From fresh pastries and fruit smoothies to a generous buffet featuring chef-carved meats, Eggs Benedict, breakfast favorites, and a Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake for dessert, brunch was a highlight all on its own. The matinee performance of A Wonderful Life captured everything audiences love about the classic story of George Bailey and Bedford Falls. The live musical stayed true to the heart of the film, celebrating kindness, community, and the reminder that every life has meaning. . The service throughout the afternoon was outstanding, and special recognition goes to Keegan, whose hard work, attentiveness, and professionalism truly stood out. Most of all, I enjoyed making a new memory with my family. The afternoon felt meaningful, joyful, and unhurried--exactly what a holiday outing should be, and one I would happily return for again.

Everyone enjoyed their orders along with two excellent breads; crispy crusted white and a maple nut bread that was especially tasty. The dessert was ice cream rolled in nuts with a sweet rolled wafer, and it was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. The show was a mix. At times it was fun, with upbeat songs and good jokes that landed well. At other times the humor fell flat and dialogue went low. So the rating would be a 5 for the food and venue and a 3 for the show. Will definitely be back, as it's always a good experience.

While there my son and I got popcorn, a soda, and a bottle of water. Matinee pricing isn't bad compared to bigger chain theaters. My ticket was $10 and he was $8 since he counts for child prices. The popcorn was expensive at $9 for a medium-ish size bag (even with a free refill) compared to larger buckets at other theaters and we didn't care for the flavor of the "butter". The soda was $7, which was also pricey. Unfortunately they only offer one size for both the popcorn and soda and don't give you a discount for buying both as a combo. They have other food like pizza and chicken tenders on the menu board, but no prices were listed. I know people love the leather recliners at other theaters, but the loveseats at Rosebud Cinema are preferable as far as I'm concerned. We sunk into the plush loveseat and it was far more comfortable than a hard leather recliner. Each loveseat had a decent size pillow to lean on too. It's not the most conveniently located theater based on where I live, but the decent prices and comfortable seating will probably bring me back.

The Rosebud is known for their plush love seats and is a fine dinner theatre. We had the steak, and it was delish! Perfectly done at medium rare and full of flavor. Loved the mixed vegetables and baked potato, too. The rolls and salad were average. Cocktails. Great selection of fun, themed cocktails. Look for "Al's Favorite" on the chalk board at the bar and on the top of the cocktail menu. All four drinks we had were great. Mugsy makes some good giggle juice. Service. EXCELLENT. The team is talented, and they work hard to serve you while putting on the show. They stayed in character the whole time, and the jokes were FANtastic! Finally. RELAX and ENJOY the show. I have not smiled and laughed that much since the Nate Betgatze show at Bridgestone at Christmas. Vito and his team are simply FABULOUS and FUN! This gets a MUST DO if in the Chicago area. I too, have always been interested in this concept though the results were a mixed bag. Check in was a bit of a cluster as there were two tables next to each other, but no signs and that resulted in people shuffling back and forth because there was nothing to guide us. Once we got in the right line, we were asked to come up with a name for ourselves for the evening. Wish we had known this in advance so we could have been more creative. We then were checked in and given tickets for our food choices. There was a color-coding system that almost everyone forgot as soon as they found their table and wish they would have just labeled the damn things, "pork," or "chicken." Speaking of pork, the food overall was just okay. My apple pork was pretty good but I didn't care for the green beans. The salad was pretty good, as were the rolls. The cheesecake dessert was pretty pedestrian, likely Sara Lee or the like. After you were seated, the "host," Sue came in to lay the ground rules. I think much of my dissatisfaction stemmed from her and the two police office actors who were just a bit over the top for my tastes. Sue did not have the qualities of a good host, in my opinion. She was efficient and knew her stuff, but wasn't charming or gracious. I found her a bit grating, unfortunately. I am sure she's a lovely person she just didn't set the scene for me. There was just a little time to mingle to get to know each other people/tables & their stories or cover up. The actors were pretty entertaining, but not dressed as I thought they would be in dinner show. They were pretty casual & barely any props. There was also a lot of reading for clues, which turned me off. We weren't provided the wifi at the beginning & we had to download all these articles to read as detectives. I wanted it to be more interactive, entertaining, and exciting, but it just wasn't. The chicken was rubbery & the food was just ok. My vegetarian friend had the pasta, which was very delicious. The service was professional & prompt. I won't spoil the outcome, but I was not really stumped! For $77 a ticket, per person, plus $25 to park per car, I was expecting so much more.

We also ordered the fish and chips, which were also delicious. They have live entertainment as you can imagine it's polka centric. Cool dark pub interior. Service was friendly. At times, it was a bit challenging to keep up with all of the intertwining storylines and relationships, but once everything started coming together, it made for a fun and entertaining experience. Even if you're not familiar with A Little Night Music, the witty humor, romance, and tangled relationships keep the story engaging from start to finish. The cast did an incredible job balancing comedy and emotion, delivering plenty of laugh out loud moments alongside heartfelt scenes. As always, Marriott Theatre made for a wonderful night out. Parking is free, the venue is comfortable, and the staff is welcoming, friendly, and organized. If you're looking for a great date night or simply love live theater, this production is absolutely worth the trip to Lincolnshire. A special shoutout to Kesha, our Community Manager, and the incredible Marriott Theatre staff. My husband recently fractured his foot and is currently using a knee scooter. They graciously accommodated us with an aisle seat at the last minute, and the staff went above and beyond by helping transport his scooter to and from our seats. That level of kindness and customer service truly made our evening stress free, and we're so grateful for their thoughtfulness.

But this was the first production I'd seen in the round. They made good use of space and even had fly space to drop things like lights and a swing from the ceiling. If you know the show, one character is in a wheelchair and they were able to incorporate the ramps seamlessly. I believe it's an equity production and the bio of one actress appears she was brought in from nyc. So they have the talent.
