They have shoes, bags, accessories, anything a gal needs in a wide range of sizes. In other words, it's not 10 year old Missoni in size 4 masquerading as a consignment shop (and I WORSHIP Missoni). If you are larger than a 10, you will find plenty of options here. There is also a small selection of men's clothing. Juniors or women who like to think they are juniors, this store is not for you. This is a shop for women who don't mind admitting they are over the age of majority. Clothes are arranged by type and by size, so if you're looking for a jacket, there is a section for jackets, skirts, etc. I was tempted by the most buttery soft ultra suede skirt in a light purple. But then I remembered, I'm only buying black and white anymore. I didn't rate this store higher because the sales clerk (who I know is not the owner) did not greet me or make any effort to engage me when I came into the store. In fact, it felt like she was avoiding me. When customers walk into a store, it's customary to say "hello, are you looking for something special"? Don't walk behind the counter as though I'm not there. I wasn't even rockin' the nose ring; but I'm not inclined to return when there are so many other options. ( As an aside, I've walked into Nordy's looking like crap on a tray and I've still gotten stellar customer service). I just happened to see the big consignment sign near the street on Lancaster Ave as I was driving by and I made a "U" turn. I didn't know it was Charmingly Linda's, but I'm glad I found it again. This is a nice store. It is not glamorous (though I think they are trying). The clothes are down to earth clothing, not much stuff for the younger crowd. Mostly they stock women's clothing, shoes, bags, accessories. They have a very small men's department. When I was there they had a huge selection of Vera Bradley bags. It is hit or miss. One thing many may not know is that Linda's husband sells things on E-bay. With the population aging, there are more and more people who need this service. I will go back from time to time cause I like to see what's there. I've gotten slacks, tops and a raincoat in the past. Best of luck thrifting.

I had three excuses to check it out: 1) I had stuff to donate. 2) I've been "low key obsessed" with the brass orbs showcased in Dr. Orna Guralnik's office (reality TV show). My past vintage brassware has come from thrifting so I wanted to see if I could find anything. 3) Have been sucked into Homeworthy and my mom/g-mother taught me young how antique dealers and designers generate their best finds by estate clean outs, trash picking and thrifting so I got the bug. YouTube is full of feedback that thrift stores have gone off the rails with prices and sell anything good on eBay so the stores are left with junk, so I was wary. This store is mostly clothes, and it was odd because almost all the customers were back in housewares/other goods. I've never had a good experience thrifting clothes so I don't thrift for clothes. The customers were a weird mix of a family speaking a Slavic language, a senior man very seriously rummaging through everything, a couple younger men seriously rummaging through everything, a group of teens, and an older woman. I didn't see anything close to a designer find or collectible as was commonplace at thrift stores 15+ years ago. It was truly a lot of junk, I'm sorry to say. The best deals I found were bags of about 5-6 authentic Barbies for $5 to $7 though they're the new (cheap quality) ones whose legs don't bend. I saw some Fisher-Price Little People which is too young for my son. Didn't see Imaginext but it was messy so I didn't look that hard. My son found a toy truck he wanted that was $5 and a plastic helicopter for $3, which were very reasonable (though we have a gluttonous number of vehicle toys and do not need more). I felt toys were fairly priced. House goods were okay. I always look at Pyrex and a square glass casserole was $5, which is okay, not great. Not a whole lot of useful stuff, mostly low quality decorative items. It's a shame that what is produced as clothing, furniture and home goods today is just complete garbage, and it doesn't even last long enough to make it to a thrift store. People go there looking for vintage from 80's or older and you really need to go to a consignment store or thrift boutique where items are discerningly curated rather than donated. But those stores charge stupid prices and the associates are rarely down to earth. Thrifting used to be such a cool adventure but unfortunately it's not what it used to be. I feel good about my donation though; kid bikes, plant stand, and a bag of other useful stuff that someone out there needs more than I.

Once I walked it I was taken back back by the set up ( it's just a lot of uniforms) I was greeted by Hanley who was just the sweetest and helped us get what we needed, recommend sizes and was very patient as my indecisive child was picking out hair supplies. Although my bank account was not happy, I was pleased with the customer service and that fact that I was in and out in minimal time with everything we came for even a matching headband :)

I do not understand why men needed to be in the dressing room - no men's clothes are sold here. If your SO is trying things on then you can stand just outside the door and she can show you things. None of the staff did anything to help me or to tell these men to get the hell out of a women only space. In fact one staff member encouraged a man to enter the dressing room. I was totally floored. The lady working was very friendly and not overbearing at all. She told us the history of the store and the owners which I always love to hear. My boyfriend was with me but its always nice to have an opinion from a lady too. I tried on two dresses. The first dress I tried on was a pink and blue dress (the one I really wanted) and it was very flattering. I tried on a second cute, multiple colored dress that my boyfriend picked out and I wasn't crazy about the way it looked on me. The lady who worked there didn't try to talk me into buying it and gave my her honest opinion which I thought was great! I ended up getting the gorgeous pink and blue dress and a cute watermelon colored cover up for the beach season. I only spent $87 total for good quality clothes that I know hardly anyone else will have ;) I will most definitely be back frequently!! side note: the lady working told me the dress i bought came in yesterday and they sold 3-4 in just over 24 hours! The owner/operator is there and attentive to everyone who walks in without hovering or rushing you about, which I appreciated. I found this place on Yelp bc it was the only women's clothing store in walking distance of Trolley Square, and I had a clothing malfunction that required the urgent and immediate need for new bottoms. There were no reviews, so I'm leaving this one since a) I walked out with a new and cute outfit plus three incredibly low-prices layering shirts all for just $110, b) it was open on a Sunday afternoon, c) I received good customer service, and d) there were clothes in my size, and e) it is the most sophisticated shop I've seen in this part of Wilmington.
