We had 5 bids placed, and they weren't the most expensive, but they were definitely not the cheapest either. The salesman seemed knowledgeable and wasn't too pushy. The scheduling was pretty flexible and the communication was decent. However, the week the job started, the sales manager was out of town and didn't let me know. I had no contact person to determine how the job was going, and had no one sending pics or available to answer questions about possible damage and leaks from the previous roof that I had concerns about. I finally received an email (later in the week) from the owner minimizing my concerns and still not giving any contact info from someone actually on site. On Friday, he then lets me know (no call, just email) that the gutters hadn't been done because the machine broke, and would probably be the following week. I responded with guests would be there and we had limited time. The next day we see that men showed up to do the gutters (didn't tell me they were coming) with a rented machine. The final problem was Monday. I emailed the owner again and said I wanted to look over things before the final payment, and he said Monday was my last chance before the building inspector showed up, and I would have to be there early. So I took off work, drove up there for 9am and there was no one in sight. I got on the roof with my blower, only to discover the gutter guards were not installed. When the guys showed up about an hour later) I was told that I wasn't supposed to have them. I said check again, and then they realized their mistake. I also spent 45 mins blowing the roof and gutters off. I emailed the owner again asking for a phone call to discuss some issues, and he basically blew me off. I received a follow up call from the sales manager a few days later. He was apologetic, but also a little defensive when I pushed back on some of his arguments. There were no concessions made for the timing issues, missed items, or my time that was wasted. So, my take overall: roof install looks good, price was ok (on the high side), communication during the job was awful, and the customer service response post completion was poor.

(Because A.S. scared me with their original quote). They took pictures and confirmed my roof was in fine shape and then quoted me $333 for the gutters. I called like 2 others Tony was the 3rd. Ernesto responded within an hour and patched the leak. That was a sigh of relief because it rained pretty heavy again due to the atmospheric storm. Fast forward I decided to pull the trigger and get my roof done with them. Tony came out gave me a fair and honest bid. I called another roofer and once again they did not return my phone call in a reasonable time, and when they did they couldn't schedule me in until a month out. Tony and his team literally got the job done in a day and a half. I was very happy with the work and the cost. Tony's very upfront if there is a problem he'll let you know. Some people might not like that but for me that's what I want in a contractor. Just tell me the truth even if I don't want to hear it, so I can make logical decision on what I want to do next. A month later I had an AC problem and found out that a roofing nail had hit my line set, which is the copper line that the refrigerant runs through. I called Tony to let him know and he sent out another contractor to fix the problem and took responsibility for the inconvenience. Thats pretty epic in my book.
