Cheesecake with raspberry sauce. So yummy
Laura I.

Our waiter Seegi was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed our meal and listening to the music. We were surprised by the cheese cake for my aunts birthday. It was delicious. Absolutely will be back.

This is my absolute favorite place for happy hour - the drink specials are great, but the food is even better. Thursday and Friday night are a special treat because they have live jazz playing the absolute best music. The last time I went, we were a party of seven and they still managed to get us seated in less than 30 minutes - - and martinis is always crowded. The staff is so friendly and professional and so are their customers... I think positive vibes may be a requirement for entry lol Food 5/5 - best mussels in nmb, everything seasoned well and cooked to perfection Ambiance 5/5 - fair trade off between hustle/bustle and pleasant music Prices 5/5 - very reasonable, HH prices are even more generous Service 5/5 - loved our server- very attentive and friendly. Same for the hostess

Looks can be deceiving. From the outside this place looks like a dive bar. Inside it's dark and moody. The night we were there had an actual lounge singer, it was really cool. They had martini specials that night and we took advantage! My hubby had the prime rib, I had the chicken and we shared class in wine sauce. The food was delicious! We left stuffed! We also had a fantastic waitress. If you're in Myrtle Beach, give it a try!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Martini. The service was wonderful. We were lucky enough to have a lovely server named Michaela or Mikayla (unsure on spelling), and she was so attentive and personable. We never had to wait long for her to return, and she was so sweet, she really added to our experience. The ambience was nice, not too loud. There was a musician playing jazz, but we weren't seated close enough to him for it to be too loud. The lighting was quite dim. So it was very romantic but maybe not the best for reading menus. We started with a Shrimp Cocktail, which was delicious. I know it's hard to mess up a shrimp cocktail so the bar isn't terribly high, but we're big shrimp cocktail connoisseurs, and we were very pleased with this one. It consisted of 8 moderately big shrimp, and some very flavorful cocktail sauce. I got the House Salad which was very nice, but nothing spectacular (though I don't expect much from a house salad). It was nicely chopped with salami, tomatoes, feta cheese, and a light homemade Italian dressing. The breadstick was underwhelming but it made a great vehicle for scooping up the last of the dressing. My date got the New England Clam Chowder, which was quite yummy. Nice chunks of clam and potato, well seasoned, very comforting. For my entree, I ordered the Twin Lobster Tails. It was fresh and hot and served with drawn butter and a charred lemon, which I always think is a nice touch. The texture was great, and the lemon and butter were delicious, simple complements. Maybe not the most magnificent lobster I've ever had, but I was definitely not disappointed. I ordered it with a side of the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I wouldn't say they were super garlicky, but the flavor was great, nice and savory. It had some bits of red potato skin and small potato chunks throughout, giving it a delightful texture. My date ordered the Martini Fettuccine, and he was just whelmed by it (not overwhelmed or underwhelmed). It was a good dish, yummy and hearty, but somewhat unremarkable. A good solid pasta dish. We got the Tiramisu for dessert, and again it was lovely but not the best tiramisu I've had. It was very cold so it did feel like it had been made a while ago (or maybe even store bought) and kept in a fridge or freezer. The flavors were sweet and coffee-y, but I was disappointed but the use of Cool Whip (or some other whipped dessert topping) as the accompaniment. I think some simple whipped cream would have paired better since the tiramisu was already so sweet. Lastly, the cocktails were wonderful, which is to be expected at a restaurant called Martini. We tried the Blue Cheese martini, and I got mine extra dirty. It was wonderfully savory and flavorful, definitely yummy if you like a blue cheese olive martini. My favorite part of the evening, though, was the Melt Away martini I got for dessert. Caramel vodka, butterscotch schnapps, a caramel drizzle, and a salt rim. I was intimidated by the use of the salt rim, but it paired so well with the sweetness of the cocktail. I won't mention how many of those we ordered...

Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Alfredo- my go to every time!

Another great meal coupled with great service. Tried the crab encrusted grouper and it was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Cape Fear Seafood Company is located in a strip shopping center…read more Food was very good, and service was excellent. The restaurant decor was what you'd typically see at a seafood restaurant. I had fried jumbo shrimp which were not listed on the menu as a platter, but our waitress (Grace) was glad make the exception. My husband ordered the fresh catch salmon with mango salsa. Sides were: green beans with roasted tomatoes, sautéed spinach and risotto cakes. Everything was very good and Grace kept our tea glasses full. When I'm in the area I'll definitely stop in some of their delicious food!

We came to this restaurant for dinner after our fishing trip. This place was recommended by the man…read morewho took us on our fishing tour. It seemed very "busy" for an early Monday evening around 5:20/6pm. It had quite a few customers but also many empty tables inside. We wanted to sit inside but were told they were holding tables for reservations. So our only option was to sit outside or to wait over 20 minutes. We were very hungry so we sat outside. Our waitress came out and greeted us and was very nice and answered all our questions. We had a table on the far right of the patio. Outside was hot and there were little small gnats flying around. We ordered the mussels in a wine sauce for appetizers. And OMG when the food came out the gnats swarmed in on us and it was worse! We could not enjoy the food because we were in a constant battle. We complained to the waitress. And we wound up moving to another table closer to the door (still outside in the opposite side because we still were told there were no tables inside). It was a better but gnats were still there. The food, however, was really good and would have been even better without fighting bugs. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the sauce it was in was delicious! We were almost licking the plate, but so I wouldn't look like a heathen, used the bread to wipe up the plate instead. The roasted red pepper crab bisque was also very good and I like that it had bigger lumps of crab in it. For my main course I had the fresh catch of the day that came with a lemon sauce, mango salsa and risotto. I am not a fan of asparagus so I was allowed to substitute for spinach. The dish was so delicious! I was happy with the taste and quality of the food. A manager just so happened to round on us while we were eating and we told her our complaints about the gnats. She was very understanding and offered us a free dessert or to take some money off the bill. When the waitress came back she asked us what dessert we wanted complimentary. We wondered why the manager gave us both options, but we didn't actually get to choose what we really wanted which was the money off the bill. We were really full and didn't have room for the dessert. Rather than protesting, we just chose a dessert to go, but unfortunately forgot to eat it because we had to pack for our early morning flight. My review would have been 5 stars for the service and food if it wasn't for those pesky bugs outside. I don't know why there was so many out there.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This restaurant is on the corner of a little neighborhood shopping…read morearea and the locals know it well. The food was excellent. All seafood, meats, & produce were of high quality and prepared to perfection. I recommend the Grouper Bites as an appetizer. Took our beverage orders, returned quickly with those and water. She told us the specials which we passed on. Fred ordered fried oysters platter, I ordered an à la carte crab cake and oysters Rockefeller. Our food arrived quickly. Fried oysters were plentiful and crispy. House made chips were crunchy and delicious. My crab cake was wonderful - as close to a Maryland crab cake as I've had in a long time. Lump crab, very little bread crumbs, pan fried and served with a dollop of hollandaise. It needed some Old Bay seasoning. The Rockefeller Oysters were delicious. Plump oysters topped with spinach and Hollandaise. They need a splash of Pernod and would be 5 star. We split a piece of house made peanut butter pie for dessert. It wasn't good. Way too sweet and very soupy. Tasted like a cool whip recipe. Our tab was reasonable and we left our server a generous tip. We recommended the restaurant to numerous people we knew back at the hotel. I'd definitely return!
