Outstanding food, service and atmosphere year after year... One of our long time favorites!

Such a great supper club!!! Wish I could give 4.5 stars. We made a reservation for NYE. They were very accommodating. They let us know right away the credit card machine was down but they'd reimburse us the ATM fee. We sat at the bar and ordered a drink for about 10 mins so they could get our table ready. Upon being seated we were greeted and told the specials. We ordered a special thinking it was an appetizer. They made the exception for us and turned it into an appetizer! And thank goodness, one of the best appetizers I've ever had. The scallops were buttery and cheesy. A combo I wouldn't have thought of. The scallops were perfect and not rubbery. We ordered steaks which come with soup AND salad AND bread AND a potato. I've seen other reviews where they get a relish tray. We did not, but maybe because it was NYE? Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. We were so full by the time our meal came. The service was top notch, the ambiance was what you'd expect for a supper club. The only thing we felt didn't hit the mark were the drinks. The wine menu is sub par and the cocktail menu is fruity beach drinks?? Otherwise everything was fabulous and I definitely recommend the NY strip steak with the cheesy potato's!! Will be eating here again. read more

worst experience ever! ordered special and they brought out wrong food. Said they would get out right food, didnt happen until other three people had completed meal. We are traveling so they put it in a to-go box and gave it to the other couple for leftovers. A $54 meal that I never ate! Service was TERRIBLE. read more

I tried to take my wife here on my birthday, but they were out of town and closed. When we were driving back from Cascade Mountain after a day of skiing, I thought I'd see if we could get a reservation. Fortunately, we could. It was February 2, 2024, and we snagged an early reservation. This is a steakhouse, and wow, we really liked the food. It started with a small relish tray with dip along with a nice warm bread and butter basket, then with a generous salad. I opted for the upcharge on their baked French Onion soup, which had plentiful onions in the soup, as well as plentiful cheese. Just look at the pictures! Then the main course arrived - I had opted for their 12 ounce filet mignon! It was delivered cooked as requested, medium rare, and was incredibly tender - it tasted dry aged. The baked potato came with butter and sour cream, and was quite good. My wife had their Prime Rib which was also quite tasty. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which had reasonable price and not too much upcharge. The bathrooms were quite clean and smelled good. We'll be back in the future. This is a good restaurant, good service, and very very good food. read more

All good Appetizers of escargot was delicious just enough garlic. Had the wedge salad. Very nice then I'll share lamb and lobster tail with the wife enjoyed the time. All the waiters waitresses were great the other customers fun. nice night out. read more

We were here on a Saturday in June during dinner time. Our greeter and server were very attentive. The first indication that something was amiss was the menu looked very different from last year when were here around the same time. When the rolls came out, there were the traditional dinner rolls and the cinnamon rolls covered in a cloth. When I uncovered them, 2 gnats flew out and stayed around our table for the duration of the meal. Then our salads came out and they were room temperature??? We had ordered the buffalo chicken soup with our meal and it was so salty we could not eat it. The main dishes came out- nice and warm. My husband had a 14 oz NY strip that was cooked the way he wanted it. However, it had a tremendous amount of grizzle that he had to cut away. His baked potatoe and mushrooms with onions were very good. I had the salmon which was very good. The Brussels sprouts were not cooked enough. All in all, we feel something has changed from last year to now in the quality of the food. There were too many issues for us to desire to come back. I really enjoyed this place! From the outside it really doesn't look like much but when you walk in it's definitely a fine dining establishment. Started with a bottle of wine which was excellent, they had a large selection which is always great. We also received some veggies to start with. Menu is simple, you choose your entree which could be steak, chicken or seafood and it comes with soup, salad, bread, and your choice of a side. A lot of food for a great price! I really liked that concept rather than having to order separate sides. My friend and I started with the escargot and crab cakes. Both were average, we've had better. Next up was the soup, I got the chicken and rice and it was phenomenal. It was very creamy almost similar to a clam chowder. Next course was the salad, just a basic salad, it was good and fresh. After that was the bread, they serve everything in courses. It doesn't all come at once which I enjoyed. The bread came with rolls and cinnamon rolls, both were very good. I only wish the cinnamon rolls came after the meal. Our entrees were great! I ordered lamb and lobster and both were delicious. I really enjoyed the seasoning on the lamb and the lobster tasted fresh. It was a very large portion too! Everything was cooked perfectly too. Service was slow but there was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant. The hostess actually ended up taking care of us the whole time. She even offered us a free glass of wine for the wait, which was very generous. Overall, nice place. I like the amount the food you get and the atmosphere. I only wish the food blew me away, but other than that I'd recommend stopping by. read more

I've been to 615 Club twice now and have had a wonderful experience both times! The staff is super friendly, as is the owner. He's been there both times I've visited and has chatted with me about my experience. The food and drinks are delicious! The last time I went, my table ordered Old Fashioneds with blue cheese olives and were thrilled. It was one of the best Old Fashioneds we've had. They start you off with a relish tray and bread which are both delicious. The veggies taste fresh and come with a delicious dill dip. The bread basket is full of fluffy rolls and even cinnamon rolls, yum! I ordered the filet which came with soup and salad. I upgraded to french onion soup with the cheese on top and it was delicious! The steak comes with your choice of potato, I opted for a baked potato for mine. The steak was good, but a little overcooked this time. I ordered it medium but it didn't have any pink inside. I would have liked it to be more pink on the inside, but it was still really good! The servers were super friendly and personable but it was really slow. We knew what we wanted right away but we were still there for two hours despite knowing what we wanted to eat. We didn't mind that too much because we were having a nice time. The last time I dined at 615, the service was quick so I'm guessing they were probably low staff this time. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be back again next time I'm in Beloit! read more

Service was good. Small sliver of a red onion,one olive,one small red tomato that is supposed to be a salad? Relish tray for four was lacking,even though it was complimentary. Excellent food. Our waitress was so friendly (and funny) . The Bourbon Old Fashioned went down a treat.

Overpriced for quality of food and atmosphere. Service was relatively slow, and appetizer was removed before we were finished. Leftovers were removed and boxed without being complete (part of edible steak was not included in box). Ribeye was overdone. Do not recommend au gratin potatoes. Waitress was very pleasant but perhaps over booked. French onion soup was delicious but have to upgrade for melted cheese. House Riesling was very good. read more

If you read any of these reviews, you'll see most of them the good ones are very old 3456 years ago even more older than that changed hands at least three times that I know of the local owners currently running the business don't have the quality of food or service that was there a few years ago very disappointed Very, very pricey for the food that you get had chicken that was white and looked boiled instead of grilled was mediocre wouldn't return but just be careful and look at the dates of these reviews. The newer ones are not as good as the ones in the past. read more

We were so disappointed here. 6 of us at a round table that had an off kilter foot. It wobbled and we had to hold one side down the whole time, especially while trying to cut steaks! Waters had no ice. I had to ask the waitress twice for my drink and other's non-alcoholic drinks weren't kept filled. The filet my friend ordered was over cooked and tough. She ordered it medium. My prime rib was over cooked and dry. I ordered it med-rare, more on the rare side. I told the waitress and she got me a new cut which was better. The au gratins were weird. They were a turmeric yellow color and not cheesy. No flavor. My friend ordered a 'loaded' baked potato and it came with a sprinkle of cheese. That was all. No butter, no sour cream. Not loaded. The French Onion soup was tasty but it was overloaded with croutons. Not a lot of 'soup.' The relish tray for 6 people had 4 sticks of celery, 5 carrot sticks and 5 shavings of a radish. We all felt the meat cuts were small for the price, the service was lacking, the table issue, etc...and decided we wouldn't return. So many other supper clubs within a 45 minute drive to resort to. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The best steak I've ever had! This time I got the petite filet and I tried the au gratin potatoes and wild rice - again the steak was cooked perfectly and everything had such great flavor. The menu is small and I've never had anything but their filet but I'm sure everything else they serve is also delicious - next time I'll have to try something different! Not only was the food good but the service was phenomenal. Our server was really nice and I was really impressed with the owner. We were already out the door and Gregg made sure to come and ask us how our dinner was and then told us about the remodel that they are planning on doing and invited us back. We had a nice dinner there a couple of weeks ago, appetizers, a couple round of drinks and dinner . However as we finished our last glass of wine the hostess rudely came up to our table and told us we had to leave because there was another party that wanted our table! Mind you there was an empty table right near us!! I'll never go back there after that! PS- I had read this was the same experience others had but o didn't think it was the norm until it happened to us! Beware!! read more

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. Food and service were okay but my wife ordered a Hendricks gimlet and, instead of gin, her drink was filled with grain alcohol. She got very sick. Watch out! read more

Overall my wife and I felt the food was mediocre. It was severely overpriced but you do get a lot of food. There are better options if you really want a great steak. We had a reservation scheduled first right when they opened which is what I would recommend. It's not very big inside and once it gets busier it gets louder and this makes it difficult for conversations. read more

I have eaten at the 615 a few times this year. Tonight was disappointing to say the least. Reservations were made for 6:30 and we were early. Bar provided very tasty cocktails (only positive about tonight). Something was off with the appetizer (Escargot) could not eat it. Soup tasty but felt like it was old and not fresh perhaps from can? Salads, drenched with salad dressing (drenched) very small portion, why even serve a salad like this. Entree's - My date had the walleye, overcooked. I had the pork chop special and there was nothing special about it. The port chops were dry and over cooked - nothing special about it. The service..... We felt very rushed! Server was at our table every five minutes and if she wasn't on top of us the bus person with a grumpy demeanor was on top of us asking if we were done with appetizers, soup, entree's ready for a box? It was uncomfortable. There was no pride in the service or the food. $150.00 for this very substandard meal and experience. In Beloit, Wisconsin there are many choices for a very good meal and service. There are very good restaurants downtown and in the area. Something was very off on this Wednesday evening. Stopped in on a Saturday night after a trip to New Glarus Brewery. We arrived at 5 which is when they open . We were greeted immediately and sat. For cocktails we both ordered Brandy Old Fashioned sweet They were good. The room was nice it looked like an old house it could of been warmed up a bit. Dinner we both had the 615 ribeye which came with onion soup a salad and a side which I had brussel sprouts. The soup, a broth was good a coupe onions in it the salad blue cheese dressing was ok , mayo based which in not a fan but oh well. my steak was cooked properly and tasted good. We didn't get dessert but all in all nice place . I would recommend for the area However the Butterfly had a little more ambiance . read more

Out of all the great options for steak in Beloit my all time favorite is this place. Just the old school feel and friendly bar it just really drives home the supper club theme. Another part of being a true supper club is having prime rib every day. They do such a nice job here and the cost is right on point. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice romantic night out or anyone looking to try one of the best spots in Beloit to get a nice steak. read more

Everything was great here! Service, drinks, appetizers and meals. We had the French onion soup and Stuffed mushrooms to start - both were fantastic. Would go back just for the soup :) Our main entrees were the prime rib (cooked perfectly to medium rare) & Osso Bucco (at 6:30pm it was the last one of the night before sold out! So we knew it was going to be good). Had some after dinner drinks at the bar where the service and ambience was just as good as the rest of the night here. read more

Table of 5 for a birthday dinner, started off with drinks at the bar. Bartender was top notch getting our drinks to us quickly. I had an old fashioned.... okay...2 old fashioned. We were seated quickly upon the restaurant opening. I like the supper clubs with crudités on the tables prior to ordering. I ordered a steak with their au gratin potatoes and a salad and lasagna soup. The soup was good. Loved the potatoes! The steak was a little on the bland side, so that was a bit disappointing. Not sure why there are any reviews less than 5 stars. We traveled all the way from Kenosha and we were not disappointed. This supper club is awesome. We left a message on the answering machine asking for reservations for 5 or 5:30 on a Friday night. The message was promptly returned when they opened and we locked in a 5:15pm reservation. We arrived at 4:45pm and proceeded to have a few Brandy old fashions before dinner. The bartender was very friendly and made a great old fashion and they have hand made blue cheese stuffed olives, yumm!!! We proceeded sit down at 5:15pm and we were promptly greeted by our wonderful waitress. We both ordered pan fried walleye, baked french onion soup, au gratin potatoes and we also were served a salad. All the food was very fresh and the walleye was one of the best i have ever had. I think the tartar sauce that came with the fish was homemade. And if all that was not enough, they brought a breadbasket that included baked cinnamon rolls. They were awesome. The place is also very clean and well decorated, very nice atmosphere. If I lived in Beloit I would be a regular at the 615 Club. read more

You can't get a better steak dinner than at The 615. The dinner comes with soup and salad and a relish tray. You often have a good choice for your sides. The au gratin potatoes are always delicious. This is a very nice restaurant. When we sat down we were given a vegetable mix with a dill dip. Very nice. Next came a cup of the delicious onion soup. It's wonderful. Salads were a light mix of greens, tomato and red onion. Dressing I had was honey mustard (ok) and my wife had basaltic vinegar which was good. Buns appeared to be brown & serve rolls and a couple cinnamon buns. I'd get something from a local bakery. We both ordered the walleye pan fried, which was a large filet and cooked great. It came with au gratin potatoes that had a mild cheese flavor, I'd have used a more pungent cheese. The decor is cloth tablecloths and low lights. It appears to possibly be a remodeled house turned restaurant. It's interesting and great for a date night. Prepare to pay a bit more, especially for the wine. I'd be interested in other things on the menu. I'd recommend it for a good place to eat in Beloit. read more

Five stars for food. Everything, with the exception of our appetizer, was delicious. Prime rib was succulent and perfectly seasoned. The busser/support person was amazing and super attentive. If it weren't for him, this would've been fewer stars. Thank goodness he was in ear-shot to bring us more butter! Our server, Christian, just didn't care. At all. He muddled through the specials without offering any insight as to how they were prepared. We were told, "I'll describe them if you really want to know more". Mmmmkay. He dropped our food. He never checked back to make sure we were good. We needed more dressing, more butter, more sour cream... but after each course and our entrees arrived he was AWOL. Seriously... we didn't see him unless he brought food or dropped our check. We were in a space where two other servers had sections and I heard their descriptions of menu items and add-ons (mushrooms or onions w/ our meat?!?! Wow-- would've loved to have that offered to us!), and just plain good service. Polite conversation, checking with their guests, doing far above the absolute bare minimum which is what we got from Christian. He ruined the rare occasion we get to spend out. It made our experience totally sub-par. There were no other eyes on the floor to make up for the complete lack of care it took to serve us. No one even said goodbye to us as we left. Even though the prices were totally reasonable, the service made dining out here really make it not seem worth our money. read more

This is by far one of the best supper clubs I have ever set foot in. The ambiance is calm, dark, and romantic. The food is excellent. The entire staff and the owner are friendly. Be certain to make a reservation as seating is limited. The bar also serves dinner if you are dining alone or just comfortable eating there. read more
