If I could give this company a 10 star rating I would do it. I used Yelp to get an estimate from a local mover for a very small job of moving a bed box spring between two floors in our home. I also included a very detailed description of the work to enable responders to give me an informed estimate. I intended to wrap up the box spring to protect it during the move. MarSik Movers was the ONLY company that actually read the scope of work. (Seriously, other companies just through out bids like darts at a dart board.) The owner asked a few clarifying questions via email, and I sent him a few photographs for documentation. He was very responsive and the quoted price was fair and reasonable for the work that was involved. The other companies that responded to my request were either not local (being based in California), did NOT read the scope of work and gave me bids for work I didn't need done, or gave me ridiculously high bids because they didn't want the work or thought I must be desperate. They made me angry. Marsik Movers showed up on the intended day, were well prepared, were really conscientious and careful, and completed the work with little involvement on my part. They took great care in protecting the furniture. The process could not have been done more efficiently and smoothly. The two man team was professional and friendly. Money well spent. These guys were awesome! I found them on Yelp and they responded right away late at night on a Sunday for a move that upcoming Saturday. They were very nice and professional in their communication, and very quick to respond. They are also very inexpensive compared to other companies I talked to. On Saturday the movers were able to arrive almost an hour early which was great! They moved the stuff from my storage unit in Kent to my apartment in Seattle for a great price. The best moving service I have ever used! My family of 6 were moving from Maple Valley to Kent and needed assistance moving our bigger items along with a bunch of boxes. Just had a move with Marsik Movers a few days ago amidst COVID-19 and a neighborhood occupation surrounded by police barricades. The situation wasn't ideal but our move was surprisingly smooth. Mark and another guy in his crew were fast, courteous, and professional. Communication was really easy with Mark. We were given the arrival window of 9-10AM because of traffic but they actually arrived a few minutes before 9AM while keeping us updated the whole time. These guys were fantastic! I actually booked with another company and they were too busy to do the job so they sub-contracted with Marsik. Mark was great about communicating arrival time which I appreciated. They took great care to wrap all my furniture in plastic which is also great since it had been a bit rainy leading up to the day and I've made my mattress stained during a move in the past. They ended up having to take the legs off my couch to get it out of the house and were super speedy about that. The unload into a storage unit was just as great an experience as they took great care to carefully get all my things into a unit that was juuuuust the right size. Great service! They are extraordinarily fast - they moved a packed studio apartment in only 2.5 hours. The total is a 3 hour minimum with two guys, and we used the leftover time to construct the bed and our new island. Rate was $40 + $90/hour. There is a surcharge for using a credit card. We moved from a 1bdr/Studio on the fourth floor into a three story townhome, and the movers did not even pause for a breath. We were able to finish within 2.5 hours including a 20 minute drive. The remaining half hour the movers offered to make small adjustments to large furniture pieces and made sure everything was where I wanted it. My boxes and furniture used up a ridiculously small portion of their large truck. All furniture was blanketed, wrapped, and secured.
