I don't know what it is about the Rockton bar area, but places like this lack basic culinary…read morescience when it comes to making a burger. FIBs across the street put a tomato next to the bun, which makes the bread soggy near the end. Here, the put the bottom bun, meat, then stack everything on top. The darkness or burntness made the bottom bun look burnt, which messes up the presentation of the burger. The bacon on the burger was buried below lettuce and other toppings. It overall wasn't a terrible burger, but seems like there could have been more thought and time put into the burger. Over Rockton Inn, the place before this, they have an electronic jukebox, which is cool! They also have a claw machine for catching your own lobster for $3. You catch it and they cook it for free! When we went on Sunday, they had a special on Wings for .35 cents a wing. They also had a make your own or waitress does it Bloody Mary station. I think that's a nice touch! I had the waffle fries with cheese here, which seemed a bit greasy, but they were definitely some of the best waffle fries I've had up in this area. I would totally recommend this place for others!

There was a Bloody Mary DIY bar and I don't know if this is a Sunday thing or not but it was a cool touch I am just not brave enough to try one yet but it's on the to do list. Anyway, I visited the old Rockton Inn often and was in love with their Parmesan fries but this one has waffle fries that made me forget all about Rockton Inn. I got the Whiskeys BBQ burger and it was delicious but big, I was unable to finish it. Halfway through my food I did notice the corner of my plate was chopped like it had been dropped a lot. Not a big deal or problem just an observation Overall it was a good experience and I will be returning

Bottom of the bacon burger. Bun looks burnt doesn't it? It's actually just the burger rubbing off on it. Bun was not burnt.

The Road Dawg Family Restaurant is my dad's regular Thursday spot, and he brings me here every time…read moreI'm in town. Located right off the interstate, it has that classic highway diner feel. The main sign on the pole has definitely seen better days, and the place as a whole feels a bit run down. As you walk in, be careful of the trip hazard at the entrance--it's a bit uneven. It's a little "divey," but don't let that be a dealbreaker. It's just an observation, a reminder not to judge a book by its cover. Note to management: Some minor fixes could give it a little more curb appeal. Stepping inside, you'll see the main dining room and an old buffet area that I assume hasn't been used since COVID. It's all a bit dated, but clean and functional. They serve breakfast all day and have a full lunch and dinner menu as well. Even though it was a relatively busy Sunday morning, we were greeted and seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our initial service. Almost before I could take a sip of my no-frills, bottomless cup of $3 coffee, our giant portions of breakfast arrived. It was an omelette kind of day for us. We placed a special order for my dad (he's got his usual), I got the Denver Omelette ($14) with jalapeños, and my stepmom ordered the Meat Eaters Omelette ($15). They opted for toast, and I got the pancakes, which were a meal in themselves. While the prices have increased significantly since my first visit, the large portions are big enough to share or take half home, which is exactly what we did. We were a little ignored and never asked if everything was as expected. We did, however, get coffee refills and eventually received the bill and some to-go boxes. Another note to management: The bell that incessantly rings every time someone comes or goes needs to go! By the time we left, I was anxious and extremely tired of the bell. I feel sorry for the employees who have to listen to that all day long! Overall, this place does a good and honest business. Aside from the bell and the slight dip in attention, we enjoyed our meal.

Such a great supper club!!! Wish I could give 4.5 stars…read more We made a reservation for NYE. They were very accommodating. They let us know right away the credit card machine was down but they'd reimburse us the ATM fee. We sat at the bar and ordered a drink for about 10 mins so they could get our table ready. Upon being seated we were greeted and told the specials. We ordered a special thinking it was an appetizer. They made the exception for us and turned it into an appetizer! And thank goodness, one of the best appetizers I've ever had. The scallops were buttery and cheesy. A combo I wouldn't have thought of. The scallops were perfect and not rubbery. We ordered steaks which come with soup AND salad AND bread AND a potato. I've seen other reviews where they get a relish tray. We did not, but maybe because it was NYE? Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. We were so full by the time our meal came. The service was top notch, the ambiance was what you'd expect for a supper club. The only thing we felt didn't hit the mark were the drinks. The wine menu is sub par and the cocktail menu is fruity beach drinks?? Otherwise everything was fabulous and I definitely recommend the NY strip steak with the cheesy potato's!! Will be eating here again.

Great food and service you have to try the 615 steak and don't forget your relish trayread more
