As I pull up to the parking lot, all my wallet can think is, "Oh here we go again." As my newly received credit card is already fading from overuse, I start to get the spending itch as I know I'm pulling up to great brands, great prices, and an amazing selection. Yes, I know I've reviewed this Marshalls already and have said about the same thing, but It's been a few months now, and I still love it. The floor is still clean, clothes still fairly sorted in the right places and sizes, and the selection is still great. Found a pair of jeans that are normally priced at $50 on clearance for $10. I'll take that, thank you! Also, being the sunglass whore I am, found a couple cute shades for pretty much the same price I would have paid at the swapmeet for some non-namebrand suns. Probably good my sister was with me, or I probably would have walked out of there with close to six pairs of shades instead of just two. read more

my shopping experience was terrible for starters checking out was awful the cashier had a terrible attitude made me feel very uncomfortable because she was very rude and didn't even want to scan my rewards card, the supervisor was no help either. Use to be my favorite Marshall's. Terrible experience yesterday. Your houseware manager is either a con artist or f*ing lazy. Clearly doesn't know his product!! Asked for a price check on a 4 pack of stemless wine glasses. None of the four packaged identical items were priced. He (houseware mgr.) tells the cashier to charge $19.99, without checking. Cashier has shitty attitude and abruptly asks me yes or no. Followed with you want it or not!! Same f*ing thing. I tell him why would I pay more, when the price is $3.99 each, do the math (what an idiot). So, I decide to find this manager who tells me that each glass costs 4.99, again without checking. I respond to him that you should know what each individual glass costs. He finally checks to find he was in error. What a waste of time. The issue was resolved by the Operations manager, who is an excellent and professional individual. Lizette and many others deserve 5 stars!! For all the good people that I've known at this store, does not tip the balance of the indecency I experienced yesterday. Your insipid houseware manager should be ashamed. This is my new place to buy kitchen gadgets. They have a great selection and the prices are decent. I did buy a green Italia "non-stick" green fry pan set for about $15, but they were only non-stick for about two uses. On the other hand, the knives I found were not only cute, but razor sharp and well-made. They also have a whole wall of gourmet food products. read more

The Bixby Area is my favorite part of town. My post office box is there, all three of my banks are there, it is nicely walkable and can be reeelly purty in some parts. I was more of a Ross chick as opposed TJ Maxx or Marshall's, but every time I have to come to this shopping center to do business, I must stop in to see what I can find. I have too many shoes and not looking to wantonly fill my wardrobe any longer. I've gone through decades of fashion; hats, coats, shoes bags...all of it. Even when I had to wear a uniform to work, I still felt the urge of my female instinct to stockpile shit in the name of fashion. But sometimes you find some things that you just cannot pass up. I stopped in today as I was looking for one item to go with another piece at home that I have yet to wear. (You all know you have stuff in your closet with the tags still on, too) Though they had many pairs of beige capri pants in stock, none suited my taste to wear under a dress that is way too short for my old ass. So I made made my way to the Junior department to check out t-shirts. (Oh yeah, I get t-shirts from the boys department as well, size 16 I'll buy a men's small t-shirt if it is interesting and will shrink a bit upon washing.) Once I found a vintage Cleopatra Jones t-shirt from a Ross store. I snatched it up. Today I came across a vintage Jacksons 1984 Victory Tour t-shirt. Michael in the forefront, jheri curl and all. The ladies at the checkout seemed shocked that it was on the rack and one went looking for another one for herself. Now that is what I call a shopping score! However, I am not so vintage that I will wear it in public. But it makes a good match for a pair of pajama pants I bought as well. Ha! Also, I collect those large 99c shopping bags as well. They no longer carry the one with the purple shoes all over it and you wil have to pry it from my warm dead hands. Once those hand get cold....someone else will most have likely beat you to it. read more

This marshalls is awesome! I usually go to the one in seal beach but since I work so close to this one I figured I might as well check it out. In my experiences here the store has always been clean, semi-organized ( as much as you can be for a busy retail store) and staff is always helpful and friendly, especially the dressing room girl. The selection here is similar to the seal beach location, which I like. Recently they've had a really good clearance selection which is great! It's never super crowded so usually I can move around the store comfortably. read more

I love this Marshalls! So close to home and I am so addicted! Sure, it's more expensive than Ross, but the quality of the merchandise seems a bit better too. They seem to have almost everything and the staff is always friendly. They also always keep their inventory fresh and you can be sure to find something new every time you go there. The store in general was quite clean. The associates here where, in general, very polite and friendly; if this was all I had to say, I would have given the store a five star rating. Unfortunately it's not. when I was helped at the registers by the ungodly cashier named Kate. Throughout the entire transaction She was inappropriately rude and made me feel uncomfortable. She spoke in a derogatory manner. She talked to another customer while she was helping me. When I asked for a price check she ignored my request and continued to make jokes and laugh. When she was done, she told me It was rude of me, her customer, to interrupt her. I don't know if she has a lazy eye or something, but she didn't make eye contact with me. It seems like this associated need to learn how to treat the customer in a polite civilized Manner. She must have been hired as one of those mentally challenged workers. Her disabilities don't excuse her actions. As I was leaving she told me to have a, "wonderful day," her voice droped a couple octives, her eyes turned red and she gave me a demonic smile with those awful lazy eyes. I came to the ultimate conclusion that this asscoiate must be the antichrist. I prayed that night to my savior that no customer would have to go through that beasts ever again. I came in the store the next day with my crucifix and holy water to protect me from the beast. I was prepared to have a spirtual war with the demon vessel, kate. My lord must have been with me, because I was helped by another cashier. Marshalls need to eradicate that demon and send her back to the pits of hell were she belongs or ross. Love this place OMG I was in shopping heaven, I love that the shoes and shoe sizes are easy to find It's my first time coming here and I'm very impressed, the products are good quality and the prices are cheap!! The cloths selection was pretty good a lot of high end brands. Everything from tops, dress, p[ants size are easy to find. The only down side is that it doesn't have a huge selection of accesesories, they have a few hats, scarves and the cashmere blend socks that I went crazy for really they were a good deal 2 for $5.99 read more

This location is highly organized and clean. The staff is never rude and always busy keeping the shelves and racks looking presentable. I find everything here like doggie bags, kitchen supplies, small electronics, and quality clothes. I always panick when I see the Holiday decorations but Marshall's is always on point with their arrangements. The Dressing room is small but clean. The aisles are wide and clutter free. Marshall's is by far my favorite discount retail store because the products are always cared for properly unlike Ross which looks like a Tsunami just hit everytime I visit. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! The store manager Terrie gave us horrible customer service. I went to return the merchandise with tags and receipt. she was the one that I spoke too when I first walked in. I advised her it was from a different store she saw my receipt and told me to she would hold on to my merchandise. I didn't find anything so went back and she told me NO she couldn't return it but I heard the cashier tell her it was over $100 dollars. Since when is that true!?! when I have my original receipt. She should not be a manager if she's unable to assist with something so simple as a return. I will not be shopping at Marshall's no more. read more

I loooooves me a bargain and this place is full of them! As with most clothing stores they never have a huge selection of stuff to fit my oVeRsIzEd self. But every once in a while I find some gems. I always find great deals on dress socks though. Great selection of kitchen goods. I just scored a sweet French Press for under $10. Score!!! Towels,sheets,holiday items,toys,shoes,clothes! LOVE IT!!!! I bought my sister the cutest blouse ever!!! She wore it to school for the 1st day and she said everyone was asking her where she got it and that she looked really cute. They have a wide variety of shoes too!!! I am loving the houndstooth heels they have on sale for $30 right now! They are so cute!!!! There are two things they can work on though, their backpack selection. Most of the backpacks they have are for little kids or are very manly bags... and the purse area doesn't have nice backpacks large enough to fit books... and another thing they can work on is to have a jewelry section. A watch section is a plus! Other than that... I LOVE this place, if I could shop here every day I would!!! read more

I went here looking for some luggage for an upcoming trip and this was definitely the best place to go! I checked Walmart, Target, Ross, and none of them had as good of a selection as this Marshalls! I definitely lucked out, great selection and great prices. read more
