Got myself a mani/pedi. I think this place was the perfect place as a guy to get self-care done. Very professional and friendly!

I had gone to this nail salon before and tried a couple places after, but this is NOW my go to nail salon! I love it so much. It's been under new management for the last couple of months, so the salon itself has changed a little bit on the inside. It's peaceful, bright and clean! Prices are reasonable. Everyone is always sooooo nice, and they don't try and push things you don't want. Everyone does a really good job on pedicures and fils, taking pride in their work and making sure you walk out of there happy! read more

I have never been so confused. I paid $70 for this. I get builder gel and apparently they charge extra for painting them, I have never experienced that before. They removed my last set and "shaped" my natural nails and none of them are the same. Go any where else but here, literally anywhere else. They are so bad and expensive I could cry. read more

I have been coming to Marvel Nails for years and have never had a problem. However I went in for my usual Gel mani/pedi on 8/6/21 and have been suffering in pain since. My left hand ring fingernail and middle fingernail have infected hangnails as well as my right hand little fingernail. The technician that did my manicure was watching videos on her phone at the same time. I don't know if this is why I have three infected hangnails but as I stated in the beginning I have never before had a problem. I should also mention that they did not start throbbing until later in the evening. read more

Waxing is the only service I have received at Marvel Nails and Spa, and it's great! I usually don't have an appointment when I walk in and am helped immediately. The service is so friendly and the wax is always done thoroughly! read more

Not a great experience. He rubbed the sides of my nails to far down it was burning and hurting so bad on two fingers. The polish work was bad. He didn't even clean off the old polish right. Sat under the blue light for too long and was still soft when I left. I was upset. Idk why they have to act rude and act like they don't want to work on your nails when that's their job. No customer service at all. I also asked which one they recommend for nude color. Younger gal told me there should be plenty on the wall. I asked which one, I said I don't see "nude" on any of them. Than they talked amongst themselves when you can't understand. Worst experience. Now my nails hurt and look crappy read more

Don't judge a book by the cover would be a great way to describe this place. At first I was kinda throw off by how little and crammed it was. I had my two daughters with me ... they had a kid size pedi chair which was so Cute the girls love it! Very patient with them ! My nails turned out great I love them.. we will be back. 70 bucks for two pedicures a full gel set and one kid painting of toes and nails! read more

I really wish I could give this place a better rating but after my visit I just can't. Came here about a week ago to get a full set for an event I had. I understood that I came in a little later in the day but they were very welcoming and had me sit at a station while I waited. Well the wait was...long. If y'all are busy please don't take 3 new people with the promise of a 10 minutes wait. Everything started fine my tech was super nice but I'm not 100% sure about his skill. I asked for medium coffin shaped nails, pretty basic? Right? I guess not cause he ended up doing a long box nail. I asked a few times for him to cut and reshape but he never actually did. Now whatever I can always reshape at home, I could've moved past that. Now he started on the polish, with gel you normally have a base coat for protection, not here! I reminded him about 2 nails in and he shrugged saying "oh it will be okay, no chips" He continued to paint and I could see how thin and sticky it was on the grit on my nail. At this point I was just kind of annoyed so I let him finish in silence. I'm here a week later with chunky, bumpy, and chipping nails. Sure the people here are nice and I get why that would make you wanna come back but the skill and care is lacking. Probably won't be back. :/ read more

Okay, I think I can finally write a review now that I've gone a billion times. I have struggled for years to find a nail salon that I can trust. Through yelp, I stumbled upon Marvel Nails, and can I say, thank god! Seriously the kindest, most talented people I've met! I love going in every time and leave oh-so happy. I get nothing but compliments on my amazing nails done by Tiffany. This is definitely something I've worked into my monthly budget because I love it so much. If you're on Yelp looking for an amazing nail place, look no further. read more

I went here once for a pedicure as a treat, i normally do my own nails. Everything seemed ok until i saw the tech use a "used" throw away type (cant be disinfected) nail file on my toes. At that point i got very leery and pointed it out. The tech either ignored me or didn't understand me because she just continued. Several weeks later i remove the toe nail polish and find 3+ toes have nail fungus. No one in my house has nail fungus, i disinfect all my clippers and instruments after each use (but had not used them since the pedicure). And ive not been out anywhere where i could have gotten it from. So yeah im beyond pissed because Marvel is the only place i coild have gotten it from read more

I searched and searched and even stopped by several locations to get my nails done with no luck! Midweek adventure! I'm a fan of dip nails and to find a place that actually takes their time and pays attention to detail is truly perfect. I decided to stop at this location close to my apartment and I've got to say I'm not disappointed. Simple, small and quiet salon, Marvel Nails was perfect. The nail tech was meticulous and through to perfection. I can't say how truly happy I am!! I will return and look forward to having a pedi as well. read more

I've gone to Marvel Nails & spa twice. This was my second time, and I really thought I was going to get a better outcome. But I didn't.... My nails came out thick and lumpy. I asked for SNS and the nail tech still put a gel top coat and used a UV light to seal the color. I've been getting SNS for a year now and that's never been done. Why ask for SNS then? And pay $10 bucks more? The young man doing my toes was extremely rude on top of that. Cheap place for poor customer service and cheap looking nails. read more

This was the worst experiences that I've ever had. I read the reviews prior to making an appointment and one of the things that drew me in was Tiffany responding to complaints kindly and professionally. I asked for a gel color change and for my cuticles to be cut. The nail tech was extremely aggressive with the rotating file and the buffer to the point that one of my fingers have a gash! Two fingers bled but one was worse than the other. When I went to pay I let a guy know what happened and he ignored what I said and repeated the price. After I said "even with what I just told you?" he then told Tiffany. She examined the gash and said that they were doing me a favor by charging $5 instead of $10 for the cuticle "care" and that there's nothing that they could do. I'm so sad and disappointed. I added another photo. It hasn't even been 24 hours read more

I was in the area and I called and they let me come in early than the opening time. The lady who did my pedicure seemed to be rushing even though I was the only one in the place , she also cut me a few times. The man who did my acrylics was nice but definitely rushed and rough. He also didn't do anything with my cuticles. The shape was nice but messy job. Gave me water however but I won't be coming here again. read more

I've been here before and they've done great but the last few times I've gone my nails have ended up looking like jelly beans or they crack within a day or two. Also, after removing the dip powder, my natural nails are so thin that they hurt. The lady that does the waxing is very good but today my niece and I went and another lady did it, I believe she is the owner, and she took way too much of my right eyebrow. I will be using much more eyebrow makeup to make up for the loss of hair for a few weeks for sure. And then she burned my niece's eyelid with the wax. We didn't realize the burn until we got home. We will not be going back. read more

Very disappointed. I read other reviews and decided to give them a try. My usual nail place was available on a Sunday and it was the only day I was available. Went in for a full set and Pedi. The older man who did my nails was in a rush at 11AM (when they opened, and kept telling me dont worry, which always makes me worry). Rushed thru nails and it shows. The only saving grace is that the younger gentleman that did my pedi was absolutely amazing! Very polite, listened, and does a great leg massage! Would only return for Pedi with the younger guy, and him alone. *I apologize for not getting names* read more

Okay okay okay I think two times is enough for me to gather a decent amount of things to say about this amazing establishment. I have never felt more welcome in a nail salon (except for one my old coworker owns in chandler mall) to where I want to return to not only because of the warm vibes I get but from the amazing work that Tiffany and the rest of her family have done on both mine and my friends nails that I brought with me. The first day I only had time to get my gel nail manicure done and they turned out better than I had hoped. Especially 250% better than the last place I wrote a review on in gilbert. The second day I had wanted to get a pedicure since they have a check In offer (which I hate asking about because you never know what to expect if a business will look at you like you're completely insane or be accepting and understand what is going on) and Tiffany already knew I had checked in so I would get my 10% off of the service. I cannot wait to try their best pedicure package because I literally was ready to doze off when I was getting my feet massaged. Some places focus more on the legs and for me personally I'm not a fan of my tibia being roughly massaged on like I've had in the past. The last pedicure I had at sky nails almost made me want to never get a pedicure again. I've never been in so much pain getting a pedicure before. Thank you Jesus for marvel nails I will never stray! It is absolutely the worst trying to find the perfect nail salon but I will search no further and don't have to go to multiple places for different services. It's so much nicer if you can trust a place to do a good job on both massaging your feet and knowing how to do your nails correctly. I cannot wait for my 2-3 week marker when I can get my next pedicure it shall be epic I am sure. Then I will have to drag my boyfriend in as well so he can experience the magic! :) read more

I am actually posting this from the salon as I'm getting my nails done. A friendly man named John did my pedicure and it was nice. I've had better, but I've definitely had worse. John also did my gel manicure, however Tiffany was going to apply the design. When I sat down in her chair, she said, "I'm sorry, but these need to come off. He got the color on your skin. If you leave them like this, they will lift within a week. You can stay and we will fix them, or you can come back in a week and I will fix them for free." Marvel Nails and Spa is a (CLEAN) hole in the wall, however, it's their integrity and awesome work ethic is what will keep me coming back. read more

I called in ahead to see if they had time for a fill and they said if I came soon it would be fine. I didn't catch the name of my nail tech this afternoon but he did an amazing job. When I walked in he was rocking a baby to sleep. I didn't have an appointment and he barely made me wait! He was a middle aged man and very sweet. One of the reasons I am writing is because I wanted to point out how kind this individual is. A man walked into the shop asking for some money to buy a bus ticket. My nail tech did not hesitate to help this stranger. He got up from his seat and pulled cash out of his wallet to help the man out . He also offered the man a bottle of water. The world is such a cruel place sometimes and it was really nice to see such thoughtfulness this afternoon. If you want good people doing your nails, come here ! read more

If you're considering a visit, DO IT! I followed Tiffany (the daughter of the group) from a previous salon because she's THAT good. I came here for my first time on Sunday afternoon. I did not call ahead but was greeted by super friendly staff that got me in a chair right away. I initially came in just to get my acrylics filled but after sitting there I ended up getting a pedicure too because my nail technician was doing such a great job. I was given a complimentary water bottle and was super pleased by their customer service. Even better, the pricing was so appealing! I got my acrylics filled with regular polish and a relaxing pedicure for $40. Thank you to this amazing staff! read more

I had a bridal party of 9 girls, all getting different combinations of manis and pedis and acrylics, etc all coming in to our afternoon appointment at different times (some were arriving from the airport, some were finishing errands) and Marvel Nails and Spa handled every curve so well. I called them the day of our appointment to add pedicures to some of the bridesmaids who requested it, and they adapted with almost no problem. They were the most friendly family I have ever met to run a nail salon. They made sure we were comfortable, handled our rolling schedule, and only one of the nine had a manicure they didn't love, which was promptly re-done by one of the employees. The salon is a little small for a bridal party but the massage chairs are great and you can easily gossip with your bridesmaids due to the layout. If you're looking for a Giang bridal spa, this is not that, but if you're looking for a great value and at great hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop salon, you've found your hidden gem. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Came here for my birthday with high hopes because I used to come here before. I regret coming here. I asked for gel toe nails maybe about 4 times and they did regular polish on my toe nails. On top of that the they lady that did the dip powder on my nails made it look like I have huge finger nails which I don't. She just put waaay to much powder and didn't file it off. I have no idea what happened to this place but I am very disappointed and will not return back. I guess their conversation was better than customer service and quality. It was empty when I got there and as soon as 1 customer walked In she started to rush on my nails. Horrible horrible horrible ! read more

Today was the first time I've ever visited Marvel Nails and I was a bit skeptical because I've had such awful experiences elsewhere, but I was pleasantly surprised! I walked in and was sat down with Tiffany after about 15 minutes and explained what I wanted; a full set of tapered square nails with liquid gel verses the acrylic, and she immediately knew what I was talking about and got started. She took her time and seemed very critical about everything she did, and she did an AMAZING job! I'm used to being cut a few times but she didn't cut me once, my nails are perfectly and evenly polished, they are even, have no weird bumps, and are exactly what I was looking for. If you're in the market for a new nail salon, look no further. Tiffany was outstanding and people seemed to ask for her mother as well, I'm not too sure of her name but I'm sure you could ask. Thank you so much Marvel/Tiffany for such an outstanding experience, I am looking forward to my next visit! :) read more

Marvel Nails & Spa is literally the best nail place I have ever been too! I used to go to AZ nails and spa and the service there was always horrible never listened to what I wanted and never cared to ask me any questions. Tiffany is my favorite nail tech, she makes conversation with me and actually cares about what I say, she always listens to what I want, and even if I don't know what I want that day she always helps me to decided and makes suggestions. My pedicures are always great as well, I can't see my people would ever be disappointed here. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your service! Thanks Tiffany! read more
