Today I had an issue with my doordasher (not leisure club), and leisure club did everything they could to help me and fix it. Even being a small business, they were still so kind to help, AND THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING! If you haven't eaten here definitely try it out. They have amazing brunch. That's my favorite, but I've tried their lunch- also good and all of their drinks are amazing. My favorite is their chai milkshake and their cold brew milkshake, they are life-changing. I've been ordering them for like five years. They recently brought them back and I was so so excited. They are worth every penny, they are the most delicious frozen drink drinks in town. Things like this with small businesses being so kind and helpful will always bring me back to a company like this to support and I will always market and tell people this is the kind of place that you want to support!!!!! Thank you leisure club! Today, I ordered takeout, but may I add- their location is super cute. They offer a great selection of danishes, croissants, pastries, crepes, and coffee. We had a great experience here. The pastries were fresh, flaky, and delicious. The raspberry pastry was rich and not overly sweet and the crepe topped with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and chocolate drizzle was amazing. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. There were so many pastries to choose from, and everything looked fresh and inviting. The shop was clean, cozy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. This visit was a significant improvement over a prior trip--the service was top-notch, efficient, and the staff was performing at a much higher level. Speaking of the pups, the staff was kind enough to give them free whip treats, which they happily enjoyed poolside once we got home! The only tiny hiccup was the straw; it seemed a bit too flimsy for the container's opening and didn't quite hold up. It wasn't a dealbreaker for me since I have bamboo straws at home, but it's something to keep in mind. I'm really looking forward to them launching a dedicated app soon so I can pre-order on the go. Some days it tastes exactly as it should, while other days it seems like way too much syrup was added and it's borderline undrinkable. For a signature recipe, I'd expect it to be fairly consistent regardless of who is making it, so there may be an opportunity for better training or attention to the recipes. Customer service is also hit or miss. No one has necessarily been rude, but there have been several times when the first thing said at the window is simply "Phone number?" or "What do you want?" No hello, good morning, or even a basic greeting. There's one employee in particular where this happens pretty consistently, and it makes the interaction feel unnecessarily unpleasant. We clearly like 7 Brew since we're here multiple times a week. I'd just really like to see better consistency with the drinks and a little more emphasis on basic customer service.

I drove around the block several times looking for it. Turns out, the restaurant is tucked inside a surf and skateboard shop. Once I finally figured that out, I walked in and immediately knew this wasn't going to be your average Pensacola lunch. The cafe is basically the centerpiece of the shop, surrounded by some seriously interesting vibes. I was greeted by scream-o music, which eventually segued into coffeehouse music and then some lighter indie stuff. Quite the musical journey. I half expected the playlist to ask me to pick a lane. What drew me in was the menu. Clean, interesting and exactly the kind of thing that makes you think, OK, these people might be onto something. I went with the blackened mahi tacos with rice and beans. And this is where things got a little less interesting. The food was fresh. The presentation was nice. Unfortunately, the flavor never really showed up for work. The mahi was supposed to be blackened, but I'm not convinced the blackening seasoning actually made it from the kitchen to the plate. The beans were also undercooked and under-seasoned. Nothing was bad, exactly. It just lacked the punch that the menu had promised. And that's the frustrating part. There is clearly a cool concept here, and the menu has enough personality to make you expect something memorable. The plate just didn't deliver the same energy as the room. Maybe I'm simply outside the target demographic. There seemed to be a pretty strong twenty-something surf/skate crowd, and perhaps I'm just not fluent in the culinary dialect of that demographic yet. Interesting place. Interesting concept. Interesting vibes. Friendly/helpful staff. Pretty average food.

The vegan pastries and desserts are phenomenal as well. I highly recommend the s'mores cupcake or the banana bread. They also have tasty smoothies. The pumpkin spice latte with oat milk or a vanilla iced latte is also great. The staff is very friendly and personable, making it a great place to sit and get work done. With a skate park, surfboards, shoes, clothing, and other goodies for sale, there is so much to explore. I highly recommend checking it out!
