They offered to re-make out order, but we were pretty hungry and did not want to wait another 45 minutes to an hour. The order was for a cup and char pan, with pepperoni on half, of which there were about a dozen pieces of pepperoni....now you would think if you are paying for a pepperoni pizza and want half without, they would at least put some of that pepperoni on the other half. I had a disappointing experience, so I messaged Mark's through their Facebook page - which has still not been read weeks later. I went to their website but the contact us form is broken. I emailed the only email address on the website and received no response. I'm sure I could go back to the store and request to speak to a manager, or I could tie up the phone lines trying to speak to someone, but in this day and age, wouldn't you think you could reach out to a business via electronic media and get a response? Pretty bad PR, in my opinion. Here's what I wrote: So listen. I love your pizza. Especially your pan pizza. So when I ordered at 430 on a Sunday and then arrived at 450 and it was just going in the oven that was total cool to wait another 15 minutes. But look. This is shabby pan pizza. I ordered half spinach and ricotta, half pepperoni. My online order number was 1128425. As you can see from the following photos, there isn't even one piece of spinach on each of the six oddly cut "squares." One of the pieces (the corner) has no topping at all. And the crust, well. It's not what I've been ordering lately for delivery at work there in Palmyra. So it's all cool because any Mark's pizza is decent pizza, but it's disappointing because it's not what I wanted or ordered - and now I'm not going to feel confident to ever order it again. read more

It was a long drive in the morning and we decided to grab lunch in Palmyra. It was after 2, so the local highly-Yelp-rated cafe was closed so we popped in to Mark's for a quick bite. The staff was friendly. Got a little confused when we couldn't decide between getting a few slices or just ordering a fresh pizza. In hindsight, slices might have been better. When the pizza arrived, it looked good. The toppings were nicely cooked and brown, the cheese had a nice looking melt to it. The pizza was a little tough to serve as the cheese wanted to slide off, but that was ok. Taking a first bite showed the major failure here. The sauce. A few reviews complain about the dough, but it had a nice chew and was baked well so it was a good nibble. But the sauce. What a watery mess. The sauce tasted like it was near closing and they had run out and needed to stretch a single pizza worth of sauce fill the last several orders. There was no flavor. Maybe sitting on a warming tray would give the sauce time to evaporate and leave whatever hint of seasoning behind. read more

Im not from this area but I know Mark's pizza. Although it's consistently a tasty pizza, I'm not a fan mainly because of the overly sweet sauce and thick dough. However, I was staying in a hotel and they are usually the only place open past 9pm. I got delivery and ordered a medium pie. I asked for it to be made super thin with a very light amount of sauce. It arrived fresh and hot and the delivery driver was just outstanding. Very friendly!!! I ordered from the Palmyra location on Wednesday, February 14th at around 9:00 pm. The woman who took my order was not friendly at all and her poor attitude almost caused me to hang up. After my order was placed and she told me it would be around 45 minutes, I was in the middle of saying thank you and she just hung up the phone. My pizza was not made the way I asked and I had a feeling that was going to happen due to the poor attitude of the woman taking my order. One thing I can not tolerate, unfriendly people. Especially if I am buying something and the customer service stinks. Another issue, they charged 4.00 for local delivery. That's something I'm not use to at all. It cost me over 19.00 for a tiny medium sized pizza half plain and half with pepperoni, sausage, and onion. It honestly was the size of a personal sized pizza and the price is just ridiculous. However , if that's what they charge, and people pay it, so be it. However, this one star rating is curtesy of the woman who took my order. Not that great but not that terrible. They usually get something wrong with our delivery order (our order usually is fairly big, so maybe if you just order one or two things, they have an easier time). Wrong size sub, forget a sauce, something like that. The food is mostly pretty bland, too. I tried a sub with almost no flavor - hardly any mayo, the bacon was a pile of bacon bits that tasted like nothing besides a little salt, and the bread was like eating toasted air. The boneless wings were crispy but also tasteless (garlic parm has almost no garlic or cheese taste to it), ditto with the pepperoni stuffed bread. I could see the mozzarella inside but it was like chewing on a gob of dough. The pizza has been okay, a bit too doughy as well, but the sauce has a nice tangy tomato flavor. About the only thing I can praise is that the food usually arrives still hot and crispy where it's supposed to be. I've had other places deliver soggy fries, but Mark's manages to time things right. Their service is usually pretty professional, too. But it doesn't help much if nothing they bring is worth eating. read more

For the most part, I like there pizzas and food. For whatever reason, if we order food to be delivered, twice it never got here. We called and they say " food is on its way" and later say they can't find the order. No dinner on two occasions for our family. Very dissapointed, I called their corporate offices to complain but never heard a word back from them. We won't ever order food to be delivered from them again.. I am not happy at all with this service, I live right down the street, they were amazing before and just have gotten worse over time. I ordered a large chicken bacon ranch pizza with extra sauce, I paid for extra sauce and there is no ranch on it at all! Then they tell me that my order is more than it said it was on my receipt and yes I ordered online and do know there is a delivery fee, but any other time they charge me exact amount at the door as they say after I order it. Our family has been buying from Mark's for years. It seems ever since they replaced their ovens for the belt type ovens, their pizzas are terribly greasy.
