Very disappointing experience at Mark's Pizzeria. While I was ordering, a police officer came in and the manager, Hunter, yelled from the back, "Tell him we don't serve donuts here." He repeated it again while the officer was trying to order, loud enough that the entire restaurant heard. At first I assumed they knew each other, but after walking outside with the officer, I asked. He said no--and that this kind of thing happens there. I was shocked to learn Hunter was actually the manager. Regardless of your personal feelings about law enforcement, openly mocking and disrespecting a paying customer is completely unprofessional. I won't be giving this business my money again. If you're passing through town, try Black Hart BBQ or Happy Chinese instead. read more

We placed an online order for delivery, and got a confirmation email at 6:11pm It was almost 8pm when we called to see why out order wasn't delivered. The store said it was received as a pick-up. They offered to re-make out order, but we were pretty hungry and did not want to wait another 45 minutes to an hour. The order was for a cup and char pan, with pepperoni on half, of which there were about a dozen pieces of pepperoni....now you would think if you are paying for a pepperoni pizza and want half without, they would at least put some of that pepperoni on the other half. We normally have good service from the Palmyra store, but not today. Cold late food No compensation for the mistake Poorly executed food Very disappointing read more

We just came from NYC and this pizza is by far better the famous Joe's pizza in Time Square! The cheese sticks were bomb too. Highly recommend. read more

We went as a group of 18 and had a great time!! There were seats for us all, the service was amazing, and pizza was great!! They offered lots of coupons on the spot that we could take advantage of. Loved it! read more

You can't pick up the pizza. It is under cooked. You have to have a fork and knife to eat it. Every time we order pizza I get sick

just ordered two large subs from marks for almost 40 dollars half of each sub had one meatball cut into four pieces should've gone to Nima's

Got a cheese pizza and a mushroom/onion pizza. Sauce is excellent. Lots of flavor. If I got again would have extra sauce. The cheese was good. A little too much for me. I would get light cheese next time. The toppings were really good. The crust was nice too. Doughy and chewy which is what I like The store is really nice. Clean. All the employees were friendly. Lots of area to eat inside, even an outside seating area read more

I had a disappointing experience, so I messaged Mark's through their Facebook page - which has still not been read weeks later. I went to their website but the contact us form is broken. I emailed the only email address on the website and received no response. I'm sure I could go back to the store and request to speak to a manager, or I could tie up the phone lines trying to speak to someone, but in this day and age, wouldn't you think you could reach out to a business via electronic media and get a response? Pretty bad PR, in my opinion. Here's what I wrote: So listen. I love your pizza. Especially your pan pizza. So when I ordered at 430 on a Sunday and then arrived at 450 and it was just going in the oven that was total cool to wait another 15 minutes. But look. This is shabby pan pizza. I ordered half spinach and ricotta, half pepperoni. My online order number was 1128425. As you can see from the following photos, there isn't even one piece of spinach on each of the six oddly cut "squares." One of the pieces (the corner) has no topping at all. And the crust, well. It's not what I've been ordering lately for delivery at work there in Palmyra. So it's all cool because any Mark's pizza is decent pizza, but it's disappointing because it's not what I wanted or ordered - and now I'm not going to feel confident to ever order it again. read more

Fantastic pizza and service was incredible. Staff were so friendly! Would definitely visit again!

So there I was, just driving in my car when I saw a pizza delivery car for Mark's pizza. I was hooked. So I raced into town and had to order myself some of that dairy and meat delish! I was not disappointed. As I scarfed down my chicken bacon ranch pizza my stomach was doing a victory dance. The service was great, the tables were clean the pizza is well worth the visit! read more

It was a long drive in the morning and we decided to grab lunch in Palmyra. It was after 2, so the local highly-Yelp-rated cafe was closed so we popped in to Mark's for a quick bite. The staff was friendly. Got a little confused when we couldn't decide between getting a few slices or just ordering a fresh pizza. In hindsight, slices might have been better. When the pizza arrived, it looked good. The toppings were nicely cooked and brown, the cheese had a nice looking melt to it. The pizza was a little tough to serve as the cheese wanted to slide off, but that was ok. Taking a first bite showed the major failure here. The sauce. A few reviews complain about the dough, but it had a nice chew and was baked well so it was a good nibble. But the sauce. What a watery mess. The sauce tasted like it was near closing and they had run out and needed to stretch a single pizza worth of sauce fill the last several orders. There was no flavor. Maybe sitting on a warming tray would give the sauce time to evaporate and leave whatever hint of seasoning behind. read more

First time at this pizzeria. We loved it! Started with cheesey bread. Delicious. We got a sheet pizza (basically a big baking sheet) with half pepperoni and half meat lovers. The meat topping were fantastic. Even the ham was so tasty. The put sliced meatballs and italian sausage which rounded it out perfectly. My pickiest child even ate 4 pieces. (He won't eat pizza that is not from a chain restaurant.) read more

So there's a delivery driver, I think his name was Nick. He was fantastic! The most personable and polite driver I've ever met. I haven't had a bad driver. I'll for sure keep ordering. read more

My first time at this location. I decided to try their mozzarella cheese sticks. Nearly $9 for 5 even without marinara sauce. Imagine my surprise when they were ready in just 2 minutes. I said to the girl at the counter, "wow, that was fast!" As I got to my car I realized why. They were stone cold! I think I got someone's leftovers. read more

Limited selection while visiting palmyra and would say it was mediocre pizza. Took 40+ minutes to make an order of two pizzas and two orders of garlic knots. read more

I'm just not a fan of the pizza from by Marks. As far as quality, the Palmyra one is decent.

This pizzeria surpassed my expectations. Definitely rated too low. The pizza is some of the best I have had in a long time. Homemade tasting crust, yummy pizza sauce and great pizza flavors. read more

Have ordered probably a hundred times from them over the years. Always hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes less than desirable. Also be aware, should you have a problem with food, don't bother complaining. Management does not care, even had a delivery where $30 worth of wings was inedible, basically was told "oh well". So buyer beware. read more

Pretty greasey pizza. Held up the pizza and it dripped off. but....hey the kids liked it. We got the calzone also- the original - it was pretty dang good! Loved how soft the crust was and the cheese in it and was yummy. The cheese breads were good. Nothing amazing but again the kids liked it. read more

Just dropped $70 on a bunch of crap food! Sheet pizza was dry, & the toppings were skimpy. Teriyaki wings were old & dry. Loaded fries were just about inedible... they were put on aluminum foil and all the toppings were melded to the foil and could not be separated. Boneless garlic parm wings tasted like they had sat around all day! Totally gross experience! Back to Salvatore's! read more

Not the best, not the worst. I did have a poor experience where the pizza was covered in grease. I mean i picked up a slice and the oil dripped off like i just picked out of a full bathtub of oil. We didn't eat that pizza, they did make us a new one, which was slightly better, but the manager was so rude. They have nice coupons/deals. read more

This place was okay. We were on our way to MA and needed a bite, and honestly I wasn't much in the mood for pizza, but we saw this place and stopped in. I had a cordon bleu sandwich and it was okay, though it just felt heavy. The pizza was ginormous and my two kids and husband seemed content. read more

Completely overpriced. Had to pay .75 just to get some more ketchup. Customers had to clean their own tables. The trash cans were overflowing to the point that when we were finished, we could not even throw away our trash. They kept forgetting parts of our order, happened at least 3 times. The food was ok, not worth the price though. The pizza was beyond greasy. The salad looked like they ran to the nearest grocery store and just grabbed a packaged salad out of a vending machine. My husband actually went somewhere else afterwards to get something to eat. read more

We are riding our motorcycles and decided to stop in this small town for the night. We were both starving. Ordered wings and it took 35 min to get them. We were the only customer in the place. We got up after 30 minutes and they said they were still cooking. Really?? I think they forgot about us to be honest. Wings were ok but extremely messy. I needed a shower when I got done ! read more

Amazing pizza, calzone and stuffed bread. Highly recommend the buffalo blue chicken pizza and stuffed bread. Lots of food! Will be back

The pizza could have come out of the oven 5 minutes sooner. We waited a long time in an empty restaurant for burned greasy pizza and EVEN longer for Alfredo pasta ordered at the same time. Pasta was ok. Staff was friendly but not thrilled about long wait for blah food. read more

Im not from this area but I know Mark's pizza. Although it's consistently a tasty pizza, I'm not a fan mainly because of the overly sweet sauce and thick dough. However, I was staying in a hotel and they are usually the only place open past 9pm. I got delivery and ordered a medium pie. I asked for it to be made super thin with a very light amount of sauce. It arrived fresh and hot and the delivery driver was just outstanding. Very friendly!!! I ordered from the Palmyra location on Wednesday, February 14th at around 9:00 pm. The woman who took my order was not friendly at all and her poor attitude almost caused me to hang up. After my order was placed and she told me it would be around 45 minutes, I was in the middle of saying thank you and she just hung up the phone. My pizza was not made the way I asked and I had a feeling that was going to happen due to the poor attitude of the woman taking my order. One thing I can not tolerate, unfriendly people. Especially if I am buying something and the customer service stinks. Another issue, they charged 4.00 for local delivery. That's something I'm not use to at all. It cost me over 19.00 for a tiny medium sized pizza half plain and half with pepperoni, sausage, and onion. It honestly was the size of a personal sized pizza and the price is just ridiculous. However , if that's what they charge, and people pay it, so be it. However, this one star rating is curtesy of the woman who took my order. Great job in getting this pizza restaurant the lowest rating possible. read more

Not that great but not that terrible. They usually get something wrong with our delivery order (our order usually is fairly big, so maybe if you just order one or two things, they have an easier time). Wrong size sub, forget a sauce, something like that. The food is mostly pretty bland, too. I tried a sub with almost no flavor - hardly any mayo, the bacon was a pile of bacon bits that tasted like nothing besides a little salt, and the bread was like eating toasted air. The boneless wings were crispy but also tasteless (garlic parm has almost no garlic or cheese taste to it), ditto with the pepperoni stuffed bread. I could see the mozzarella inside but it was like chewing on a gob of dough. The pizza has been okay, a bit too doughy as well, but the sauce has a nice tangy tomato flavor. About the only thing I can praise is that the food usually arrives still hot and crispy where it's supposed to be. I've had other places deliver soggy fries, but Mark's manages to time things right. Their service is usually pretty professional, too. But it doesn't help much if nothing they bring is worth eating. read more

For the most part, I like there pizzas and food. For whatever reason, if we order food to be delivered, twice it never got here. We called and they say " food is on its way" and later say they can't find the order. No dinner on two occasions for our family. Very dissapointed, I called their corporate offices to complain but never heard a word back from them. We won't ever order food to be delivered from them again.. But, I do stop in and buy individual pizza slices and the employees are alwaya friendly. read more

I am not happy at all with this service, I live right down the street, they were amazing before and just have gotten worse over time. I ordered a large chicken bacon ranch pizza with extra sauce, I paid for extra sauce and there is no ranch on it at all! Then they tell me that my order is more than it said it was on my receipt and yes I ordered online and do know there is a delivery fee, but any other time they charge me exact amount at the door as they say after I order it. Last time I ordered a pizza it took over an hour after saying it was delivered to be delivered down the street. Guess I'm changing stores. read more

Our family has been buying from Mark's for years. It seems ever since they replaced their ovens for the belt type ovens, their pizzas are terribly greasy.
