Dropped off my dry cleaning on Monday, was told to pick it up on Friday after 3pm showed up at 4 PM. When I arrived at the store I was told it was not ready I asked for my stuff so I can leave I needed it they told me they sent it out to be dry cleaned I expressed my unhappiness with them spoke to the supposed owner who was an arrogant disrespectful and rude. I will gladly never do business with them again. I was one of five people who was told their stuff Was not ready and needed to come back. One star is too many!! Oh!! Where do I begin? Rob Plassman, Owner, was contacted numerous times over the issue I had with his business. I asked him to remedy the situation, but he refused. I took my mother-of-the-groom dress to be altered/hemmed. The alteration was so completely botched that I refused to accept. It could not be repaired because it would have been too short. I was forced to purchase another dress. in the meantime, I presented the receipt, along with the ruined dress. instead of giving me a refund, he returned my dress to Macy's, pretending to be me. Note: Macy's policy is to not accept altered returns. He had Macy's credit my credit card and signed my name! Is this fraud?when I called to inquire about my refund, not realizing what he had done, they informed me it had been credited to my CC account. I asked Rob Plassman where my return receipt was. His response, "I shredded it". I gave him a chance to remedy this issue, but he refused my certified letter. I called to give him one last chance before I posted this to apologize and explain.... We took a rather expensive duvet (fancy blanket) here since it hadn't been cleaned in awhile, and it couldn't go in a washing machine. So, we took it down the street to this place. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. The label on the duvet was in Chinese (where my wife bought it), but it had the universal "do not dry clean" logo on it. However, the lady said we could still get it cleaned but had to sign a simple waiver. The duvet has a firm cotton exterior but is stuffed with silk. She said she would take extra care to clean it. In the end, it came out cleaned to perfection, and the stuffing didn't even clump up like she said might happen. It took five days to get it back, and it cost $26.60. It is a queen size duvet (which would've cost $31), but she charged us for a smaller full size duvet instead.
