The Whole Foods Market is definitely a huge treat for me to walk around then hit it last to find something to cook or snack or enjoy their most tastefully and expertly decorated baked items along with lots of breads to choose from. So Derby Street Shops is like a one stop shopping place. I like that and go home with everything I needed and wanted.

The parking lot was huge and had no problems finding a spot. After my massage I walked over to Marshall's to look around. Then after that I walked over to the Shaw's grocery store and picked up a few items for dinner. It was a nice clean well stocked store. The produce looked great. the layout of the entire plaza is so spread out and detached from one another -- there are at least…read more5 parcels of retail areas that are separated by traffic -- making it too exhausting and even dangerous to walk around on foot (and it's outdoor!), but it's ridiculous to store-hop on wheels. maybe they design it for the "1 destination, in and out" shopping style? if so, then they are quite successful. but even the traffic flow layout it's just plain ridiculous, bordering on hazardous. in an attempt to prevent speeding, stop signs and raised dividers are everywhere, which is fine by itself. but the overall design just makes one feel like they're in a corn maze, making stops and turns every 3 seconds. going from Washington Street to Shaw's averages just about 13 turns/stops. landscaper needs to be fired as well. why are tall grasses placed so strategically that one would almost think that they did it on purpose just to block drivers' sight line for oncoming traffic? not like they have something against car insurance company... maybe it's just me, but for the number of times i come here, that's bc i know there's a store i need/want to visit. with the current layout, there isn't much chance to wander around to "see what's there". you must know where you need to go coming in, and you won't realize that some shops have existed no matter how many times you've been here.

As long as Braintree doesn't decide to tear down all the parks and create gazillions of apartments this should be a must shop place to go.

Two major entrances, one of which has a traffic light. You could also sneak out by the fast food place or out the back past Shaw's. It is a short walk to the T station but don't be tempted to park here for the T. They have signs posted that you'll be towed.

It's layout, however, is somewhat confusing. In some areas it tries to be a small town square, while in other areas there are free standing stores like The Fresh Market and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. While retail choices are a little lacking here, there is a nice selection of restaurants. In fact, between the restaurants, bars, and cinema it's more of an entertainment complex than a shopping center. The fact that it's accessible by two forms of transit (ferry and bus) is nice as well.

I had my receipt and the item was in its original packaging not damaged at all except for being defective! I originally paid cash so She gave me $10 cash back she threw in a penny to make it $10.... I got my receipt and proceeded to get a replacement and found one similar for $9.99. I looked at my receipt and just realized she did not give me my tax money back. So, I asked two male employees to look at my receipt and agreed that I should have got my tax money, The Story gets interesting now! The number and brands of merchants may change with time; however, there is a high level of selection and quality. The stadium and Patriot store provide an excellent sports experience, Traffic is well managed during events. The lots are well maintained and frequently policed by staff. The mall is partially covered providing a cool outdoor place to stroll and shop. Bass Pro shops has a number of events and provides a curated back bog area with a walking/ hiking trail. The Cinemas are located off the main parking lot and have plenty of parking. There are numerous handicapped parking spaces in front close to the entrance. There is also a commuter rail station off the parking lot for rail access to the mall. Chargers for electric vehicles are also present for EV vehicles. Patriot Place is one of the best New England malls and a great site for an event experience. We will definitely return.
