ClearTree did a great job helping me clean up a host of damage from a tornado that occurred in June. Owner, Mike Kasun, was prompt about assessing the damage, providing a detailed estimate, and scheduling each phase of the job. Kasun's exceptional customer care became more obvious as he provided temporary fencing to close gaps in my fence where fallen trees created large gaps in my permanent fence. He also identified beech leaf disease in my remaining trees and helped arrange for timely treatment to protect and preserve these trees. The tornado clean-up work had to be done in phases because of the number of trees affected, the location, and accessibility. ClearTree's phased approach showcased a diverse combination of heavy equipment and techniques to get the job done well while mitigating any damage to my property. ClearTree crews pruned lightly damaged trees, removed heavily damaged trees, and removed uprooted trees. Much of this sensitive work was done in close proximity to buildings and fencing. Their clean-up was very thorough, leaving me minimal work to prepare for replanting. ClearTree was not the least expensive provider for my work, but they were clearly the most capable, comprehensive, and conscientious for the job. Cleartree Tree Services in Joppa, MD This is a truly wonderful company! I just had to put in a review praising these guys. My neighbor had 3 very large trees removed and stumps ground. Cleartree showed up a few minutes early, managed to maneuver their trucks and mulching equipment in limited spaces and were very respectful of other drivers on the road and the properties. This crew is unbelievably organized with amazing and precise tree cutting techniques. It was an all day job from before 8am until after 5pm. They took down 3 extremely large trees on different locations of the property. They cleaned up every bit of evidence that they were even there except for those missing trees! The crew worked together so harmoniously, you can tell they enjoy their jobs. I had to go over and watch! It was like going to see a well orchestrated artistic performance! Wow, these guys are amazing, 5 stars all the way. Let me start with the people working in the office, so friendly and helpful. I had my estimate scheduled right away and arborist who came out was super helpful and knowledgeable. He explained what would be the best approach to getting what I wanted while maintaining the health of the trees. I had 3 estimates, one was twice as much as the other two (always get at least 3 estimates) and Cleartree price was similar to the 2nd estimate but the professionalism made them an easy choice. On the day the work was to be done they were here right on time despite school closings for snow in Baltimore City. They were very careful to protect my driveway, reassemble my fence and the clean up was superb. I don't write a lot of reviews but I was so blown away by Cleartree I had to do it. We have used Cleartree twice so far in 2021 for tree removal, stump grinding and trimming services. The owner, Mike Kasun, is a true professional and the crews are outstanding. Mike came out very soon after our calls for service, arrived very promptly on time for appointments, and followed up with accurate and thorough quotes within days of initial consultations. He is extremely knowledgeable in this field and gave us useful guidance as we planned major changes to our landscape. The work crews arrived on time and were super careful not to damage the lawn or plants that were near those to be trimmed/removed. We had a tree fall on our Shed , and the insurance company had us contact several tree companies for removal, Cleartree was the only one to contact us right away. they came out and gave us an estimate and the Insurance company accepted it. When they Arrived a few days later , they had Professional equipment, were Polite and went to work right away, no Mess no damage to the yard and done in No time !! We also had them come back out and take down a large Black Cherry tree that was in Bad shape, Again Very Professional , explained everything and went to work, No mess, tree was removed and no damage to the yard !! We so appreciated the careful tree clearance procedure that ClearTree followed in clearing a dying pine tree in close proximity to our backward solar panels. They came exactly on time. They carefully laid down thick 4 x 8 sheets of plywood to keep from damaging our lawn unlike another tree trimming company that ruined a neighbor's lawn and left debris in the street. When cutting branches and eventually the main trunk, they carefully lowered them by rope to avoid our neighbor yards and our solar panels. And they finished a little sooner than their 2-hour estimate they made as they started the job. The cheaper company ultimate cost our neighbor to repair their lawn so in the end they were not cheaper than ClearTree. A great company with courteous and skilled personnel! read more

I rarely write reviews, but I had such a great experience with this company that I had to share it. In a nutshell: a huge limb fell from one of my big maple trees onto my neighbors roof. ClearTree was the only company to respond in a timely manner. Mike, the owner, is great. The crew that arrived several days later had exactly the right equipment, skill and expertise to remove the limb which required a technically tricky series of procedures to protect the house. They also took out a large juniper for me, ground the stump and removed the section of the broken limb that still remained attached to my tree. Clear Tree once again provided exceptional, efficient, and thorough tree removal. This time, five trees were removed from our front yard, including three large, top heavy, vine-infested white pines straddling our property line. Mike and Tim worked with us and our neighbors to get this job done in two days, including stump grinding. The results are amazing! No evidence that those five declining trees were ever there. This is an exceptionally run company, and about as professional as it gets. We had quite a complicated job, as 11 trees were located just on the crest of a hill in our rear yard that abuts a rear door neighbor's yard, with fencing all around. Mike Kasun, the owner of the company, wrote a letter in advance to the neighbor walking him through the entire process and allaying any fears the neighbor had about potential damage to his own property. Arrived on time. The foreman looked at the tree and started to work on it. Was aware of the sever crack in the trunk. Noticed right away it could fall at anytime due to this crack. He expressed his concern of this and made sure everyone worked safely and made sure i stayed away from it. Safety was his primary concern with this job. He did get the tree safely to the ground. His team disposed of branches and saved firewood pieces for me as requested. Cleaned area and made sure I was happy with their work. Very courteous and professional team. Worked very efficiently. I based my selection of Cleartree based on the wonderful job done at my neighbor's. They removed three large trees and a small one. The large trees were entwined with electric wires. They worked around the wires without cutting the power off. They did an outstanding job in removing the trees and cleaning the yard spotless. I also had them remove one stump.
