The line is extremely long the three times I've been and thus it deters me from buying anything. The line does move and they usually have all 8 registers open. Number 8 was going many times faster than any other line. You could tell this as they keep saying lane 8 is available and it's like keeps blinking letting everyone know it's ready for the next guest. Number 8 checked us out and she was very efficient. They have lots of great deals. The sweater selection for women is huge. They have so many cute sweaters. I really wanted to get a couple. They also have a good food selection. Make sure you check the expiration date and make sure the item looks new. I saw some grinch hot chocolate bombs, some of the packages were old and were turning white from age. They also have a great selection of size small clothing with mixed items in there. The only thing they had in common was they were all size small. This rack is located near the entrance. It's next to the coat rack. They have high quality, yet expensive coats, Brands like north face. They also have some nice Sherpa Warriors/mickey blankets. They are around $25. They also have a good selection of winter pjs. Brands like Kate spade and juicy. Unfortunately the ones I wanted weren't in my size. These are located in the gift section next to the hats and scarves, not in the pj section. There was no line for the dressing room. My mother in law went in twice trying on a coat she loved, but didn't fit quite right. The bathroom was out of hand towels. A employee came in, but wasn't concerned that it was out. She even checked to see if you waved your hand under the dispenser to see if it worked. So many great deals, but the lines are unbearable. I would be more opt to shop if the lines were shorter. I really wanted those polka dot pjs by Kate spade. They even had my size, but it wasn't worth the wait in line. It was just too overwhelming.

I came here for Christmas shopping and pretty much found something for everyone!! I'm really not a shopper at all, so I'm not trying to be these stores too long if I can help it. But this store had a little bit of everything for everyone, and I was able to find multiple gifts for everyone. The line was long, what do you expect during the Holidays, but moved rather quickly. And I loved the deals I got for real!!! Located in the Marina Village Shopping Center, this Marshals was definitely on point for Holiday gifts!!

Definitely one of my favorite Marshall's in the area. It's generally very clean and well-maintained, with a lot of good and decent selections when it comes to items like skincare, makeup, clothing, and kitchen supplies, etc. I love all the deals that I get here. Plenty of parking in the Marina shopping mall, and it's a great place to come shopping.

33.8oz Joe Cookie Dough Coffee Syrup on clearance for $2

I came here Sunday afternoon and was shocked that there was still a lot in stock. It was almost as if they had not only somewhat organized the shelves but restocked the shelves as well. I was kind of expecting the place to be a mess and everything to be picked over. They had a ton of stuff on clearance. A lot of the stuff had been marked down multiple times like they were trying to get rid of all their old inventory. I found a few shirts and pants on clearance that I wanted but there were some really good deals in the non clothes clearance section. I picked up a SF Giants Spot It game for $2 and an Albert Einstein's Giant Atom Puzzle for $4. I think my best find might have been on the 12 pack The Original Donut Shop Iced Duos Cookies + Caramel K-Cup Coffee Pods for only $2 and they don't expire until 10/2025. They also had a bunch of various brands 33.8oz coffee syrup for $2 but I don't know who needs a bottle that big. None of these items were opened or damaged and they had multiples of these items as well. The only issue I had was the really long line. It was like everyone who entered the store found something they wanted to buy. Thankfully I was at the store with a few friends who also found some things they wanted to buy so it made waiting in line tolerable. My cashier was really nice and even apologized for the wait in line. If I was there by myself, I might have left without buying anything.

A step up from Ross - yeahhh... this is the place to go where you can brag to all your friends of your high nosed shopping. You are more likely to find something decent here than in other places. If you love to bargain hunt and sift through piles of stuff - this is your version of Disneyland. Security guards are ok here - they strike a good balance of making you feel as if your a criminal stealing and being there for keeping things kosher. Living in the bay its common to have the feeling that everywhere you go people look at you like a thief - well, all places except Trader Joes and Whole Foods. They are limiting patrons in the store. Social distancing enforced. All these kinds of buzz words that people eat up. I mean seriously - staying 6 feet apart and wearing a cheap paper mask isn't going to do anything to keep us safe but it makes us feel good.

One of my friends gave me a fleece blanket as a Christmas gift. I love it. I asked her where did she purchase it. I wanted to buy one for my husband. She mentioned Marshall's in San Leandro. Thus, my husband and I came to this Marshall's in search for one. What we were looking for was one with the SF 49ers logo. They had a fleece blanket with the SF Giants logo; we're Oakland A's fans. Alas, no such luck. We were somewhat disappointed. There is no such rating as a 2.5 stars. I am being generous in giving Marshall's a three star rating. It's all on the account that the female security guard who greeted us was friendly and helpful. I like the discounted prices that are offered on their merchandise, but the drawback is the items that are left on the floor or the clothes left unfolded. Ugh!! Then there are clothes that have fallen off the hangers and left on the floor. Some of the aisles had large items on the floor, which made it impossible to walk through. My husband said it looked like a war zone. I'm not sure if I wanted to laugh or cry over that remark. Return visit? Might, then might not. It's either a hit or miss.

4 days after Christmas..... Where's the new merchandise at?

Came in on 12/29/2020 at 6:00 pm. I stood outside in 39 degree weather but there was only one couple in front me. Got inside and there's lots of mark downs but primarily the stuff no one wanted to give as a gift for Christmas. There were also empty racks. I walked around the store to burn calories before doing an O. J. to my car due to the chill factor. I'll come back in mid January when they overstock the store again and exercise elsewhere in the meantime.

In the area and I decided to stop by Marshall's. It's been years that I last shopped here and I always found this store to have a large men's department and to be well stocked. Coming here on a weekday afternoon, parking was not an issue. But I remember that weekends at Marina Square can be challenging. The men's department is on the left side and it's still large as before, taking up most of that side of the store. With designer clothes in the front, there are racks of athletic wear, knits, long sleeves, young men's, outerwear, accessories, pants and clearance. The racks were full for each category. I was able to find two athletic shirts and was pleased with the reasonable prices on the Nike and Spyder shirts. Checking out, the line was about five deep and the wait was short. A successful shopping trip. I need to make this Marshall's a part of my regular shopping stops in the future.

The parking lot was packed. We were waiting for people to leave to get a spot. When we left there were several spots open in the back right side. If I recall correctly they have bathrooms, but you need the code. The line..... was to the back of the store. Extra long. They had most of the registers open so it kept moving, but it was long. It's always long, not like this. That is one thing I dislike about the store is the lines. They used to have remote checkouts. They would have kiosks throughout the store where you can check out on your own or with the help of an associate, but they don't have that anymore. Selection- We were here looking for clothing for our teenage nephews. We found two tops for one. Lucky and Quicksilver. Both really nice and after opening it on Christmas we learned that he approved. For the other nephew we got him pants. We picked out a nice pair of Addis sweatpants and he really liked it and they actually fit. The size smalls aren't all the same. He's got a tiny waist so it's hard to find him pants. Those Addis ones were the right side and fashionable. There was so much more we could have shopped for, but with the line to the back of the store we had to keep going and get out of there. I really liked there selection of clothing. I still find them pricy at times, but you can find really good deals too. The issue I have is most of the clothing is made for the Rack. They aren't discontinued or discounted regular Nordstroms clothing so you are getting what you pay for. And if you're ok with that then this is the store for you. I've gotten some really nice pieces here and so has my husband. I'd come back, but only when I had more time and it's not during the holiday rush.

I tried ordering it online, the online ordering was seizing up, the item said "in stock," so I thought it would be "in stock" if I walked in and bought it in-store. NOPE. Gone from the shelf. I was not familiar with any part of San Leandro, and no one EVER answers a phone in ANY California Walmarts in Customer Service (you'd die trying, with the phone ringing for the next 50 years). So I had to drive in. The parking lot is like a convention of the most depressing and depressed-looking people on Earth and everything just looked filthy. I think the inside of County Jail is cleaner. So I drove to another Walmart a 9 minute drive away, the one on Hesperian, hoping I wouldn't be met with the same nightmare; I wasn't. The Hesperian one was clean, the lines moved fast, and the shelves were well stocked. In this one on Davis, the impression is just chaos and anarchy in the entire store. The Hesperian one is still a Walmart (and God help anyone for braving any of them), but at least THERE (NOT HERE!) I was able to get what I came in for, and leave, within a short time.
