It's somewhat better than 2012, but still not that great of a shopping mall experience. It's pretty dead inside. Not an ideal place to open a business. Many stores have broken, or opened, merchandise. It's kind of sad.... read more

This mall has some good stores but not the safest one to be at tons of junkies and crazy people hanging around this mall

Just over the past year or two, this place has taken an extreme turn for the worse. Macy's, American Eagle, Fye, Hannoush Jewelers, Modells, AC Moore, even Subway have all closed completely over the last few years. Nothing really good has been added to the complex to accompany for the closures. With this turn, this mall is headed down the tubes (for lack of a better word). Sure, it still has Sears and Best Buy, but who knows how long either of those stores will be left. Sears has been closing left and right elsewhere and Best Buy has also closed some local stores. The Westgate Mall had something special going for it. Department stores that were awesome that weren't ever busy, which made them great. Now, they aren't busy because the stores aren't there. This is turning into a scene of nonsense. Stores coming in that don't fill a want, but are just there (like Fallas). The outer complex is fine, but something needs to be changed significantly for this place not to close down completely and then look like a soar thumb sitting in the middle of a somewhat retail extravaganza. Really upsetting with the recent results of this place. To only think, if Westgate Mall and Silver City Galleria has combined, the immense amount of closures in each of these malls probably wouldn't have occurred. Very sad and this mall has no high view by me anymore. I only go to Sears, there just is not need for me to go in the mall really anymore, which is sad, and why I liked Westgate in the first place. 2 stars. read more

This little shopping center has definitely made some improvements that was seriously needed. I love that they have the cinnamon bun factory located inside. This place is still very ghetto tho ‍ I will still drive 30 minutes just for the cinnamon bun factory inside. read more

Covid 19 Update Thursday June 25th. The mall was packed like a Saturday and about 95% of the stores where open including all of the reasturants. The only things that where closed where the really small stores, massage places and the playground/rides for the kids. read more

This is a pretty decent mall. The assortment of stores is very good. And I like that this mall has a Popeye's chicken since there are very few locations in this area. I usually make a point of stopping there for something to eat when I shop this mall. This mall is only one floor which makes it very easy to navigate. They have a good Best Buy store and I also like the Asian massage place that they have in the mall. read more

I think this mall is actually perfect! Never overly crowded, just enough stores and tons of parking! All around the mall now they have tons of new restaurants and tons are being built! They are trying hard to keep this mall open and I hope they do keep it open! There is two grocery stores, too. You can do everything you need to do in one stop! read more

Westgate is a good mall. It may not have all the selections of shops but it provides the residents of brockton and surrounding areas with a good variety. It is clean. They have a dunkin donuts, a few selections of places to eat, a playground area for kids etc.. I have taken my nephews and niece to play and visit the mall since they were little and it is safe. It is honestly offensive when other customers call it guetto or that there are screaming kids just to degrade the place, the residents and the city. read more

This ain't even a mall it's filled with screaming kids and dirty food samples. It's dirty and I never feel safe parking my car in the lot either. The hours suck here also. read more

I like this mall it is not just in door but it also has an outdoor plaza and other stores. It is a good workout to walk out the entire mall from outside. It has Burlington coat factory, Aldi, Sears, Planet fitness, Dicks Sports, Market Basket, Walmart, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jo ann fabrics, Chick fil a, Best Buy, Dunkin Donuts, Marshalls, Pop eyes Super cuts "got my eyes shaped and very satisfied" etc ...etc... There is also a bowling alley with an arcade. I have not even mentioned them all. I say if you love to shop and do allot of walking this is the mall. read more

Nothing outstanding. Just a regular suburban mall. But they get major Kudos for having a rainbow shop here!

I will always remember the Westgate Mall from my youth. I am posting this review because I am so impressed at the mall is still standing and running. I know people are saying it's depressing and nothing like it was in the 80s like when I shop there, so I wanted to make a post while I had a chance. The current Weiss's used to be a George's Foodliner. there was also a Hickory Farms store where you could buy sausages and delicious candy. I remember shopping often at McCrory's, which was like a five and dime. I believe that is where the current Rite Aid is now. I remember Record City where I bought cassette tapes. I love Waldenbooks where I could always get a Nancy Drew book or a Sweet Valley High book. There was a Kinneman's music store where my mom first took me for piano lessons when I was 7 years old. at the Westgate Mall I first sat on Santa's lap and he gave me rock candy and seem to know just what I wanted for Christmas. I also love the Candy Carousel where I often bought Swedish berries and lollipops. My mom used to shop at Alice Kay where they sold women's clothing. She took my brother and I to Klymer's Carousel for our clothes. Half the floor was carpeted in blue and the other half in red. Blue for boys and red for girls. Last but not least I remember Cargo West where I would go and eagerly buy scratch and sniff stickers which were a huge hit in 1984. of course I remember Hess's department store on the end which I know became a Bon-Ton later. this review is more of a nostalgic blast-from-the-past than a current one as I don't live near the mall anymore. but I remember it so fondly that I felt the need to post a review based on the past and on the fact that the mall is still running. I also noticed that the floor has been redone in the mall and looks really nice. When I shop there it was just moved over cream colored cement. read more
