Let me start off by saying... I just realized some of the pictures uploaded by the business a month ago must be AI because that is NOT what the actual establishment looks like LOL, shame on me for not noticing prior. I literally decided to give this place a call because of those pictures so now I feel tricked lol. However, my husband and I were on a time crunch because we had to get back home to our babies but wanted to really have a self care day which also happened to be on a holiday. With that said, there weren't many options that were open and or available for the time we needed. We called and were easily scheduled for an appointment with our requests of both female masseuses for a 2 hour couple massage. I've had bad experiences at Asian spots where the men always smelled like cigarettes so I try to avoid it when I can. I got a lil PTSD when we pulled in to the parking lot too because that's all I smelled. Keep in mind the parking lot for this business is fairly small so you may have to find street parking. Another thing that made me apprehensive was the bathroom. It was giving run down, there was no toilet paper holder and the paper towel dispenser was either out of batter or broken? So I honestly wasn't expecting much of the rooms. My husband loved his massage by Grace and I had Kelly. First thought, OKAY with the heated beds! I've ever been to an Asian spot with the heated beds and it was definitely a nice touch! They also had a cute lil electric fire place in the room. As for the massage... Initially, I thought she wasn't going to be applying enough pressure. I came in with so much upper back pain I also kept thinking she wasn't hitting the right spots. Because we had a 2 hour appointment (for the first time) the max we usually get is MAYBE 90 mins; I felt like there was a point where she was kind of BSing the massage. It felt more like she was kind of stroking/petting my back lol. But when she went IN I was pleasantly surprised. She hit a lot of pressure points I didn't even know I had/needed and she didn't just go 0-100 she really took her time to apply pressure so my body had time to respond. I've been to many deep massages that feel ok during the appointment but then make me feel so sore or bruised after. I appreciate how both ladies asked if we were comfortable throughout the massage and when I mentioned I felt like I needed more on 1 side than the other she addressed it. I will say though, I don't remember her ever really touching my shoulders. I'm not sure if that is because my husband circled my upper and lower back as a focus? Regardless, I left relaxed and happy that I left with less pain than I came in with. Can't wait to come back for another! Came here recently for a massage with one of my close girlfriend. She surprised me with a massage for my birthday. They were able to accommodate us for 2x - 1 hour massages. However, they didn't have enough single rooms so they put us in one of those double bed rooms which was fine. I didn't catch my masseuse name but she was amazing. I feel bad writing this review as the staff was super kind, and I really wanted to enjoy my experience here. The first thing I will say is, make sure to directly tell the staff before the massage if you are not comfortable with a male masseuse! I wasn't asked about what gender I would prefer and once I was already unclothed waiting for my massage, a male masseuse walked in. On top of that, my massage wasn't even good. Honestly, my back hurt more afterwards. (My boyfriend also got a massage and he enjoyed his, so maybe it was just the masseuse that I had.) MOST IMPORTANTLY, the next morning, I broke out with lesions all over my chin (the dermatologist thinks it's a staph infection) and I can only assume it was from the pillows on the massage table not being cleaned properly before we used them. I'm a regular at Olympic Spa. The massages here are the best. And what I love most of all about the place is there is always availability. I love how clean it always is in here, their choice of spa music is always good, and their customer service is very good. I've literally never had a bad experience and I've been here more times than I can count. Only thing I don't like is your masseuse waits for you to get dress to greet you with water outside the door. I personal feel like that puts a rush on you to get dress faster so you can't really stay in the state of relaxation. I think they should have a small water picture and a glass on a tray in the room, ready, before they exit and then they (or the front desk person) can meet you in the front when you're ready. I also think they should leave an envelope on the tray for tips with the masseuse' name on it. Nevertheless, you arrive to the spa, come in, fill out their form and they get you right in. I've never waited more that 10 minutes to get a massage. I love that. Since they've moved, finding parking (depending on when you go) can be difficult so arrive ahead of your appointment. read more

However- it was amazing- I will return frequently and it is now my favorite place in Walnut Creek! They are a long term WC business that moved from the east side over to Alpine Rd. When you enter the interior is surprisingly large. The front desk was very nice and helpful. You fill out a form with information regarding what you like/ don't like. My favorite masseuse so far has been John, who really helped work out a tough knot near my shoulder. I usually get a 60 minute massage with hot stone, which is $95. The massage tables are comfortable and warm. It's easy to book an appointment online, and there is usually availability within 24 hours or the same day! I sit at a desk all day at work, drive 2 hours, and lift at the gym, so I am always needing deep tissue massages every month to releive soreness and tension. I always go to this awesome Thai massage place but was looking for a new place closer to home and so happy to have found Olympic Spa. It is clean, friendly staff, and you can tell they care about their clients. Plus the prices are very reasonable! Peter was my massueuse and intially I was nervous having a male masseuuse but he was very professional and respectful. He also did a great job of massaging with a lot of pressure to get deep into the layers of my muscles. Things I loved about this place has that my other massage spa didnt have: -It's big, so lots of space! -Separate, private closed door rooms -Massage beds are heated which helps to bring more bloodflow to muscles -Loyalty card I love being rewarded for being a loyal client Things I wish this place had that my other massage spa has: -Slippers when you enter to keep the floors of the facility clean which is nice when taking off your clothes -Feedback from the masseusue on areas I am extremely tight and things I can do to improve it -Hot tea/water after the massage. They gave me cold water after the massage but I liked that my old place had hot tea and water in the lobby to drink as much as needed after the service. You get to fill out a form what body part you want them to concentrate on and how long. Then they take you to a nice room that has a one of those fireplaces that look real to give you that home relaxed feeling. Massage table is heated so you not cold. I've seen a couple different techs over the years but my most recent experience was with Coco. She was amazing!! If you're looking for a deep tissue massage, definitely go to her. I booked her for a reflexology massage with medium pressure. She was able to work out all of my spots on my back that have tightness and also was able to release some pressure points that made my back crack in some areas. I felt so much better after leaving. They also have a hot stone special for the same price as a standard 60 min massage!! They moved from the old location about two months ago from the post office area to alpine. They have a private parking lot in the front of the building and street parking across the street. Lots of spots open. Hands down one of my fav massage spots to go in Walnut Creek.
