DON'T COME TO THIS STORE. Employees can treat you however they want with no consequences, even in front of children. Bernadette at the self check out is absolutely RUDE and condescending. She has the biggest attitude. She had to check the price on an item that had no bar code. I was holding up the product so she can see what it is. She said in an attitude aggressive way, "are you going to let me have the bottle or not?!" That was the very First thing she said to me. Not "hi, how can I help you". Not "can I see the product?" I don't know why they hired her for customer service. She is AWFUL. I was there with my 11 year old daughter who was happy to buy her doll, but this experience ruined her day and mine. I tried to complain to the manager, but instead they sent Nate, a coach, to talk with me. He was nice and said he'd talk with her, but it's ridiculous that there isn't a store manager concerned about how their customers (including children) are treated. I have a feeling she probably talks to customers like this all the time, but it was very disappointing for me because my 11 year old daughter was there, but Bernadette didn't care. Bernadette was raising her voice and talking in a condescending way, and even other customers noticed how she was treating us. This store is horrible when ordering home delivery, and they are delivered by Spark drivers. My mother is 84 years old, and disabled, and has had her order cancelled 3 times in a row because the Spark driver says they attempted to deliver but couldn't. They're lying. My mother has been waiting near the door each time, with the necessary code, and no driver has come to her door. In fact, one driver pulled up to her house, looked at her, pulled into her driveway, turned around, and drove away. The service has been horrendous, but my mother has no choice but to keep ordering because she is disabled, and can't get the store herself. Fix your issues. read more

Horrible store. Every line is 50 feet long because of incompetent workers. Every time I go... I say to myself "why did I go there again" If you love potato chips , soda,chicken feet, pig ears, and plantains, this is the store for you. Also the Goya section is 3 isles. Walmart is the store we all love to hate. It has cheap prices and some dreadful employees and rotten produce. Walmart destroyed the mom and pop stores and now they have a monopoly and can do whatever they want. Customer service is unreasonable. This place is literally a joke. Not a single aisle was organized and this place was packed on a Tuesday night. At a Walmart super center as big as this one, we would've expected more than three registers opened when there are lines out the door just to get in. We waited 30 minutes just for a cashier to ring us up. He was super slow and did not enforce customers behind to wait to load the convey belt like other supermarkets do. Went to buy a laundry basket with my son and his service dog whom he was holding. Was yelled at by employee about making sure we sanitize anything the dog touched (mind you i get were in a pandemic however he wasnt touching anything he was in my sons arms) my son was so upset and felt like he was going to get in trouble and felt very uncomfortable. i will never be coming back here! the lines are extremely packed on a monody evening, when i accidentally dropped all the red folders in front of at least 5 people they didn't bother to help and stepped on the folders like nothing is happening. when i told a lady she can go first when we were stuck, she got mad and went to the other way and said very bad things about me and my family even tho we did NOTHING wrong to her. i will never be coming back here again, the stuff is very in organized and there's nothing here i want. you shouldn't be wasting your time here there are 100% more stores you should be buying off of. i recommend not coming here. read more

Also, I worked here for Christmas season in 2003. Customer service has went downhill in the last few years. If you do not speak the employee's native language do not expect any help. It's extremely frustrating when the store is disorganized and you need help finding something. The employee's seem to care about being on their cellphone or socializing with eachother more than assisting a customer. Not to generalize, but this seems to be the trend in businesses that have a majority of employees that English is their second language. In a time when hard working people need jobs I find it rather disturbing that Walmart has these "people" representing their company values. This store needs a 90% staff overhaul. I can look beyond appearance of the store, but I cannot look beyond shitty customer service. Make the drive down to one of the Raynham stores for a much better experience, cleaner store, and helpful employees or just go to any nearby Target. This place is literally a fire hazard right now. They're doing construction and so afraid of losing money they literally have everything cramped as tight as can be. Empty carts litter the already too-skinny aisles. Lazy vendors leave their product in the way as well. Employees clearly don't care, or aren't paid enough to care, product is left all over the place instead of in its proper area. Parking is a nightmare. Why is this store even still open during construction? Note to management: The action aisle items should be REMOVED during construction. Put safety before sales! Because the spaces are tight in both the store and the parking lot, people tend to get in the way a lot more. This place is a death trap waiting to happen. Wow, worst Walmart location ever, hands-down! I realize the store is under construction but it was a mess. The bathrooms were nasty, broken toilet seats and door locks, toilets were either broken or not flushed and trash was full. Oh and it smelled gross. Many stores have employees check bathrooms frequently for these types of issues before it gets this bad! Entire aisles were shifted around due to the construction but not labeled clearly. Sections of the store that were away from the construction were disorderly and messy! I left without making a purchase. I realized I had forgotten my wallet! This Walmart sucks. But it's the closest near me. The workers are so rude it's like they hate their jobs. There's only limited cashiers open so the lines are so long it's even worse on the weekends! The workers here are so slow and everything is so disorganized!! The store is big but There's NEVER anything that's in stock. I wasn't sure if misplaced some of my things that I bought so I called hoping I accidentally left it there so I called and I was on hold for a 40mins!! They kept transferring me to different people?? Not a bad walmart. Decently sized with a lot of items I wanted in stock. The return line seems to be long, but the customer service associates work fast to get the line down. I also enjoy having the option to do self check out and not have to wait in line when I can do it myself. I took 2 stars away due to lack of stock in cosmetics and also due to a loud high pitch noise coming from one of the speakers in the store. It was very loud, and it was very annoying. I also like that this location has a Dunkin Donut inside of it, but did not really appriciate getting an eye roll when I got my free coffee today (Pats won) from the old women behind the counter. Pros: Big store and offers great and cheap prices on a lot of merchandise each and every single day. A lot of departments have a lot of merchandise to offer. Self Check out registers area is great making you to save time and avoid huge lines at registers. Electronics , Sporting Goods and Toys Departments are fun to shop around there. Parking lot is big. Located not to far from the highway. Some managers and some associates are nice and friendly but not all. Customer Service is mostly alright. Cons: It is not a 24 hour super center due to the cemetery located next to it and due to order of town of Avon. The bathrooms can be dirty a lot sometimes and barley clean during the day time especially men's bathrooms. Sometimes the customer service at the store in general takes a bit longer then expected. During the weekends and especially major holidays the lines at registers everywhere are huge and you can wait a looongggg time to be taken care of. Some of the announcers at the speaker at the store are a bit too loud and annoying at times when they announce important information such as closing of the store sometimes. Some associates and department managers during the day can be a bit lazy and take their time with help or not help at all by saying , i am sorry , i don't know , ask someone else , this is not my department area etc. some days depending on their mood swing situations. Overall: The store is mostly great. I do my shopping there almost all the time and i do work there over nights as a stocker/ mod team member recently. read more

This was my first visit to this Walmart location and I was impressed with how well stocked it was and the availability of so many much needed items. However, the customer service I received from one of the cashiers was somewhat lacking. After she had cashed me out, I asked her whether she could watch my cart while I went to the restroom nto which she agreed. In my haste, I forgot to remove the bags of paid items from the hangers. She was furious and snapped "you can at least put these in the cart". I was quite shaken at her attitude, took them off the hangers and wheeled them away from her. I didn't even go to Walmart store in Avon. Call Avon store, they tried to locate it. No, also the item not in their system. And they cant do anything about it. Contact Walmart.com. All they can do is refund my money. and asked me to order again while the price up to original $32... Also nothing they can do except just refund my money. My excitement it is like downfall to getting this item at the price to ground. Also wasted time to discussed with them about their system error. I had similar thing happen in K-Mart. I'm writing my review in regards to the new food section which I was shocked to see that since it was brand new it was such a nightmare. My husband and I have tried twice to use the deli and its the worst one we've ever been to. The first time it took over 20 minutes to get the 3 items we asked for and the second time we just walked away because the wait was ridiculous. They only had 1 person working and they had no clue what they were doing. Plus the rotisserie chickens were all burnt! Gross! The produce department isn't kept up with. Last time I went looking for fruits and vegetables they were bad. The strawberries were no good and the celery was long past expired, it was literally soggy and brown. The use by date said 5/21/14 and it was 6/4/14. They might want to get on that. Lastly, some of the workers there are rude, one cashier in particular. We recently bought a TV there and had a great experience in that department but to the girl that has an attitude and doesn't want to do her job, do us all a favor and quit! We've had the unpleasant experience of using this cashier twice now and the last time my husband couldn't control himself from saying something to her. We were excited to use this Walmart once the renovation was done but we've decided we're better off using another location cause every time we go here we have a problem. read more
