We've been to three Masfajitas in our area. The one in Georgetown is good and the first location we checked out. They then built one in Pflugerville so we tried it. The fajitas were not very good. We then tried the one in Round Rock. So much better! The only problem is the tortillas they bring for fajitas are too small. You can barely get any ingredients in them. I don't want to have to eat multiple tortillas to enjoy my fajitas. I end up just eating the meat alone. read more

Just as we were finishing up my Wife found a bug cooked into her food. When we let the waitress know she immediately removed the plate while my Wife went to the restroom to throw up. Another lady came to our table and explained she had talked to the Manager, (obviously the Manager was too busy to come talk to us direct), and told me the bug is often found in their lettuce and they try to watch for them but sometimes they miss one. She then said our food was comped, ($4.99 for 5 tacos on Taco Tuesday), but we still had to pay for our beverages...and she offered two gift cards for free queso next time we came in. We gave her the gift cards back and assured her we would never be back. They admit to an insect problem in their produce and the incompetency of cook staff to make sure no infestation and their Manager is a coward and incompetent. We will never be back. read more

I might go back to try the drinks and Happy Hour. The workers were friendly. The crowd was low after a football game so that should have clued us in. I do have to say, the SALSA was worth the whole outing. We also tried the beef fajitas, southwest dinner, and cheese enchiladas. Everything tasted okay but I can cook okay at home too. On another note, if a restaurant has giant TVs for a game day, have tables and chairs so that customers have a better chance to see the TVs. High back booths can't angle to see tv. Also, if you don't have many customers, don't seat people where they have to look into the kitchen. I dont want to watch your waitstaff doing their thing when I wish I was seeing a game in those giant TVs over there. #justsayin' read more

As much as I didn't want to believe all of the 1 star reviews, most of them are right in their gripes. There are hidden charges that are not discussed when ordering (for example my fajita plate was $2 more expensive than if I were to order chicken). Not only does this seem predatory but it makes it difficult to trust anything this restaurant might do to steal your money. Additionally, the prices online are less expensive than they are when you get your bill. This is inexcusable. Now for the positive...our waitress was incredible and was alert and responsive. She was a sweetheart. The food was very decent. Although my beef wasn't very seasoned, the charro beans and rice made up for it. And damn, those flour tortillas are incredible! We ordered a large guac and that was the highlight. My mother got the lunch carnitas and I would definitely get that plate next time I go. Still, it is far too overpriced. A manager checked up on us because of how controversial this place must be. It's nothing incredible but I'm glad I had my first and last experience here. read more

My boyfriend and I passed this place on the way to Gringo's for our date night, but the place was packed and the line was insane, so we left and came here. GREAT choice. This place wasn't packed, and the ambiance was much cozier and inviting. The margaritas tasted good and were a good price! Around $5 for a mango marg during happy hour, which was from 4 to close on a Sunday. For dinner we ordered queso flameado, the southwest dinner, and the carne asada platter. They were all so delicious, and great portion sizes. Our waiter was also so friendly! We'll definitely be back :-) read more

Well the server dropped food on my 9 month old. They also charged extra for something that automatically came on the plate.

Yesterday, I decided to give them a try and it didn't go so well. When I first got there I thought the place looks nice and once inside I was directed to go to the bar since I was making to go order. At first the bartender was very nice and helpful. After ordering we where told that it would take 15 to 20 minutes for our order. We waited 30 minutes then went to check the progress they told us it was almost out. Went back at the 45 minute mark and was told not ready yet. Finally where tired I waiting and told him we where going to leave if we didn't get our food, and at an hour and 6 minutes we finally got our food. when it came to the food my family was terribly disappointed. The fajitas seemed to be a tad burnt and flavorless. When it came to the tortillas they aren't fresh. Over all we ordered 3 plates and two tacos and all the food had a disappointing factor. Overall the service and food weren't the best. I don't know if it's because everyone new and the place just open or if this is just the way things are. Will go again one more time in the future and update this review, but as of now I don't recommend going. read more

The salsa tastes fresh and has the perfect amount of heat. The real star of the meal was my lunch portion of beef fajitas with flour tortillas. The beef was the most tender fajita meat that I have encountered. The grilled onions had lots of flavor. I only wish there were grilled bell peppers too. I had a few last time that I ordered fajitas, but there were none this time. My daughters ordered carne guisada and chicken quesadillas. They were both delicious. Tasted fresh, very cilantro heavy which I like. I got the beef fajitas and my wife got the chicken avocado enchiladas. The chicken was dry and chewy, hard to cut. If the chicken was better the dish would have hit different. The beef fajitas tasted like a slow cooked roast beef. It was tender to the fork, but didn't taste like steak. Credit to them, it's not "steak fajitas", it's beef fajitas. The onions were terrible. Like they used the outer layer of the onion. It was strange. The charro beans were edible but I like the H‑E‑B charro beans better. Overall, I won't be back unless I want good inexpensive drinks. Probably best drink menu in BCS for Tex-Mex but we haven't made it to Gringos yet because the wait list is forever. read more

Much to my surprise I was billed an upcharge of 1.99 for a substitution. Needless to say I won't be back. Ok I don't know what the big rave is about this place- we tried it because we have a friend who loves it and goes all of the time. The service was fine and people were nice- inside isn't anything special as far as decor- feels more fast food like and just kind of feels more dirty-- the margaritas were decent but definitely could tell the alcohol content was lower than other places in town we have been. Queso wasn't great either. The fajitas were ok- nothing special and of course that's what we ordered since it's called mas fajitas- they were kind of chewy- nothing to rave about but I'm glad this local place is getting business because I'm all about supporting local!! read more
