The food fully held up to our Turkish standard. The Aperitif was a beautifully served Raki. We did not get appetizers however they did bring some fresh oven baked bread with some feta in the side.
The portions were large and nicely spiced. The Adaman Kebab had the perfect spicy kick and the Chicken Kebab had a lovely savoury spice. Both served with rice, pickled purple cabbage, green pepper, onions and a salad, all surrounded by a nice baked flour tortilla. Frankly it was a lot and we took some home in a to-go container.
Service was prompt, kind and caring.
The ambiance was nice, nicer than most places we have eaten in Turkey, lighting appropriately dim, wood fired open, comfortable chairs and tables.
They were very appreciative of our business and this restaurant is a nice addition to the neighbourhood mix. read more
