Update: I don't know how to respond to the response below, so I am doing it here…read more No, I did not receive an estimate, and I did send my follow-up text to the direct number you provided below. None of this communication ever happened through Yelp. When you left my house, you said you would text me the quote, which I already found a little unusual because I normally receive quotes by email. I was therefore waiting to receive the quote by text through the number you provided below. That was the only number we had been communicating through. After a couple of days, when I still had not received anything, I sent a follow-up text to that same number asking when I could expect the quote. I received no response, and I still have not received an estimate. After remediation, I contacted VDO Remodeling for an estimate for restoration work. Denys from VDO Remodeling came to my house for a completely normal consultation and said he would provide a line-item estimate. The visit itself went fine, but I never received the quote. After a couple of days, I followed up by text to ask when I could expect it, but received no response. A frustrating waste of my time. If you're not interested in taking on a project, just say so. It's basic professional courtesy.

It turned out amazing and honestly better than we expected. Daniel was amazing to work with, very professional, responsive, and made sure that everything went smoothly start to finsih. He outlined our project scope, worked with us on the design and permitting, communicated any changes we needed, and sent tons of photo updates. The deck was also completed even sooner than our estimated timeframe which was the cherry on top. Couldn't recommend Daniel and his team more. The quality of the work, attention to detail, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We are even having them come back to work on other parts of the house! 11/10 experience.

So I give them a call to find out what's going on with the updated estimate, the co-owner tells me he is no longer interested in the job cause he's not gonna make enough money on the project. Not enough money, the audacity. This is not how a good trustworthy business operates. They should of let me know right away if they didn't want to do the job anymore. Instead they left wondering until I called them. Well I'll tell you what I'll spend my $19k with some other roofing company.

Fast forward I decided to pull the trigger and get my roof done with them. Tony came out gave me a fair and honest bid. I called another roofer and once again they did not return my phone call in a reasonable time, and when they did they couldn't schedule me in until a month out. Tony and his team literally got the job done in a day and a half. I was very happy with the work and the cost. Tony's very upfront if there is a problem he'll let you know. Some people might not like that but for me that's what I want in a contractor. Just tell me the truth even if I don't want to hear it, so I can make logical decision on what I want to do next. A month later I had an AC problem and found out that a roofing nail had hit my line set, which is the copper line that the refrigerant runs through. I called Tony to let him know and he sent out another contractor to fix the problem and took responsibility for the inconvenience. Thats pretty epic in my book. I honestly thought he wouldn't help but he stepped up and did. Thanks Tony you have a customer for life.
