The Shopping Center is filled with a lot of great stores, and the variety adds up. Traffic for the most part was a bit stressful, moving around and finding a parking spot. Although that's not the main concern, it is well maintained. However, the main signage needs to be addressed on the board, as some big businesses are not named on it, for example, Papa Gino's, as I got lost finding it, along with other names. I saw some empty spots, so I hope it gets updated. A lot of great names to stop at here.

Amazingly, there was no waiting line and the employees were very efficient about processing my return. I appreciated the prompt, efficient service. I also saw the signs advertising the "sensory friendly" hours, from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. that Walmart is now offering every day. I was thrilled to learn about this special service for shoppers, and I certainly wish that more stores would offer these benefits. Many people--including those with autism and migraines--will enjoy shopping at this time. In a world where "unplugging" can be so hard to do, I appreciate that Walmart is making an effort to help reduce the sensory overload problem. Perhaps this will be the start of a new trend in retailing; I hope so!

I gave him two gift cards and explained I didn't know how much was on them. He scanned one didn't say a word to me. It had $50 on it which he applied. He then scanned the other one which didn't have anything on it and again he didn't say anything to me just processed the transaction. Customer facing employees should have some skills AND a personality.

I like coming here during the holidays, to fill gift baskets or get cheap decorations. They have online coupons and offers now, too. This location is the best if you want to try out a gluten-free product or fancy snack without paying a lot of money. Also, the best assortment of Bob's Red Mill products at great prices. Anything you might get at Walmart or Target for winter (shovels, snowmelt, scrapers) or spring (gardening, planters, bird feeders) you can get at Ocean State for much less. Here's my take: over the past 10 years, small gift shop like Terrazza have disappeared, closed because of online shopping and specifically Amazon. I LOVE a great gift shop and love poking around enjoying the beautiful displays, and products you really only find in a store like this. I live in CT where most stores like this have shuttered so when both daughters moved nearby Franklin, finding this was the best surprise. Is it priced higher? Well it's a small business so that might be true. Is the staff "watchful"... I've experienced this and I don't take offense as they're protecting their investment. If they followed me the entire time, I'd never return as I don't like that but it's been subtle. The customer service comments I understand. And appreciate. Their return policy isn't particularly lenient but again it's a small business trying to survive in a world of internet shopping. However how many times do you buy something online on Etsy or amazon and it's not quite what you expected or wanted? ... there's nothing better than seeing the item in person, touching it and holding it. One reviewer's comment on the registers and gift wrapping....I'm sure if the owner (s) were aware of that, it wouldn't happen again . I got a few minor electronic items that are a great deal. Yes Dollar Tree is cheaper, but sometimes they don't have the name brands nor the selection that TJ Maxx would have. I also think the quality of these small electronic items is better here.
