I used to come here way back when quite often, but I'm happy this mall is still here and open. I come here mostly for Mens clothing, which they have a lot of, rather it be casual or suits. They also have a good selection of dress shoes for men if you can find your size. The prices?? Well, they are decent, not as cheap as before, sometimes, you might be able to negotiate the price in some stores. Don't quote me on that though, if you know what I mean. I always see my folks in the jewelry section, so there's that. Located in East Oakland (Yeah, that's right), the larger parking lot is in the back, which I suggest since it's easier to get in and out of. Durant Square Mall doesn't seem to offer more than the obvious: -Goodwills -Foodmax -bingo -beauty salon -cafe -flea market vendors in separate building. operating times different, not the usual. offering: new style clothing, jewelry, software, hardware, wigs, anything someone wanted to sell. parking available in the back. read more

We all know durant is a culture thing. I still shop here for my gold earrings and nose rings. We know they only have like 6 stores but we shop here because we value the nostalgia. read more

Almost no stores in this "mall". Not sure if the air conditioning was broken or if it just wasn't on, but it was 100 degrees outside so it was ridiculously hot inside. Will not be returning. read more

Don't expect much from this place. As weird as it sounds, if you know what your looking for and know they have it then this is the spot for you. We've frequented the place for men's dress shoes mainly. They have just about every color Stacy Adams you can ask for. I went to the audio shop The one when you first walk in the front door. I Purchased the frame kit you use to install a back up camera I left went to another store got the same item for half price. So I came back with my receipt that clearly say you can exchange the merchandise within 30 days. I come back an hour later with in unopened kit. They would not give me my money back I had the receipt and an unopened item. The guy was very rude one of the guys pulled my receipt and tore it and the other guy said you don't know how to read English. They will not be opened long doing business like this and if you go to this mall do not spend your money with the audio stand. I have never been so mistreated in my life while trying to return in item. read more

If I were a pimp, I would totally shop here! You can find anything from bright green croc shoes to shiny wigs, grills for your teeth, and everything ghettolicious. I sometimes shop at Food Max and never checked out the mall until recently. There are quite a few shops with just the right things you are looking for if you're style is gangsta, hookah, or just wanting to stand out like a sore thumb. You can find pants that will expose you butt cheeks and all the accessories. If you're looking for a bright purple suit or any color under the sun, you will find it in this mall! read more

Seems a lot smaller then the previous years. My bf and I like stopping by here when we are in TOWN. They use to have a shop that sold really thick mens hoodies for like $25 that guy is gone and everything is pretty overpriced concidering its all mom n pop shops. But thats the only reason why my bf n I will pay those prices. To help support local businesses in Oakland. They definitely dont have enough customers to have cheap prices. read more
