We had 6 trees directly behind our farmhouse that were overgrown and becoming dangerous due to high winds we get during storms. Called MTE and got a very reasonable quote right away and their crew came out the following week and got 5 trees removed in the worst weather conditions imaginable! They worked through strong winds, hail, rain and more wind, and the forecast for the day was supposed to be fine weather! They were unable to take the last and largest tree down the same day because the winds just became too strong to do it safely. Came back this week and downed the last one and now we can sleep peacefully knowing we won't have a tree crash through our roof and kill us while we sleep! These were absoultely huge overgrown pines and a real challenge being so close to our home. The crew was professional, friendly and extremely efficient, they cleaned everything up that we asked them to remove. I've never seen a crew work so hard! We can now add a few smaller trees to this area that we can manage and enjoy without any worries. Crew #7 is awesome! Our neighbor was having some work done to remove some old, large, and in bad shape hedge trees. The trees were located right beside our driveway and when Crew #7 arrived, they very politely asked for our permission to use our driveway for their equipment. We were happy to comply. The crew leader pointed out a tree on our property, in line with the neighbor's tress, and said that they could remove it at the same time (for a fee of course, but it was minor for removing a tree). We were planning on removing that tree eventually, so this saved us the time and hassle. Beyond removing the tree, they cleaned up the ivy that had been growing for years and to everyone's surprise, we discovered that our driveway was 3-4 feet wider. Amazing! Very nice crew leader and they worked fast!! The stump grinding crew will be here later and if they do a great job too, we will be contacting Maryland Tree Experts again for total removal of some other (4-5) larger trees on our property. read more

We used this company for a large tree removal in our back yard. Scheduling the estimate and job was very easy, they followed up with me right away. Our tree was fenced into our neighbors yard with an old fence and the team did a good job at communicating with both us and our neighbor during the job. They kept the fence panels in as good of condition as possible during the job with removal and placing them back. They helped my neighbor pot a bush near the tree from her yard to preserve it. I was left with minimal damage to the grass where the bobcat had to come into my back yard. The tree had a ton of very large exposed roots and a slop connecting into the fence. They got all except one small root to close to the house to safety remove with the machine. Eammon followed up with us the day after to ensure the extra mulch was removed and the ground leveled out, he was amazing. Our job was done in the winter so we got a great price. read more

I am one who usually does most work by myself because the cost of things are sky high and the level of workmanship is usually piss poor. I have to say that I am so glad I made the decision to hire Maryland Tree Experts. Ervin and his crew #4 were awesome. I went with the half day rate which included having trees removed, deadheading a couple of trees and cutting and relocating some already previously fallen trees into my wooded area of my property. These guys got right to work when they arrived(on time and when promised Which is rare). Their cleanup was impeccable and with very minimal damage to my lawn from their track skid steer. The amount of work that was accomplished in that 4 hour period was phenomenal. I had a large old Red Oak removed from my back yard on 7/28/21 in Rockville, MD. Maryland Tree Experts' quote was not the lowest but I looked over their web site and chose them anyway. The contract says they are not responsible for lawn damage and boy did they damage the lawn. A friend had a tree removed in their back yard recently and the company put down mats to protect their lawn. I wish Maryland Tree Experts had as well. However, they were efficient and cleaned up all the debris afterwards. A reasonable price and efficient service but with a lawn that will take months to replant. We received a quote to remove 2 dead trees and trim 4 other trees, some of which were over 100 years old. The quote was reasonable considering the crew size of 6 workers needed and work to be performed. They arrived on time, spoke English clearly, and walked the property with me to get my input on what needed to be done. They climbed the 4 trees that needed trimming and cut the dead trees, removing ALL debris, and raking the lawn clean. It took them about 2 hours for the work and another hour plus for cleanup.
