This place is local so i dropped 5 dress shirts off this morning, they had them done some day which is the only reason I'm goin giving 2 stars instead of 1. all 5 shirts have wrinkles pressed into the back of them along the shoulders that look terrible. I won't be returning. read more

It's not easy to find a dry cleaner these days, and with all the work from home, more will likely go out of business. Alexanders did a good job Annie off white sports coat for me after a 93° wedding that serve tacos. The triple threat. Very satisfied with their service. read more

This place is no bueno for me. 2nd time I've stopped in for alterations and the lady finds an excuse to NOT do it. First time was for a Lions jersey. I wanted the sleeves shortened. "Sorry sir we don't do that". Second time was today. I have a new pair of store purchased weathered denim (the old best up look). I wanted them shortened and I wanted to keep the original cuff. I don't want to have these weathered jeans with the cuff that doesn't match. "Sorry sir we don't do that, plus it's too much work" who says "it's too much work"? This is a business, you're supposed to be working lady! Bummer because they are close to home. I guess I'll go to the old guys in Dearborn that will do it exactly like I want, and cheaper. Just a little more of a drive. This is an update as of May 2018. I've been going to Dynamic Cleaners on Greenfield in Dearborn. FANTASTIC! Great dry cleaning! I drive by several dry leaners to get to Alexander's, but it is worth the drive.

After reading reviews for Alexanders Cleaners, and comparing reviews to other cleaners in this specific area, I decided to try the cleaners. I dropped off 3 pairs of slacks, and a thin fall jacket. My total was $35.00. That seemed very pricey in my opinion for 4 items. I believe each pair of pants were about $8.00, and the jacket was $11.00. The jacket is understandable in price, but the price of slacks were surprising. I will say though that the last time I have been to a cleaners was about two years ago, but I remember my slacks being $5.00 to clean. So maybe prices have drastically gone up within that time, I'm not sure, as I'm not a person that utilizes that the cleaners often. I picked up my clothing items a week later, and everything was nice, nicely pressed, etc. The staff were friendly and nice, and it's a convenient location, but I think for the next time around, I want to shop around for cheaper prices at another cleaners. I used Alexanders Cleaners for the linen for my wedding on May 21, 2016. I initially called and spoke with the owner, Alex, and told him my situation. I had purchased my own linen and needed help getting it all pressed. He gave me an estimate over the phone and I decided to go for it. The linen was pressed very nice and in nice clear plastic bags. I had a belt loop reattached to a jacket. The work was done quickly although she attached the belt loop in the opposite direction of the other. She didn't let the lining out to attach it properly. You can't tell while wearing the jacket, so it's not much of an issue. I think if I had left the jacket & not waited, it would have been done properly. In general, the storefront was well kept and employees were informed & friendly. I would try them once more. read more

Expensive and rude/snooty. The man that answered the phone said, and I quote, "I don't do any work on Saturdays." Your hours on Saturday say 9AM-4PM. WHAT?! All I needed pressed was ONE shirt! I had called them one time before this to ask about prices for alterations on my son's jeans, $10 a PAIR! I don't think so! If I could give NO stars, I would. Don't waste your time with these people. read more
