Arrived and was taken in within a few minutes. The place was okay, but not super comfortable. I was apprehensive about choosing this place, but the deal was worth it. However, I got the most deep tissue massage that I ever got. Honestly at first I thought I was in pain after, but it relieved my lower back pain once I healed. Maybe I liked it. Sooooo, can't lie - I wish they were open now.

A V O I D T H I S P L A C E !!…read more The nail salon changed owners with a corresponding deep decline in the quality of its services. The nail tech that saw me was "experienced" with many years in the business, and one would think the nail tech could deliver quality, but that never happened. The nail tech produced thick, gaudy nails with huge mounds next to the cuticle. Crooked uneven filing, look like a kindergartener did the work. I was chastised by the owner for not letting an "experienced" professional finish her work, since I asked for corrections as the service was been delivered. THIS IS A PERSONAL SERVICE AND SHOULD BE DELIVERED AS A PERSONAL SERVICE. The owner should be ashamed of themselves $50 for an unfinished and no polish terrible work. A V O I D T H I S P L A C E !!

I purchased a Groupon for this business, but when I went online to book my appointment, I was prompted to pay an unexpected $25 deposit. I called the number listed on Groupon to clarify, but no one answered. Immediately after, I received a text from "Gina", from a different phone number, saying she was busy and asking me to text her instead. There was enough back-and-fort texting to indicate she was not busy. I asked if the $25 deposit would be refunded upon arrival, since the service was already fully paid for via Groupon. She said no, because I "am not a member." I then asked if I could at least apply the $25 toward my tip. Again, she said no, claiming the "booking fee" is completely separate. This is false advertising. I contacted Groupon for a refund. Initially, they only offered Groupon credit, but I pushed back, explaining I never would have purchased the deal had the extra $25 fee been disclosed. They finally agreed to refund my original credit card. Save your time and money--hopefully, Groupon removes this merchant from their site entirely.

I'm so bummed to write this review, but I go to Yelp for…read morehonest experiences so I feel compelled to share mine. First, I booked an appointment for a massage online via Vagaro. It looked like there is a massage deal on Gina's website for half the price, but I wasn't sure how to book it, so I went ahead and booked it for the full price. Shortly after I received a text from Gina, who told me she doesn't work in the Pleasant Hill location that day and if I could schedule for another time. After going back-and-forth, I let her know that those other dates/times didn't work for me and if I could just rebook online? She then told me she would come in for me for the original date and time I booked. Fast forward to a week later, the day of the appointment, I arrive 15 minutes early as I expect to fill out new patient paperwork and don't want to be late. At that same moment, I received a text from Gina saying that she would be late to come in 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, which is 30 minutes after the time I actually arrived. I told her I would wait in my car until she arrived. I almost asked to just cancel my appointment and refund me my deposit, but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. She didn't apologize or acknowledge being late. After filling the forms I had to check on her in the waiting room because she didn't come in to collect the forms (she was on her phone). Then when I was undressed and waiting under the blanket on the table for 5-10 mins I said "I'm ready" out loud because she hadn't come in yet! She came in with her phone open and in her hand so I assume she was preoccupied. The massage was itself was ok, just really strong and painful in some parts. I could tell when she was massaging my legs she was on her phone because she only was using one hand, the massage for both of my legs wasn't the same, and I felt her phone vibrate around 20 times during the massage. At the end when I let her know I could feel her phone vibrate and it was extremely distracting she apologized and said she had it on the table. That is really unprofessional and concerning. I hate to give such a low review because Gina was nice and really tried to relieve my back pain but I will not be coming back. Which is such a bummer because I was contemplating purchasing her membership when I first found her site.

What sets her apart is the attention she gives to what I actually need during each visit. If I have a specific area that is bothering me, she takes a genuine interest in addressing it rather than simply following the same routine every time. She has incredible strength when deeper pressure is needed, but more importantly, she adjusts her technique and approach based on the individual needs of her client. After four years, I consider her a trusted provider and an important part of maintaining my physical well-being. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled, attentive deep-tissue massage therapist.

The masseuse was able to locate knots pretty quickly and found some around my shoulder blade that I didn't know I had. She also applied a good amount of pressure. My arm already feels a lot better after only a few hours. There also is plenty of free 2 hour parking. The center is on the second floor, so you'll need to text the masseuse upon arrival so that she can send the elevator down. The only downside to me was the online booking system. I booked a time, but was rescheduled for a different time because the time slot I initially chose wasn't available.
