The rest of the places were good even though the shoe didn't fit but the Pointe Shop was definitely the worst so I'd say avoid them if you can. We tried 2 Pointe Shops {Oakland and SF w/Josephine). At least the people in Oakland are genuine. The orange county one I am still waiting for them to send me a pair of shoes I ordered 4 months ago even though they said it would take 2 months (which in itself is bad) and I won't even talk about my daughter's fitting with Josephine. The Uniqlo team had an awesome fun grand opening weekend from Friday - Sunday. I went to the Friday and Sunday openings, and it was professional, fun, and well managed. I loved how the management partnered with a local groups for a Taiko performance and Ikuka baker from Los Altos for catering. The free merchandise was great from Japanese candies, tote bags, and Uniqlo knot bag. The store is well stocked with the latest collabs of one piece, mofusand, and more. Rocio answered, and she got me in so much faster than expected. She did a beautiful job on my highlights and is clearly very talented. I had surgery a few months ago and my hair had been coming out and I was scared to have anything done, but Rocio was welcoming and kind and helped me feel hopeful again. The salon was welcoming and friendly, you could tell as folks came in that everyone just loves being there. All the displays were done so nicely for holiday shopping. They had a huge variety of items and a section for stocking stuffers, which I thought was very clever. I also found some gifts to give for Christmas. The checkout line was very long. They did have five employees at the checkout, which made the line move fast. It had gotten heavily soiled and it would not have been able to fit into a regular sized washer. Thank goodness for this place because they do *full service* washing/ drying/ folding. They can clean your garments, blankets and anything else for you. All you need to do is drop off. Our King sized comforter was $26 to clean and the process was so simple. I walked in and went straight to the back to talk to the workers who said they could have it ready for me in 24 hours. Sure, it may have been pricey to do this but for the convenience and someone else taking care of it for you-- why not. As promised, I received a text the next day to come pick up. I came in and the comforter was bagged up, ready for use again. When I opened up the bag and saw that the comforter was pristine, I was impressed. Highly recommend this spot if you want to do full service. Definitely coming back if my washer/ dryer (fingers crossed they don't) break down and I need a place to come do laundry.
