Traffic for the most part was a bit stressful, moving around and finding a parking spot. Although that's not the main concern, it is well maintained. However, the main signage needs to be addressed on the board, as some big businesses are not named on it, for example, Papa Gino's, as I got lost finding it, along with other names. This Marshalls in Franklin Village looks like it's on its final breath--honestly, I've seen…read moregoing-out-of-business sales that looked better organized than this mess. Marshalls stores are notoriously chaotic, but this location takes the cake for being a complete disaster zone. Shelves are bare in spots and overloaded in others, racks are crammed with wrinkled, mismatched clothing, and items are strewn across the floor like a tornado just passed through. The store layout feels like an afterthought, with no sense of order or upkeep, and the entire place has an abandoned, depressing vibe that screams retail death spiral. To make matters worse, the staff seemed equally disinterested--more like they were counting down the minutes to closing time rather than assisting customers or maintaining even the bare minimum of tidiness. This place feels like a liquidation sale waiting to be announced, and at this rate, it might be doing everyone a favor. Skip it--there are better-managed Marshalls elsewhere, or better yet, shop literally anywhere else.

Plainville Commons is a decent sized shopping center built about 13 years or so ago…read more It's located off of Route 1 in Plainville, right by the Wrentham town line. It's located south of the intersection at Route 1 & Route 152, and right off I-495 (exit 14) for Rt 1 towards Attleborough. Main point, it's in a convenient location. While it's not as large as it probably should have been built (especially with the casino across the street now....), it has some decent stores and an ideal setup. The parking lot is large, spread out and perfect for this type of complex. Sometimes a back up occurs at the beginning of one of the closest parking lanes, but it's never too much of a problem. Only complaint with parking is that Chili's NEVER has enough parking. Getting in and out of here is also easy. They recently replaced the traffic light at the intersection of the plaza and Taunton Street, and made it even easier. The flow of traffic is actually surprisingly good and much better than most other shopping centers I can think of. That being said, this area isn't nearly as busy as where most other big-box shopping centers. This shopping center consists of: Chili's Target Stop&Shop TJ Maxx / HomeGoods Sleepy's (or Mattress Firm now?) Panera (and possibly something else I'm forgetting) Good place to stop if you are in the area, or looking for some shopping after winning big at the casino across the street! Only real complaint about the shopping center is that it's so spread out that other buildings could be built to make it bigger, better, and more of a destination. There aren't too many stores in this complex currently! 3 stars.

Good little shopping plaza on Route 109 in Milford…read more Includes one big department store and a bunch of small stores and eateries. Never crowded. Only complaint (-1 star) for exit. SUPER dangerous turning left on 109 at one exit and the other has a no left turn sign!!!! Put a traffic light here!!! Some of Milford Plaza's finds are: -- Kohl's -- Town Fair Tire -- Sally Beauty Supply -- Panera Bread -- Papa Gino's -- Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft -- Radio Shack (closing next month though!) -- Applebee's and more. UPDATE : Early 2017 Recent renovations to the entire aesthetics of this building are great. They have completely renovated the look of all the storefronts (thank goodness.... they hadn't previously done any work since the 70's!). Parking lot has been completely re paved (also used to be bumps EVERYWHERE) and the layout of the lot is new and much more efficient. Good progress. Nice to see Milford getting better and more decent retail centers.

If you need some pretty updates to your wardrobe and want more than your typical chain store clothing choice, run don't walk to this store!
