We were excited to take our little one for the first time pedicure and manicure experience. Negatives - One lady answered a FaceTime while doing a pedicure for a few minutes which wasn't an emergency, bathroom could use some love, put a curtain up by the area going to RR that covers products up so you don't see everything on the shelves, and another lady was being pushy about going from a regular mani to getting gel nails. My biggest hang up is that it's been less than three days and 8 of 10 nails from the manicure have literally "slipped" off not even chipped like they didn't put the top coat. Positives - They were able to take us right away, two little chairs for kids, the lady who worked with the little was patient (probably didn't understand English), typical drink offered at the beginning, kid price for pedi/mani, and appeared clean in the main area. Overall, I will be trying one of the other 100 places around town before going back here. For the amount of money we paid for the visit, my nails should have lasted longer than they did. The first one that "slipped" off was less than 24 hours than when they were originally done. read more

I just happened to pop in to check this place out while my daughter was at dance class. I got shellac and told the technician what color I was looking for. I wanted a natural, sheer pink and she found the perfect color. She did such a beautiful job. I will absolutely go back when I am in that area again. I wish I knew the technicians name. I came here for the second time and my experience was not a good one. I had basic acrylic nails and they were extremely overpriced. My nails have bubbles from the poor gel application, and for the price? Insane. I would not come here again. If you write a review on yelp, you'll get a discount if it meets the $55 threshold. My basic 'not' even solar nails were $51. My cuticles weren't cleaned properly, there's still dead skin and was not pushed back to effectively clean my nail bed. Also, The nail tech was quiet the whole time, not even a "hi". Awkward energy. To add, that is a lie. I did not get solar pink nails and the clerk at the front mentioned she can not give me a discount because it did not meet the threshold. I never asked for any additional discounts. I used to love this place. Very clean. This is the third and last time I will ever come back. The last time shellac pealed off in THREE days, they did not listen to my daughter and her friends. Basically told them to lie to me. This time, I got talked into a new product. Side of my nails are rough, the color is put on sloppy. Nails are all misshaped. I did a pedicure at this location and they are not willing to participate to help me for cutting my toe little bit more. I told them that it's hurting me and they said we are not a doctor! I was a regular customer that all the time doing my manicure here and It was the first time I was doing pedicure here. It's unfortunate that they don't wanna even look at my toe. Once I told them it hasn't been cut properly!! This type of taking care of their regular customers is something that you should know before you come to this salon. This place is not for us (blacks). I know a lot of them like to size us up but this one showed their truness today. The heffa got mad Just because I wanted a color change on my toes and not a full pedi. I asked her a question about my toenail and she said she was not a doctor. I told her I know u r not a dr. If you r here polishing toes. I stopped her and told her she could not fo my polish. The manager came over to see what was going on. She had the nerve to tell my that some of the girls don't understand english very well and offered to get someone else to do the polish. Made an appointment to come in on Sunday with my mom. Honestly had the worst experience there. I got a simple package that included a 5 min massage. I ended up I getting a 10 second massage and was let go. He didn't even asked if I liked my nails or anything and proceeded to jumped over to the next customer. I'd been looking for a new nail salon and I'm glad I found this place. I went in on a Saturday evening after looking up nail salons close by and this one popped up. She said they take walk ins and there was no wait, RARE! First impression was good, I was greeted and shown the kiosk where you can check in, I got a full set with gel polish. Diana did a great job and took care of my nails the way I wanted them. Everyone was friendly. I went back the next morning for a pedicure and the experience was just as great. They asked if I wanted a drink, showed me the pedicure options and made sure I was comfortable. I've found that previous salons have cleanliness issues so that's a huge deal for me when picking new salons but this salon even has a purity ozone system in their pedicure bowls! We love to see it! My wife and I were in town for a weekend getaway and decided to go get a pedicure. After looking at reviews on yelp, we decided on Marlen's Nail Spa. The service was outstanding! We were greeted warmly upon arrival and were immediately taken to our chairs, which were very comfortable massage chairs. The ladies started our pedicure and right away we noticed the care and concern for our comfort. They were constantly making sure we were not uncomfortable and that nothing they were doing hurt. I am very ticklish on the bottoms of my feet. Once she saw my obvious reaction while scrubbing, she stopped and went on to something else. Even while cutting my toenails, Jenny was careful not to cause pain and did a great job. My wife and I both said that was the best pedicure we have ever gotten. Our comfort was top priority from the moment we walked in the door. We will definitely plan a trip back to town so we can go back to Marlen's Nail Spa! Thanks Ladies! read more

While the salon itself was beautiful and clean, my nail tech was kind, the pricing is absolutely insane for the minimal work done. My pedicure was aweful and I expressed to the owners I did not like it at all and there response was that the person who did my pedicure usually does older women who like these pedicure. I am not old and it should have been down to my liking. No refund was offered for the bad job they did. My nails were great though, but not worth the price. read more

I walked in with an appointment already made and asked for acrylic on my big toes only and a french tip. While during the pedicure the lady cut the side of my foot. When she finally was done with the toes and doing the french tip she did the french tip in the middle on my toe and not the tip. She didn't match the pink I asked for on my nails and gave me an attitude when I reminded her about it. 10/10 don't recommend and my bill came out to $72 when I have just asked for acrylic and polish. read more

First and definitely last visit to this salon. First off the lady who did my nails was very rough, men and unsatisfactory. She was very condescending and said oh I thought I did your nails before. Ma'am this is my first time. Ok I asked for regular nails extension with regular polish. I absolutely hate when nail salons trying to guilt you into getting shellac or color powder. Well the price I saw when I agreed for regular polish and pedicure definitely was not the price I ended up paying. She said the total was $93. Ugh how did you get that price? She said well we put Powder and did solar nails. I'm like I asked for a regular full set. She showed me a price that said $55 and said she discounted me. Then she dropped the price to $88. I literally received regular polish on my toes and nails and she tried to say it was an overlay on top of my nails. Needless to say I wanted to like this place but it's robbery. Never again!!! And asked for a tip. I think the F NOT. WELP on the hunt again to find a good nail salon. This is ridiculous. read more

My first experience was great they were were friendly the prices were way crazy in my opinion . They charged me for gel pedicure and dip nails $130 they chipped the same day. I was not happy went back for the second time just recently and the same thing happened. If I am paying someone $130 I would expect my nails to last not chip the same day. I been getting my nails done since I was 16 and never in my life have been charged that much or my my nails chipped the same day. I will not be returning their again. They over charge people and nails chip and break same day . The worst nail salon I have ever been too quality of the nails were horrible and over priced. It shouldn't matter if my nails are thin or not I expect my nails not to chip same day I got them done . It was a great experience. My pedicure was very relaxing and the place is very clean.

Well my 2nd & 3rd experience was very different than the first. And I only went back for the 3rd time to fix a cracked nail. I went in for a refill & the nail tech was on her phone the whole time which is rude when your supposed to be providing a service. When she was almost done with my refill I noticed she only refilled from my cuticle to the middle of my nails therefore leaving a slope, going down towards the tip. When I tried to point this out to her, she argued with me and I then asked for another employee to come and see what I was talking about. Maybe there was a language barrier, but they both argued with me, saying that my nail will even out that she was not done. so I waited till she was completely done and then when she started to apply the gel, I showed her again that some of my nails were still at slope. And she told me don't worry I'm going to apply four coats of gel polish you won't notice it. Well from my experience when the nail is only refilled to the middle & slopes or super thin it will crack in the middle. Well few days later one of my nails cracked and I went back explaining again but they were very dismissive. I will definitely not return to have any services at this salon. Customer Service is Key not the bar and drinks you offer as a cover. read more
