If you are looking for good food in palmyra LOOK NO FURTHER! This place is amazing and it truly had the small town vibes we were looking for. Service was amazing and the lady looking after us was super nice and funny and made sure we had everything we needed. The day we went the A/C was actually broken and it was a little hot inside but it was no problem since it was a cooler day. If you have a large family like us I 100% recommend the sheet pizza since it is only $20 (additional cost depending on toppings) and we easily fed all 6 of us and we even had some leftovers. We had it split with veggie garlic and chicken bacon ranch but our favorite was definitely the veggie garlic. 10/10 recommend To top it all off the cookie was solid read more

Delicious pizza slices served fresh. Very large slice for $3 feels like a steal. The dining room is large and specious. Very quiet location. I had the whole dining area to myself on a weekday afternoon. The staff was friendly and the service fast. Ordered and my slice was ready just a few minutes later read more

It doesn't look like much when you pull up into the parking lot but the food was amazing!! We ate chocolate chip cookies and had their bacon, chicken, ranch pizza. We ordered a large and ate all but two pieces. It was so good. Highly, highly recommend this place!!! read more

I can't say enough good things......Nima's made our Family Reunion a huge success. Rob was easy to work with and was very patient with my anxiety. The food was delicious and delivered on time, the right temperatures and in dependable foil pans with serving pieces. I am a customer forever!!!! Bish Rush. July 22, 2023 read more

Just never liked the food, it's greasy and seems unhealthy. The staff when I have gone on occasion have been snippy.

This is a really small place. The food and service were great. My friend and I got the calzone and the lady taking our order immediately told us to just get one and split it because it was so big. Boy, was she right. We split it and still had enough leftovers for another meal. The calzone was so delicious too, even the next day.Calzone read more

Great calzones and Caesar salad. We came to visit palmyra and we were excited to find a good pizza place. We will be coming back.

My friend and I were in the area and were surprised by a chill and snowstorm. We stopped in and we're delighted by the service and warm delicious meal! Calzone to die for! read more

Great food & friendly service! The slice is the perfect size. You get a nice view of the town from inside.

Best pizza in Palmyra by far! Chicken wings delicious and cheapest in town subs were good

This review is about two weeks overdue, life happens. Either way, i walked into Nimas looking to order food, with my toddler. Upon walking in there was an employee behind the counter, facing the wall with his phone (attached to the charger plugged into the wall). I approached the counter and assumed maybe he was deep in thought and figured i would wait another second or two, i wasn't in a hurry. Without putting his phone down, or even turning around, he asked what i needed. as good as their food can be, that right there turned me off for good. It wasn't busy, there was no one else inside, and it seemed that he could not be bothered to make eye contact with me. I hope whatever he was doing on his phone was worth ignoring a customer.. we more than likely will not be bad. too bad read more

It took over an hour to get two pizzas!!! Seriously- it takes 5 min to place toppings on already made dough, 10 min in a extremely hot oven= 15 min total to receive a cooked pizza. The management and staff are inadequately trained to handle amount of people over four tables and it is very obvious. When you know a lot of people are coming to your small town to see the ANNUAL hill cumourah pageant that has been happening for several decades, you should prepare the staff and restaurant for handling rushes especially when you are located in downtown Palmyra. Instead of making the situation better by giving some kind of appetizer to ravenous customers that are cranky for waiting over an hour for pizza, they were non-apologetic and did NOTHING to make the wait shorter. They put our pizzas in waaaay after at least four tables came and went. What was managements response- to give us a free pizza. While I appreciate the last minute effort, I think the whole situation could have been fixed waaay earlier. Foodwise, the pizza was decent but after waiting over an hour, any pizza would be good since you are sooo hungry. This place needs to get their BUSINESS together. No pizza is better than NYC pizza but the service was ATROCIOUS!! TRAIN your staff! Get your act together! read more

Ordered a calzone for takeout and it was decent. I ordered pepperoni and sausage with the sauce on the side and it was fairly good. I would've ordered extra cheese if I knew they skimped on that end of things but the coarse salt they put on top was good flavor, yet some people could probably do without. More cheese, maybe some ricotta in there and it would've been great. Crispy crust, dough was cooked through and the toppings were good. I'd come again but would order differently. read more

I dream of this place. I had the calzone and it does take a while to get your food but it is so worth it. The bread absolutely melts in your mouth. Defiantly a must have. read more

Edible but mediocre pizza. Unfriendly and extremely slow service. Had to remind them of our order several times.

Best pizza in Palmyra, but not much available to be fair. Reasonable price for a decent pizza. Would recommend if one must eat in Palmyra.

Never has been a place I would eat at.. They have been there for many years. I did not like the serves or the food last time I visited. We ordered a pizza but I did not Cate for crust or sauce. read more

Pizza was under cooked, sauce thin and runny. Overall not worth it, better off getting a frozen pizza.

Love love love Nimas. I love that authentic thin crust pizza. The sauce is amazing. I love this place with my whole heart.

Staff was disorganized and the register was not run smoothly. We heard the girl that register telling the guy in the back that he messed up orders. Pizza did not look great and the onions were chopped in small pieces. Not sure if owned by same owner as Clifton, but I like the Clifton location way better. read more

Food was ok. Cheese they used was delicious. Price was reasonable. Staff seemed a little grumpy. Easy to get to in downtown palmyra. No public bathrooms. Drinks are bottles and cans and some were a little warm. Overall not a bad stop in the tiny town. read more

The pizza is definitely good but their wings are possibly the best I've ever had. I got them in the buffalo hot sauce and it's probably the best hot sauce I've tasted. I asked for them extra crispy which I suggest you do. Most pizzerias have average middle of the road wings, but not this place. They have a huge menu and everything looks good but I can't go there and not get wings. This place is the best! read more

Huge Calzones. Super yummy. A very popular stop when hill cumorah pageant is happening, so if its pageant time... You better be prepared to wait. There are only 2 pizza choices in Palmyra and Nimas is the best option overall. read more

Stopped in here while cycling the Erie Canal trail. It is only a short 2 minute ride from the Canal Path and there is room to put your bike right in front where you can keep an eye on it. Typical pizza shop menu. We ordered calzone's which were not only delicious but HUGE. I was hungry enough to put one away, but my wife could only do half. The guy at the counter offered to wrap the other half in aluminum foil and put it in a take home box, so we could put it in our bike bags. We stored it in the fridge at the B&B we stayed at, and packed it up the next morning as we headed east. It really hit the spot for lunch. Will definitely stop back here if we are in Palmyra again. read more

So so. Better than some. It's good if you're hungry. One-night stand pizza. For the pizza you take home to Mama, go to Trumansburg, NY and order ANYTHING from the NY Pizza Restaurant, right on Main Street next to the Rongovian Embassy. Fabrizio is the owner, comes from Italy, worked in Brooklyn and bought the restaurant from the previous (Italian, from Italy) owner who taught him all the secrets. This is NY Style pizza to die for. Places like Nima's and Mark's are pretenders. This is the real deal. (Closed Mondays) read more

There are not many food options in Palmyra NY but we hit the jackpot with Nima's. We loved the food. We shared a salad to start, then pizza by the slice was next. Each slice was quite large. I loved the NY style crust that was a little crispy with each bite. Then came the Calzone. Since they said that was their specialty, we ordered one and were not disappointed! Staff was nice. Service was good. Food was excellent. Nima's has a "hole in the wall" feel to it which is fun! We will go back in future years on our family road trips! read more

Agree with Ladd. Huge calzones can easily feed 2. They are quite good, too. Not much choice in Palmyra for food, but you can do a lot worse than Nima's. read more

Loved this place. The staff was friendly as was the owner. My husband got a cheesesteak not expecting much and he loved it. It was huge and well done. We all enjoyed the food. So, let me say that I mean no harm to the good people that work here. However, I had a very displeasing experience today with the girl on the phone. I called to order for pick up, she says it will be thirty minutes. (Long time as it is) but I'm not impatient. I take off to go pick up the food. There's some event going on down the street from where the restaurant is and parking is nuts. She didn't mention that. But that's ok, maybe she assumed I would know. But apparently, I didn't. I take several minutes trying to get around all the road blocks to get to them and can't get there. So I call to have my food delivered instead. Again, not impatient. But then, she puts me on hold for 10 minutes! I can hear her chatting away with customers and coworkers; no care in the world. I am realizing she's forgotten about me. But like an idiot, stay on the phone a bit longer. I hang up cuz she is not even thinking about the phone at this point. I call back immediately and it's busy, busy and busy. For the next 5 minutes or so. Finally there's an answer. I tell her that I was left on hold for 10 minutes and she has the audacity to say, "oh sorry, I forgot and then the phone rang and we got like 5 orders just now." I'm trying to be polite but she's pushing it. I tell her that I can't get to the restaurant and she says there's parking in front of their place but I am not going back. I want it delivered. She so nonchalantly takes my address and says it will be "30 MORE minutes." No more apologies. So now I have to wait 45 minutes instead of 30 extra. And actually, I am writing this as I am waiting for the food and it's been 40 minutes. Terrible! Terrible service. She needs some manners and professionalism. I understand mistakes, but an attitude like that, is not ok. read more
