Marshall's is one of those stores where there are things that you know they will have and also a place where you can find surprising items. I walked into this store recently and after browsing through the home section and mens' section, I noticed a Pop Up portable Stool...what an invention ! This stool was designed with a fish scale structure and a modified plastic material that supposedly gives the stool remarkable strength and rigidity. Load capacity reaches 250 lbs. The stool is about two and a half pounds with dimeter of about 10 inches. The stool can be adjusted to heights ranging from 2.5 to 17.5 inches. What a fun gift for someone...or....for those loving camping, tailgating, etc... The store itself is an older Marshall's and it could use a refresher or re-decor, but still, it has a lot of the great deals we all love...... read more

Terrible the store was messy. They didn't have any of the things they showed online. An if you have to return the manager is very nasty and rude and yes I had my receipt, It was just she was in a hurry. Also they are stocking shelves when your trying to look. August 2018 I called a Marshalls telling that their manager was being physically aggressive towards me, raising her voice and talking to me like I was a crimmal in the discount aisle at Marshall's at the Westgate Mall in Brockton sprayed a product, that was previously opened like most of the products in the discount aisle are, missing caps, half full etc. Although other wyte women were doing the same thing she came up to me demanding I buy the product or put it down. This is after I caught her in the corner of my eye every second I was in the store.She said it so aggressively I had to ask her who she was talking to. I put the product down and instinctvly moved away from her and toward my boyfriend hoping he was recording this encounter.She grabbed the product with such force there was a loud bang and the heavy display swayed. When I called to complain I was told the manager would never be racist , why Annabelle had a black husband! The regional manager I called Tabitha, had a black husband too and she just knew in her heart she not the store manager was racist! She nor Anabelle had a racist or aggresive bone in their body. After calling another superior I was told I could shop in the store with a $50 gift card if I wanted to hear the racist women's apology. They told me they weren't allowed to disclose if Anabelle was ever reprimanded. I was unable to hear that fake apology I would have been given because I was sick but lo and behold when I did make it to the store, Annabelle was there in her racist glory following me around the store and mean mugging me. I never spent another penny there and hope other won't either. read more

Stopped in with my Fiance. We were shopping in the area all morning and he wanted to get a new suitcase for trip we're taking. This place has definitely cleaned up. It was much neater and we bought a great suitcase, too! They had tons of great purses! I bought two! And, yes! The shoe department was all cleaned up and neat! They didn't have many women's clothes. This store is so GLOOMY. Gloomy, dark, messy, small are some of the words that appear when thinking about my experience in the terrible Brockton Marshalls last night. The store is nowhere near as great as other Marshalls (the Marshalls in Canton and Braintree are both much better), with a smaller, more condensed selection of everything and a congested crowded area in the back of the store, where the ceiling is 7 feet high. Staff aren't rude, yet weren't overly friendly and somewhat confused about where some things were in the store. The kids section was extremely bland, barely any books or art "stuff", men's clothing- very picked over, and not ONE iPhone 6 case. I visited here once before, near the opening of the store, when it was still awful. It's not getting better people. The Brockton Marshalls is not a place to set out and shop. It just DOESN'T work. Go to other Marshalls stores or nearby TJ Maxx in Stoughton (much better store!!). Don't bother here! read more

11-10-17 I had put A lay way on I went back to get the lay way I had put on. It was gone all put away someone who was working there took the entire lay way apart. spoke to the manger who is some older lady who was ok not her fault but all she could say was well sorry!!! So pissed off I spent hours picking out all those cloths @ I was looking forward to having all my new cloths. This marshals wouldn't take back a dress that I bought at a different location because they didn't recognize the company that the dress came from . Such bad customer service and the lady was so rude to me. If I didn't have things I LOVED in my hand i would have walked right out. What happened to the customer is always right. I will just go to the canton location instead next time. read more

Worst service ever! Waited 10 minutes to cash out. Totally disorganized.

The lines here are always so backed up they need more people on the registers. I've never waited less then 20 minutes in line.

Worst Marshall's. Selection is so limited and the place is just a mess. There is never anyone on the floor to help, waste of space should b shut down. read more

Awfull. Everytine i come i to this store i am in line for 20 min. 1 or 2 registers open as employees walk around the store and people who want to come in for 1 or 2 items have to wait long periods of time in line. Customers time is precious and i have walked out and have seen others put there stuff down and walk out becasue people with busy schedules don't have time to wait in long lines. More help is required at this location. read more

I Just like to tell everybody that shop here at Marshall in Brockton MA, worst nightmare ever, customer service is worst ever, I been in the local business for over 10 years and so far I was treat it so poorly that after I got to the cashier the manager start fighting with me, Everything start after filling up the shopping car and spending over 2 hour over picking up my clothes That I need it to go away I found the last bathing suit that fit me. I did try it on, then when I was paying the bathing suit but was miss match and I was ready to buy it like that, and the service girl was very nice and kind and told me the issue about it, I was able and willing to get it like that. But everybody that work there even the manager Jim, start fighting with me, He wasnt allow to sell me the item like that cause was store policy, By the way my bill was over 400 hundred dollars and the bathing suit was 19.99. My Husband spoke to him about it even thou the manager prefer to lose a sale he didnt try to help me at all. He call a service staff to find the other part for the bathing suit with no luck, I was so humilliated and angry, that I didnt know what to do, my husband try to tell the manager wont be issue, but no luck. He wont sell it no matter what i do. He told me he prefer to sell the item on clearence for cheaper price separate a week later. How a store like this can do any business when the customer want to spend money in this economy, I don't get it. When I was in the managment business, I did try to make all customer happy and went above and beyond for everybody to matter what the case was, instead of gaining a happy customer, I gain a friend and extra business for life. I hope MARSHALL can do something about this matter cause I really enjoy the product but I will be very sad for the city closing more stores down everyday. Also the people that work there should appreciate they have a job and should be happy of that, I can go on forever but I hope you got the idea of this very bad review, I even thou I went back in to see if the manager changed his mind, He didn't even apologized to me, Im very disappointed read more
