The nail tech that saw me was "experienced" with many years in the business, and one would think the nail tech could deliver quality, but that never happened. The nail tech produced thick, gaudy nails with huge mounds next to the cuticle. Crooked uneven filing, look like a kindergartener did the work. I was chastised by the owner for not letting an "experienced" professional finish her work, since I asked for corrections as the service was been delivered. Super nice, we did a couples massage with a jacuzzi, at first I had the owner who had strong hands so I requested lighter, my BF had an another young lady who was hyper but sweet. This is not a fancy place, the price is decent, two drawbacks one if you use a credit card there is a fee, can't remember what it is but it was high, they do gave an atm machine. It was super easy to book an appointment. They were attentive with our needs and checked in with us from time to time. We went in on a Sunday and it was well kept and clean. My friend and I did a couples massage and facial combo! It was a good deal and parking was easy. The facial and the massages were both pretty good. There was a jacuzzi in our room so we may get that next time we go here! I think that the restrooms are a service as well as you are a customer in their shop. Bought myself a groupon for a massage months back and booked an appointment. Since it was a single appointment, rather than a couple's massage - I got one right away. Arrived and was taken in within a few minutes. The place was okay, but not super comfortable. I was apprehensive about choosing this place, but the deal was worth it. However, I got the most deep tissue massage that I ever got. Honestly at first I thought I was in pain after, but it relieved my lower back pain once I healed. Maybe I liked it. My partner and I did the couples hot stone massage. While my partners massage was bad, mine was quite horrible. My masseuse provided no privacy with the sheet, pulling it down past my bottom and then picking it up completely and looking at me while I turned over. She burned me with the hot stones twice and was painfully pushing the stones into my spin and back. To say the least I have never left a massage feeling so upset and uncomfortable. We had a couples massage here with aromatherapy on a Sunday. We were happy to see there was easy parking. The appearance inside seemed to be like they tried to make it look good on the surface level until you actually really take a good look around. One of the massage chair sheets had two big holes in it, the doors had rags stuffed in the holes there used to be a lock, and the walls looked painted over but not very well. As far as the massage, my fiancé enjoyed his much more than I did. He said his was 'pretty good' and mine was just okay. It wasn't bad, but just okay. There was a lot of repetition in the strokes and he focused on one area for a while (would rub the same spot over and over with no variety in how) before moving on. He also left the room for a solid 5 minutes to get hot towels which I didn't think was fair that he ended the same time as my fiancé's when I was shorted that time. They also took way longer than necessary to come in after we undressed and laid down. We don't need 10 minutes for that, and then they ended at exactly at 1230 (we had a 60 minute massage for 1130). So overall I felt shorted 15 minutes, which isn't cool. I probably wouldn't return, but glad I gave it a try! read more

I came here after a bad experience with another spa and the ladies at Lavender were very welcoming and saw me right away without hesitation. I got my first facial followed by a full body massage. The facial was amazing, YoYo was fantastic and was very gentle, there was one particular part of the facial that made my eyes water because it hurt so bad but BEAUTY IS PAIN! My eyes were so watery lol but she explained my face is smoother because of it and though i still have no idea what it was, she was right. Homegirl was magical. After that i got the full body massage and that too was very pleasant, i didn't get the name of the young lady who helped me but she was sweet, conversational (when necessary) and knew all the places to focus on without me pointing it out. We get there and a guy is working the front desk and he is very confused as to why we're there and doesn't even understand the services we're asking for or his own menu of services. He calls someone and they explain to him what we're asking for, he also tells us they're "running late" and someone is in the room we're supposed to be in, even though we had the appt time and when we told him we were displeased he said "okay bye" so we left. This experience was about a month or 2 ago but decided to proceed with the review. I don't normally write poor reviews but our experience here warranted one. We stopped by to see if, by chance, they had an opening for a massage at that moment. They said they did and then kept going back and forth to the back and speaking amongst themselves. We waited a while and reminded them that we were just stopping in to see if they had one now but wouldn't be bothered if they couldn't right now. They then proceeded to put us in a room (not very clean). We got situated on the table and then she comes in and says "you'll need to wait 10 minutes". I found that really odd - to make it so someone is undressed on a table and then be honest about the wait time? It was borderline manipulative. Finally, the two masseuses came in and proceeded with the massage. Mine was not very comfortable and it felt like my sheet kept getting lifted up a bit too high to keep me comfortable/decent. The same original lady was my partners masseuse and she left in the middle of the massage for a few-5 minutes to attend the front desk! I also found this odd to take 5 minutes out of someone's 60 minute massage after all of that waiting. She did not give him an additional time to make up for it. Needless to say, we weren't happy with the experience. I consider a tip a gesture of good service. Part of me didn't even want to tip considering the experience but we decided to give a small one because I felt bad and it wasn't exactly an expensive massage. When I handed the cash to her, she said "that's it?!" with a horrified face! I discovered Lavender Day Spa about a year and half before the pandemic and since then, my husband and I have been loyal customers since! They are hands down the best in regards to their massages. For me, I am only a deep tissue type of gal due to the heavy sports I do and their massage therapists are unrivaled when it comes to this. All of their therapists are extremely experienced and will cater to your wishes in regards to pressure adjustments, areas to work on, flow, etc easily. The receptionist, who also is the massage therapist are Ever so lovely and very accommodating to your schedule and appointments. I can make an appointment within a day's notice and they will welcome us. We just finished our monthly massage a couple weeks ago for my husbands birthday and I'm telling you I felt like I was being celebrated as well! This is our favorite treat to ourselves. When we arrived, we got placed in the room and told to remove our clothes. As we lay on the massage table, the receptionist came in and said "oh I forgot to ask, which one of you will have the male?" Immediately, we were uncomfortable. This caused us to reschedule our appointment for the next morning. I have never been so uncomfortable during a massage. I have had a couple massages before (male and female masseurs) and have never had an issue. My male masseuse pulled the sheet down below my bottom and was constantly massaging my butt. My partner was burned by the hot stones twice and nothing was done about it. Her masseuse wasn't giving her a massage so much as just putting all her body weight into my partners back using the hot stones.
