I ordered the chicken wrap and beef kebab platter. The flavors were very mild for my liking but everything else was okay. My glass also smelt funny which threw me off. For the price I've seen better.

It's a spacious , the booths are nice long seating like 3 can sit. The staff is okay, not welcoming . The service is good, I had to ask for napkins. The server dropped water on our table didn't think of cleaning it . The appetizers tray we ordered was good , comes with 3 different dips , and the freshly baked Nan is super good . We ordered a platter for 2 which was good for us . My son ordered shawarma pizza which he said was good . Next time going to try the desserts and black tea

Beautiful restaurant and efficient/quick service. I wouldn't say the staff is very friendly or rude, they get the job done. Food was delicious and big servings. Fresh bread was absolutely delicious We ordered beef and cheese pide (not pictured), mix platter for 2 and the mixed appetizer dips. Knocked 1 star off because the sides were too small (rice and couscous). Overall, I would return.

The food here is comparable to those in other Turkish restaurants in the area, but with fewer / very limited vegetarian options. The inside is quite spacious and all the tables are pretty big - perfect for groups. There wall is adorned with TV screen and some paintings / photos of scenes from Turkey. There were lots of flies inside the restaurant at the time when we went for some reason. The two fish dishes that we tried (salmon and sea bream) were pretty good, but the Bosphorous Salad that it came with was a bit disappointing (mostly small shreds of iceberg lettuce). The Mixed Green Salad came out in a pretty big sharable portion, but the dressing was way too sweet and very sticky (contains molasses and oil, I think?). The best things here were the Eggplant Salad and the complimentary bread that was nicely charred and had a nice chewy texture (also very big in size - got to take some of it home). They both went really well together.

The food was so delicious! I couldn't not get enough! Honestly, the flavours were all there I couldn't help it continue eating until my stomach was so full! I honestly cannot wait to go back and have more! We ordered Iskender kebab Manti beef Soujouk cheese pide

Great Turkish restaurant by York University. The restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated. Staff are very friendly and attentive but not overly so. They have a big menu to choose from with a range of appetizers, mains and desserts. Prices are also decent for the portion of food you get. We ordered the mixed grill for 2 which came with: 1 Skewer Adana Kebab 1 Skewer Chicken Shish Kebab 2 Pcs Lamb Chop, 2 Pcs Kofte Doner, Rice, Salad, Bread It was an impressive platter! The food came out on a large plank and everything on it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We ended with a creamy tiramisu which was super light and custardy. It wasn't like your traditional Italia tiramisu so it was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu!

We had an exceptional dining experienced here in Turkish restaurant. I love Turkish food and this place is highly recommended. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and their staff so accommodating. If you are looking for massive food options then this is the place! I love everything about this place. The food is always cooked perfect. Especially their lamb chop the veggies and rice are amazing too. Their food is freshly baked breads are so yummy too. The restaurant has a great ambience and nice big space. We actually hosted my husband's bday here. The servers are friendly, too.

Came last night to celebrate a friend's bday. The resto is in a plaza across from York University (keele campus). There's a dominos as well as a roti spot in this plaza as well. The parking lot is big so parking shouldn't be an issue. We had a reservation for 14 ppl and didn't have any trouble getting seated at all. The clientele was all locals. We were sat near the kitchen next to the dessert gallery. So we ordered up a massive spread. Mix grill for 4 (x2): We got 2 of these platters. Each board came w/ adana kebab skewers, chicken shish kabobs, lamb chops, kofte, chicken doner, beef doner, rice, bulgur, salad and bread. The food was extremely tasty. My favourite from the platter was the beef doner and lamb chops. The chicken was really flavourful as well and quite moist for breast meat. The platters also came w/ 2 sauces. A yogurt sauce (which might've been tzatziki or dill raita?) and a spicy pepper sauce. Adana ali nazik: This was basically a turkish version of baba ghanoush which is roasted eggplant puree mixed w/ garlic yogurt. It was served with adana skewers (lamb kebabs) and peppers. SO TASTY. For me, I already love hummus but this eggplant sauce is the leveled up version. It's so flavourful. Ground beef & cheese pide: Since we wanted to try everything, we asked the waitress for a recommendation on the pide. She recommended the ground beef and cheese pide. It was REALLY good. The bread is crusty but fluffy inside and the cheese was stringy. I think they could've added a little bit more beef but that's a nitpick. Bosphorus steak: The steak itself was cooked perfectly medium rare. It definitely could've used more seasoning though. I liked the fact that they used a nice thick cut however, I think this dish will prolly be a pass next time we come back. Mix appetizer plate: This is basically a side order of 3 different sauces. It came w/ hummus, the baba ghanoush and a tomato and pepper sauce in the middle. We ordered this to basically mop up the complimentary bread that came w/ the meal. Tres leches: This resto actually makes an excellent tres leches cake. The sweet milk mixture wasn't TOO sweet and the cake itself was extremely moist and delicious. The caramelized crust on top was also a nice added touch. Kazandibi: So I believe this is milk pudding. It was fantastic. Not sweet at all except for the caramelized top part. I would re-order this again in the future. Turkish ice cream: I thought it would be flavoured but it was very natural tasting. Almost like they used goat milk instead of regular milk to make it. We did enjoy it but I wouldn't say it's a must try. Baklava: There were 4 baklavas listed on the menu so naturally I asked our waiter which one she'd recommend. She instead recommended one that was in the dessert gallery but not on the menu. In my honest opinion this was my fave dessert. The baklava was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and warm all the way through and then the pistachios added that nice texture and taste. Definitely one of the best baklava I've had in recent memory. Excellent recommendation by the waitress. My friend ordered a salgam which is turnip tea. It says "black carrot" on the label which is funny. It tasted like a ceasar but slightly spicier than normal. We were all given complimentary turkish tea at the end of the meal which was awesome. Some of my friends ordered coffee which came in these really cool traditional cups and some turkish delight as accompaniment. To celebrate bdays they play "happy birthday" from a flat screen tv at the back of the resto and blare out turkish beats at maximum volume as they bring out dessert. We had a really good laugh at my friend's expense. Of course, I can't finish off this review w/o giving a huge shoutout to our server Betul! She was attentive, knowledgeable and super sweet! A++ service! My friends and I will definitely be back in the future!

Tried this place out for the first time and I am seriously impressed. Absolutely delicious. Excellent service too. We had Mohammed serve us and he was very attentive and super helpful to make sure we ordered correctly for our table. He made us feel very welcome and appreciated as customers. The food was incredible. Some of the best Turkish BBQ I have ever had. The overall quality and portions was decent. It's a bit in the pricy side but it is quality so I do not mind. We had the BBQ platter for 2 and the meat and cheese pide which was a great amount for 3 guys. I will absolutely be back.

The mixed grill was absolutely the way to go at this restaurant! Every type of meat--from the juicy lamb chops to the perfectly grilled chicken and flavorful kebabs--was seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. The variety kept every bite exciting. The bosphorus bread tied the whole meal together beautifully. Generous portions, great balance of flavors, and a feast for both the eyes and the appetite equals a major win in my books.

If I could give this restaurant more than 5-stars, I would! It all started one day when I saw a friend's post on Instagram. The food in the picture looked fabulous so I inquired as to where he was. Hmm, I've never had Turkish cuisine before. A week later I was there enjoying the same meal - the mixed grill for two. This was an unforgettable meal. The whole experience was fabulous from the moment we walked in. Selma, our server, was so amazing and helped us through the menu. I knew from the start what we were going to have but it was great to see all the options (for next time!). Well, a few weeks have passed and I'm sitting at my desk planning a team-building event. The venue allows external catering and here I am, still daydreaming about the meal I had at Bosphorus. I hopped online and placed an order... mixed grill with rice bulgur and bread, some pide (which I was so excited to try), and some falafel for our vegan friends. There's no question that Bosphorus knows how to do meat but their spinach pide and mushroom pide are outstanding. Everything I've had from this restaurant so far had been amazing. This has quickly become one of my favourite places. Whenever I'm in the area I will definitely stop in and I will absolutely order from them again for business events. Our order through Door Dash was seamlessly easy.

Was excited to try this place as it had really high ratings and good reviews. The establishment was super busy and making a reservation is highly recommended. The service was fast and food came relatively quick for the large amount of food that we ordered. Note that everyone is entitled to a cup of tea during their visit to the restaurant. Ground Beef and cheese Pide - The pide had a great base which was this fluffy dough. The pide itself was massive/long great value for $20. Would try another pide next time. Mixed platter - A massive platter with a large spread of meats and veggies on top of a wooden plank. It also came with their fresh flat bread, soft fluffy inside and crispy outside. The meats were mostly pretty good. In order of favourites to least favourite: lamb shaving, beef shaving, kefta kebab, lamb chop, steak, chicken breast. There were also two kinds of grains, bother was really tasty! Also came with vegetables: onions, garden salad and pickled cabbage. Mixing everything was fun and huge amount of food for the price. Adana ali nazik - Probably my favourite dish of the night. Savorury creamy eggplant puree with loads of garlic flavour. Probably the best dip I've had with some good bread. Would come back just for this item. Bosphorous steak - My least favourite dish of the night. Fries were crispy and fluffy. Steak quality felt off, would not recommend. Desserts were pretty standard and nothing felt out of the ordinary. Great price if you're looking for a family style dinner or wanting large portions, otherwise this place is rather pricey. Food was a hit or miss for somethings. Might comeback for the eggplant dip, otherwise a bit of a trek to come here.

Amazing food experience of real Turkish food. We had a feast and thoroughly enjoyed our time here…read morerelaxing after a long week. The owner was our host and he was so friendly while juggling multiple tables and training new staff. We started with Baba Ganoush and Coban Salad, adventured into the unusual with the Kelle Paca and feasted on the Chicken Shawarma and Beyti Kebab. Quantity is generous with each dish and we ended up packing up the equivalent of one full meal between all the dishes to take home. I love that they have a coal grill right in the restaurant, grilling up delicious meats fresh to order but there was no smoke in the dining area. Also, there is a cafe area and a bar area when not eating, as their were patrons hanging out and relaxing in the spacious area. My personal favorite for the night was the Kelle Paca as I've never seen it in any restaurant. It is a hearty tomato based soup made of head meat. It sound crazy but is absolutely delicious! I like the different chunks of meat, all slightly different in texture and taste. End the meal with some traditional tea!

The restaurant has a beautiful interior and high ceilings. Service here is little to none. Which is unfortunate since their food is so good. After taking our orders we were never checked on. Asked 2 different servers for extra serveware and never got it. Had to ask more than once to get water. Overall the service is BAD. What saves this place is definitely their food, as it's very delicious. Definitely start with their variety of dips for sharing. Here's what we got: Mix Appetizers 5/5 - Came with hummus, baba ganoush, spicy mashed and haydari. All delicious and served with fresh bread. Mixed Pide 5/5 - This was also great for sharing and tasting the variety of pide options. Came with cheese, minced meat, and sausage. Mix Kebab for 2 5/5 - This was more than enough to share with the five of us, as portions are large, especially when you are ordering other sides. A variety of meats including lamb, chicken, beef served with rice and salad. The meal ends with complimentary tea. Overall, delicious spot with great food but just lacks any type of service. So good that I'd still come back for their food.

The restaurant's modern decor makes it feel elevated, but it's not stuffy or posh inside at all. I've never had Turkish food before, so I can't comment on the authenticity or taste, but I really enjoyed our meal! The pide was like a naan, and it tasted so good with that generous cheese topping and the complimentary yoghurt-based dip. The beef doner was also tasty, and I was not expecting that gigantic pile of meat! Stuffing that beef between the flatbread with some of that yogurt dip, add some pickled red onions, cucumber, & tomato = perfection. Looking forward to my next visit!

The manti stood out more for its comfort than complexity, tender dumplings, yogurt, and a clean garlic-forward profile that felt authentic, even if slightly muted on spice. The ribeye steak medallions were cooked accurately and had good texture, but they were less memorable compared to the rest of the menu. In contrast, the mixed grill platter was the strongest showing of the night, offering variety and consistent execution across different meats, which is not easy to do well. Everything was flavorful without feeling overworked. The mixed meat pide was satisfying and hearty, though on the richer side. It's filling and best approached as a shared dish rather than an add-on.
