Flipping on the AM dial and cross referencing with my NOAA app, the approaching storm was too close to pass up on getting a beachfront view of. What really can we be certain of that lurks within the darkening stratus or the thick nimbus - it made me think about the "Parkway Ends' sign. Combined together, we had to run for the beach--and I was on my way somewhere else. Quickly zipping into a perfect parking spot, I exited thinking about a bread shop that made the highest Yelp marks but a little corner cafe caught my eye. Set with Kelly green linen cloth, i sat nustled into the middle outside table, sipped the morning coffee and absorbed the moment. I guess the storm headed off, I dunno, I got entranced into the menu of Irish breakfasts. I'm coming out of the gate talking about Mary's bread. Nutty, wholesome and colored molasses brown, I can't recall the last I've had of this sturdy stuff. Blood sausage, pork links, beans and two fried eggs that were brilliant yellow, sturdy texture held off the fork a bit, silky and buttery and a treat to behold. Any breakfast lover would be doing themselves a disservice to not sit here at Marys and enjoy not only an excellent traditional Irish breakfast, but service fit for a king.

If you want delicious breakfast go to Mary's and enjoy the outdoor seating while you soak up the sun. Meet the "New Mary" she's the best .. along with her friendly staff. Krista our server, was the sweetest. Good peeps all around, true & genuine

Eggs, brown bread, bangers and corned beef.

Went to Mary's for the first time and what a treat. A quaint place with great staff and very good authentic Irish breakfast. The corned beef hash was my favorite part!!!

My first experience for a true Irish breakfast. It was delicious . The homemade bread was amazing along with everything else. The service was great, the portions were huge and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Mary's Irish Shop!

This is a definite stop for the perfect Irish breakfast. Mary runs a welcoming little shop. My dad is a regular for the big Irish breakfast after church. A pot and a half of tea, Irish sausages aka bangers, rashers, black and white pudding, eggs, beans, potatoes/tomatoes and brown bread.... sure to fix any damage from the night before.

While on a corner on a pretty busy street, the location seemed slightly obscure. No parking - just 2 or 3 spots in front of the establishment. We came mid-day on a gloomy Sunday in February...so we didn't have an issue parking right in the front. We were greeted by the friendly associate. There were lots of great-looking gelato flavors which the associate also allowed us to sample first (very kind). She was very patient with us and really seemed to enjoy working there. We're BIG hazelnut enthusiasts, so we each had one scoop of hazelnut flavor and one of the Rocher (hazelnut) flavor. They also had an amazing fig and honey gelato flavors which was absolutely delicious. They offer 4 sizes - kids' size, and then the usual - small, medium and large. The small is 2 generous scoops - and that's what we went with. The overall experience didn't disappoint at all; we thoroughly enjoyed the treat, my hubby had an espresso coffee as well (very good) and we got a kids cup of vanilla for our pup. The prices were also decent and for this type of experience, I will gladly support a small business. I definitely recommend checking out this little gem. Will return once the weather get warmer!

The staff as well is great as well and friendly. Their gelato is delicious with various flavors. The coconut is my favorite! They also have cakes, sorbets, and coffees. If you think you've had great gelato, Caffe Italia will make you question everything you thought…read moreyou knew. The man behind the magic is Mike, the owner -- and he is the real deal. Born in Italy and trained by the best, making gelato isn't his job, it's his calling. You can taste that distinction in every single bite. Mike is constantly developing new recipes, hand-picking fresh fruit at the market, and importing specialty ingredients straight from Italy when he can't find what meets his standards locally. This is a man who simply refuses to cut corners. My family and I have been loyal customers for nearly 8 years, and what's remarkable is that it's just as mind-blowing today as it was the very first time we walked through the door. That kind of consistency is rare -- and it speaks volumes. Over the years, we've brought roughly 40 friends and family members here for the first time. Every single one of them has raved about it. That's not a coincidence. That's excellence. If you're visiting for the first time, do yourself a favor: try the rainbow cookie gelato. You can thank me later. And while many people get it to go, I suggest having it there. The shop is tastefully decorated, it's clean, it's comfortable. For fifteen minutes you'll think you're in Italy. Caffe Italia isn't just the best gelato in the county -- it may very well be the best you'll ever have. Don't walk. Run.
