One stop shop for a killer workout with StepFusions (literally such a hard but good calorie burn!), relax in the sauna pod, get a facial, massage, blowout, Botox and get yourself a healthy meal prep on your way out. Also the decor is absolutely stunning!!

The empty water of the toilet bowl that drained into the shower. :(

The concept of this place sounds so awesome and it is but I had a awful experience. I even tried to speak with one of the owners after the incident but I was ignored. I had issues with the shower there. I used one of the pods and used the luxury shirt services and it was the most DISGUSTING experience ever!! The shower starts the flood and the I hear the toilet gurgle... a weird chunky substance starts to come from the drain. It was so disgusting. I told the front office about this and they had apologized.... And that was it. I ended up asking for the manager/ owner Sahara and she was very nice. She wanted to correct the issue and with such telling me they have another partner for the pods. I asked for a refund (as I didn't want to pay for services that I couldn't experience) and she said she would reach out to her. Weeks go by... I was on vacation and have been patient through the whole thing. Reached out again getting slow responses with the owner apologizing saying she was at a funeral. In feeling bad with her loss I decided just to speak to front office to deal with this Pod issue. The owner of the Pods did not care about my experience. I was getting partial refund not apologizing etc. I had been patient waiting for a month so I just said I was going to contact OSHA. Like this was ridiculous! What if I got a infection from who knows what was coming back up in the shower! The building seems old so I can see this happening again. I write the review to implore better customer service from ALL partners and employees and to warn customers to watch out if using the shower. I hope it's all fixed by now because I truly mean it that this place has great potential to be awesome.

Working the abs, arms, legs and booty!

There must have been some kind of promotion cuz prices online were slightly lower than the price menu on site, but they did charge a $3 fee for credit card payment. I reserved an hour-long body massage, and requested Holly when booking on the website. It was confirmed, but when I came in, they told me only Bebe was available... So why are you asking me what I want if there is only one choice?!? I came here with the understanding that I could select my masseuse, in fact it's required that you select a massage therapist when booking online... very misleading. The massage room was simple and inviting, with perfect temperature for comfort, and soothing music in the background. Bebe came in about 10 minutes late, but she was very sweet and actually did a good job, found and worked on my knots right away, even used her knees and feet to effectively massage my back (there are bars on the ceiling for the masseuse to do some back walking). I asked for harder pressure, and she delivered, most effective on my back, neck, and shoulders, not so much on my limbs. The sauna and steam room were also available which I opted not to use. And there's a comfy waiting area off the lobby too.

It is finally time for me to write a review on this place…read more A bit of background is that I've been dealing with an asthma flareup that has made it difficult for me to walk even a block without getting out of breathe. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! I really do recommend this and I do have about it to friends. :)

I also appreciate that they push to turn off or silence phones. Unplugging is the way to go when visiting these types of facilities. Also, the massages were fantastic - I got the deep tissue massage and I felt like a new woman after. My boyfriend also felt the same way. I teased him after about him making noises when getting a massage lol. He very much enjoyed it as this was a birthday present for him! We will definitely be doing this as a ritual every 3 to 4 months! Note: the only issue I had was parking - extremely hard to find parking. We recommend that you come at least 1 hour before your appointment, not only because of the parking issue, it also gives you ample time to enjoy the extra amenities that I listed above which comes with every service you book for.

Review for Immersion Spa ‍…read more I absolutely loved this place, and to this day, I still miss it. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a faithful and loyal customer at Immersion. It became one of my favorite self-care rituals. I would bring family and friends, and I went regularly--about once every quarter. It was something I always looked forward to. There is currently no Korean spa in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I live now, and the closest option is in Atlanta. So yes... boo-hoo. Nothing quite compares to this experience. What made Immersion special was the sense of freedom and relaxation the moment you walked through the door. The spa is thoughtfully organized, very clean, and beautifully maintained. You store your belongings in secure lockers, receive a waterproof wristband, and then the entire experience begins. I always arrived at least 90 minutes before my massage so I could fully enjoy the amenities. That extra time was part of the magic. My favorite features included: * The hot tub and invigorating cold plunge * The wet sauna and dry sauna * The gentle, calming warmth of the Himalayan salt room * Complimentary roasted tea and water * High-quality bath and shower products in the women's area * A peaceful, well-run environment with clear structure and cleanliness standards Everything felt intentional and relaxing. My go-to service was always the Fusion massage, which blends shiatsu and deep tissue techniques using organic coconut oil. The therapists were incredibly skilled and intuitive--they knew exactly how to work out tension and restore balance. Some of the best massages I've ever had were here. Over the years, prices have increased slightly--as they have everywhere. I remember paying around $100 before COVID, and later seeing it closer to $130. Even so, the value of the experience made it worth every dollar. I was there hook, line, and sinker. A few practical notes for future guests: * Parking is limited and shared with neighboring businesses (including Kumon), so timing matters * The spa has separate men's and women's areas * No outside shoes are allowed inside the spa * Clothing is optional in designated areas, which is standard for Korean spa culture * Plan to arrive early to fully enjoy the amenities before your service One service I personally never tried was the traditional Korean body scrub. I watched others experience it, and while many people love it, it looked a little too intense for my taste. That said, the massages and spa amenities are absolutely exceptional. If you're considering a membership, it's worth exploring. This is the kind of place that becomes part of your routine once you experience it. I still haven't found anything in the Southeast that truly matches the level of service, atmosphere, and overall experience of Immersion. I keep looking--but this one set the bar very high. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

I've honestly never left a review on Yelp or Google before, but this experience was so good that I felt compelled to share it. I recently purchased a hot tub for my family from Spa & Sauna Company, and Liam made the entire process exceptional from start to finish. Before visiting the store, I had done some research on the type of hot tub we wanted, but once you start looking seriously, the number of options becomes overwhelming--different brands, sizes, salt systems vs. traditional sanitation, lounge seats vs. no lounge, installation considerations, maintenance, and more. When I walked into the store, I appreciated that I could browse for a bit without anyone immediately approaching me with a sales pitch. At just the right moment, Liam came over, introduced himself, and let me know he'd be happy to help if I had any questions. What followed was honestly one of the best sales experiences I've ever had for a major purchase. Liam took the time to really listen to what I was looking for. He walked me through several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of different models--including both less expensive and more premium options. At no point did I feel pressured toward a particular model or add-on. The conversation felt informative, relaxed, and genuinely helpful, and it ultimately helped us find the perfect hot tub for our family. But the support didn't stop after the purchase. Liam helped us think through the best location on our deck for installation, worked through the delivery logistics quickly and smoothly, and has continued to be available afterward to answer questions. As first-time hot tub owners, we had plenty--everything from chemicals and temperature settings to water balance and general maintenance. Liam has been incredibly responsive and helpful through all of it. We've now had the hot tub for about a month and our family absolutely loves it. Like I said, I've literally never written an online review before, but this experience deserved one. If you're looking for a hot tub and aren't sure where to start, Spa & Sauna Company has a great selection--and if you want someone knowledgeable who will guide you through the process without any pressure, ask for Liam.

The products used during my body scrub appeared to be inexpensive--I was shocked to see what looked like Softsoap being used instead of the quality products you'd expect from a professional Korean spa. The older woman mentioned in many other reviews was exactly as described. She was clearly unhappy with the tip I left and repeatedly pressured me to give more. It felt uncomfortable, unprofessional, and borderline harassing. No customer should feel pressured to increase their tip after paying for a service. The massage chairs were old, worn down, and one of them was completely broken. The relaxation area also smelled like mildew, which made me question the cleanliness of the facility. Overall, this felt like a low-budget operation that has not been properly maintained. I left feeling disappointed instead of relaxed and genuinely concerned about the cleanliness of the spa.
