton / Pace area. Like others, we always check Yelp when we travel. We like to patronize local places, and this certainly qualifies. Only open for 6 weeks and named for the owner, Mason's is a gem. It is a very cute small restaurant in a strip mall in Milton. As others have said, it is easy to miss, but you don't want to miss it. We were greeted immediately and invited to sit where we would like. Coffee and water soon appeared as did the menus. We both ordered omelettes, and were able to choose exactly what we wanted in them. They came with grits or home fries and your choice of toast or a biscuit. I added some Canadian bacon. One of the things that pleases me when I go to a breakfast place is to see that they have peanut butter available, and of course Mason's did, after all a day without peanut butter is like a day without sunshine. And, as typical in the South, we were offered a to-go cup for our beverages. I took her up on it and have a lowly large cup of coffee. Give this place a try. You'll be glad you did. read more

My favorite item is their new Chicken Fried Steak. Their white gravy is some of the best I've had. You will not reach the bottom of your cup of coffee before their attentive server is asking if you'd like a refill. I don't know how they get their thick cut bacon so tender yet crispy and flavorful all at the same time. It is apparent that they love their regulars and I personally saw them start somebody's meal as soon as they walked thru the door and had a cup of coffee before they even sat down.
