Getting the double cheeseburger combo is such a great deal for around $15 you will be FULL with fries and a drink. If you aren't a fan of lettuce tomatoes pickles, I recommend getting the double swiss shroom dijon burger which has caramelized onions and mushrooms. Their fries are also super fresh, hand cut, and delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of their poutine because it was super watery. Same with their chili, the flavor kind of reminded me of canned food. Ive tried their chili dogs on multiple occasions and felt the same each time. Very generic I would skip the hotdogs. Staff there is super friendly and if you sit outside they will bring the food out to you. Overall, very solid burger joint.

We have been to Marty's many times. It's a Fort Lee staple if you have not gone yet. Ranging from combo meals to single ones as a standalone. You can enter from inside the building or outside entrance. Burgers are always fresh. Fries are cut from directly from the potato. Always so good.

Came here during lunch, my friend suggested this spot and I been eyeing this place for a while. I have heard only good things about this place so was looking forward to it. Placed a to go order of the double cheeseburger combo ($15.99) with smoked bacon ($1.50). The burger was really juicy and tasty. It had an interesting sauce, their house sauce, can't pinpoint exactly what it is but it went well with the burger. I was really stuff after that meal. If you're in the mood for a burger, I would recommend this spot.

This was my second time ordering from Marty's. I have eaten a lot of burgers, and I can say that Marty's is one of my favorites. Their burgers are consistently of high quality and have fresh ingredients. I initially tried their classic single burger without the cheese, but chose "The BBQ" burger this time. It was absolutely delicious! The onions and bacon were perfectly crisp, the jalapeños added a subtle spiciness, and the smoke sauce brought it all together. Also, this is one of the few selections that allows a substitution of vegan cheese. I don't tolerate dairy, so this is ideal. The only disappointment was the fries. They were ok the first time, but a bit over-done this time. Their flavor was also lacking a bit. Perhaps the seasoned versions taste better.

I used to loveee Marty's burgers. They've become a bit less consistent with the flavors in the past two years or so. I wouldve given a 5 star rating 3 years ago because the burgers tasted deliciouss before. Now the burgers are good but it hasn't really stood out to me much recently. Appearance wise it's beautiful though, nice packaging and the inside of the shop is nice as well. There's some seating and a bathroom inside. Service is nice as well. I've tried around 5 different burgers, fries & their chicken sandwich from here. Overall, I'd rate the food a 7.2/10

Grabbed a burger from Marty's for a late dinner on a weeknight. It's a small quick service restaurant, where you order at the register and pick it up at the counter. There aren't many tables, so I think it's mostly for takeout. The menu is short. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and fries. They also have various toppings that can go on any of their sandwiches. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and they soon called me up. The burger I got looked great. The veggies were surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato was crispy and sweet, while the pickles were crunchy and tart. There were also chopped onions on the burger. The patties were smashed, but still very juicy, with the cheese well melted. The burger actually looked better than advertised! The fries were made from fresh cut potatoes, and they definitely tasted like it. The burger is almost perfect. My only complaint is that the burger was too soft. The meat was flavorful, but it was so soft you could probably get away with not chewing. I would have liked a little more texture and bite in the beef patty. The only things in the burger that weren't very soft were the crunchy pickles and slightly crisp lettuce and tomato. Prices are actually really good. Their double cheeseburger combo is currently only $12.50, whereas a Baconator combo at Wendy's currently sets you back $11.99. I would definitely recommend Marty's to anyone looking for a good burger.

Have really enjoyed my food from Marty's in the past, and it's a good thing, because if today was my first time dining, I might not go back! I waited to order while a family of 5 in front of me had questions about everything on the menu and then had to customize everything in their order! Not the restaurant's fault! After waiting 5 minutes for the family to be done ordering it's my turn. Now the cashier has to replace the receipt tape and then reprint the family's large order, twice. I'm ready to pass out! Finally, I get to order my spicy chicken combo. It was relatively busy, but my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I'm dining in, and it's a good thing because my fries were at best warm, and would have been stone cold had I taken my order to go. I don't know how fries can be warm and limp when the restaurant is busy. My spicy chicken sandwich was a bit sloppily made and undercooked! It wasn't raw and I didn't get sick from it, but it definitely could have used another minute or two in the fryer. There were 3 workers behind the counter. One fellow who seemed unhappy and two space cadets, who were pleasant. Had this been my first visit, I don't know that I would return, but I'll put this meal down as an off day and I'll be back hoping for a great meal as in the past.

Been wanting to try Marty's for a while and recently got the chance to do so. We stopped by on a Friday at around 6:15, and there were some people dining in but most seemed to be getting food to go. Since we wanted to try both the burger and the chicken, we got a combo of each. The Cheeseburger + Original Fries + Soda Can and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich + Original Fries + Soda Can. It's a pretty good deal if you compare it to similar burger/chicken spots, or even Shake Shack. Plus, the sandwiches are bigger here. Hubby and I each went halfsies on the two. I enjoyed both, thought I can't remember now which one I liked more (but it's usually the burger in these situations). Fries are okay. I could probably skip these next time and just go for a Double. We ended up getting the banana pudding for dessert, and that was pretty good as well. It seems like a sleeper hit since people probably tend to get a shake with their burger + fries, but definitely check it out! Tip - there's no free parking, but there is a municipal parking lot that's pretty big

Ohhh Marty's. I should've given you a review sooner. Honestly I only eat the fried chicken sandwich and truffle parm fries here. When you get it fresh (I think it mostly depends on how many stops the food courier has to make before they get to you, so you probably want to do pick up), the fries have good flavor and crispiness to them. They also smell SO good. I have to admit the chicken sandwiches aren't always super consistent, but I'm still giving five stars because when it's good, it's GOOD. And I still love them even when they're not at their best Super juicy inside with nice soft buns that are toasted on the inside - very important detail for me - and hold everything together. Try eating it with some spicy aioli or kewpie mayo on the bun if you have any on hand!

First Delivered order for me and first time tried something from here....everything was amazinggggg!!! The mushroom Dijon burger was sooooo exquisite! I recommend The poutine ( hand made cut fries w/ mozzarella cheese in beefy gravy... delowwww! Also you must try the Truffle Parmesan fries.... I'm not sure which fries were the best! Blessing guys! Honestly between the Swiss Shroom burger and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, I don't know which is better. Something about that fresh taste just hits different. Combine that with salt and vinegar fries and a float? Guilty pleasure perfection. Staff and general vibe is cheerful and sweet as well! Everyone wears masks properly and wears gloves when handling food. read more

Not that Marty's Burgers needs any more reviews. Not only was I impressed with the ambience and the atmosphere, but the food and service were great as well! Every single thing we got was terrific and the menu itself was to die for. Bonus that their service is so good, they are so swift and polite. The spicy chicken sandwich was on a whole other level of crispy. My sister's bf told me about this spot so I asked them to bring me some.. she brought it to me after 30 minutes so the fries were cold but the sandwich was the most crispiest chicken I ever tasted and that's after the 30 minutes.. I reheated my fries in the toaster oven and enjoyed every part of that meal.. I've been thinking about Marty's ever since.. I think I'll have some today.. by far the BEST Spicy Chicken Sandwich I ever tasted. read more

Burger size is good. But not tasty. Meat is dry and definitely not freshly made or homemade. More like Wendy's burger standard. If your expectation is something close to 80% of shake shack, you will be very disappointed. Fries are too salty and soggy. Taste like salty potato. Let's say, $15 and you get a full stomach. Frankly, Wendy's and Burger King has higher value for your money. Update: customer service is great. Someone from the store called me to follow up. They listened to my feedback. They care and they want to improve and make every customer satisfied. Because of that, I am willing to give Marty another try. I also up my rating to 3 for now. If the food quality improves next time, I will give a 4 or 5. read more

For the truffle fries they put like three normal sized fries and underneath were tiny little broken pieces of fries - never had fries served like that before. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich the crunch was a little too much and didn't taste spicy and there was a weird reddish color to the fried part. The burger meat was dry and bland. The seating was dirty inside. read more

Skip the crispy fried chicken sandwich and save room in your hangry belly for the burger and fresh-cut fries. The griddle dog is decent, too. While the chicken sandwich was in fact crispy, it was mostly batter, minimal chicken, and a bit dry. The double cheeseburger was worth all your red meat quota for the week. The meat patties w the bread and layers of ingredients all paired together nicely and made for a tasty bite. I ordered for delivery and my driver was friendly, even waited until I came down (not necessary as my building's security accepts food deliveries for us), and arrived early. However, whoever packed the bag over packed it and it broke in the elevator ride back up. I got to taste 4 hand-cut fries which were really good! read more

This was a nice treat on a weeknight. I think after Covid and working out a few wrinkles that this could be a solid 4 or star place. I may have also missed out on their better offerings having only gotten the Impossible Burger and fries. The burger was great. The prepared the impossible burger better than their fast food competition. The roll was nice and fresh. Store bought, but didn't rob anything from the burger. The fries were good. I ended up with perhaps the last batch after a busy day because it was all broken ends like the last few crumbs in a bag of chips. The interior has a nice counter that isn't really being utilized as it should probably for COVID social distancing. The bucket of ketchup packets was strangely unmarked and near the garbage, which is not intuitive nor highlighted by staff nor the first desired stop on way to seat. The staff was awesome though, and very friendly with great service. I think this is a great addition to Fort Lee and I hope they are really successful. This place isn't innovative but it's comfortable and approachable and meets a definite need. Thanks. read more

The best part of Marty's Menu were their amazing chicken sandwich (better than Popeyes). The milkshakes were tasty. However, I can't give this place greater than 4 stars for 2 reasons: the burger was subpar. Secondly, communication during an opening has to be better. I had a coupon for any kind of free fries, but was told I can only get the original cuts. Overall, I understand that it was the grand opening and things will get better. read more

Went tonight for the first time and absolutely loved it. I ordered the double cheeseburger which was perfect - meat patties were juicy, flavorful, and great quality. Toppings were delicious as was the house sauce. Fries and Mac n cheese were great too - definitely recommend. Amazing addition to the fort lee restaurant options and can't wait to go back and try the chicken sandwich! read more

I had the double cheeseburger for a little over 8 dollars and my son had the vegan incredible burger with one patty for a little over 11 dollars. Both burgers were good and even the vegan burger tasted like a regular beef burger. They had a choice of regular, old Bay, salt and pepper and truffle parmesan fries. My son had the last type for about 4.50 dollars. read more

I've been here on two separate occasions, and the classic cheeseburger has been pretty consistent. Juicy, well seasoned, complemented with a sweet pickle and great special sauce. This beats Shake Shack any day of the week. I also had their truffle fries, not too much on the truffle flavor, but I understand how hard that is to do because I've added truffle oil to my fries at home and it's hard to bring out the flavor. I'd like to see them bring out a few more flavors on their shakes - peanut butter maybe? Shakes and dessert options aren't plenty, but they've mastered the burger, so that's what matters. read more

The menu is classically simple and food is super good (I had the Impossible burger, my son had the double burger) but their physical location could use some upgrades and renewed presentation. For an establishment that's only open for nearly 2 months, nothing about it looks new and inviting. Doesn't matter too much now, since you can't eat inside during the pandemic but it should still be about creating an experience which is what other classic burger joints do. Banana pudding is homemade and excellent! Girls behind the counter are very friendly and on it. Will add to our go-to burger list! read more

I think this place is the best burger place around Fort Lee area. The burger was very juicy and you can finish eating within a minutes. Too yummy and I really enjoyed that. I like to add fried egg topping which many burger places don't have the option. I like everything about their burgers. But I am not a big fan of their French fries. Some times thy are overly fried. read more

Craving a good burger and Marty's did not disappoint! Meat was tender and flavorful , and arranged just how I specified. Original fries were a bit soggy on arrival, next time I would order the truffles fries and ask them to lightly staple bag once once to allow fries to vent . Otherwise, my teenager said he will check it out with his friends ! read more

I first heard of them and tried Rutt's Hut. Since then I have been to a few more including here. This is excellent. My usual is a couple of rippers and a root beer. Add some relish and mustard. What a meal! Can't clog my arteries all the time, but this is a great treat once in a while.
