I looked past the steep price point in hopes of finding something that reminded me of those beloved street carts. Unfortunately, it did the exact opposite. The gyro didn't taste anything like the authentic New York City street food. It was like a knockoff version where nothing tasted quite right. We only saw two workers who alternated between taking orders, manning the grills, and bringing the food to the counter for pickup. Our order was a bit slow to come out but we could only blame ourselves because we allowed two sets of patrons to pass us in line as we reviewed the menu. Staff were efficient and neither friendly nor unfriendly. They got the job done. Ambiance. (2/5). This isn't a date night kind of place. There are functional booths, but no real decor. The fountain drink machine wasn't working but you could order canned sodas at the counter. We were able to access water from the aforementioned broken machine.
