Love their Greek salad with grilled chicken! Much better than Leo's version and pretty sure their dressing is homemade, it's that good!

I know many others think they're better but this one has the best chili on chili dogs or omelettes if you're in for breakfast.

The food, though, lands squarely in the "just okay" category. The calamari came with a honey glaze that made them noticeably sweet. If you enjoy sweet‑leaning seafood dishes, you might love it, but it wasn't my favorite combination. The beer, on the other hand, outshines the food by a mile. I had the Heavenly Hefeweizen, and it was excellent smooth, refreshing, and easily the highlight of the meal. I also had the hot chocolate which was tasty and rich, but it comes topped with a giant marshmallow. It looks great for photos, but once you start drinking it, things get messy fast. Service was fine overall, nothing special, nothing terrible. The host, however, came off a bit rude and had us waiting even though there were plenty of open tables. My guess is they're short‑staffed, which might explain the delay, but the attitude didn't help. The bathroom could also use a more thorough cleaning. All in all, it's a nice spot for drinks and atmosphere, but the food and service have room to grow. If you're here for a good beer and a relaxed vibe, you'll probably enjoy it

Our server was quite efficient and pleasant. A bonus was that the manager/owner (?) came over to check on us and have a brief discussion. I had the fish and chips for lunch. I found it to be filling and tasty. My wife had a salad - no matter the weather, she enjoys a good salad and combo. I should note here that the restaurant is very accommodating to those who are GF and those who have a few other types of food allergies. As a GF, she really appreciates this. DropTop is one of those small local spots that surprises you with how well developed and…read morethoughtfully run it is. The burgers are easily the standout!! juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shakes are AMAZING, and the pizza is different and big size, making it great for sharing. The fries are another win: crispy, well‑seasoned, and addictive. The environment is nice and cozy, which adds to the charm, though I do wish they had more tables. That said, they've optimized the experience by offering a separate pickup door, which makes takeout incredibly smooth and efficient... a smart move for a small business. What really elevates DropTop is the staff. They're super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and you can tell they care about the food and the customers. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The burgers were my favorite, but honestly, everything I tried was solid.

I had the Super Sport Pizza and it was outstanding. The rest of my family did the BYO pizza options due to gluten and dairy sensitivities and said the crust was the best GF crust they've had, and were stoked to be able to have it Detroit style! We also tried the Motor Oil Wings and they were excellent! Nicely sized wings and a good portion. The sauce was rich and umami just as described on the menu. I loved the dedicated "To Go" area in the alley behind the restaurant, close to the parking lot; not having to go inside the main area to fight through the people (it was crowded the night we ordered), was a big bonus. The staff working the to-go counter was friendly, fast, and helpful. We ordered online and everything was ready exactly at the promised time. We will 100% be back!

You'd be surprised how many places just have orange and tomato. I like scrambles and omelettes a lot. Good veggies and meats in them too. They donr forget extras like butters, jellies/jams and silverware. Its definitely the little things that add up here. Worth a stop. Not fancy but tasty.

They usually recognize me when I walk in and know where I go and sit in the corner, just like my days in school. They bring me my coffee and promptly take my order. The service is always very good and very friendly. If you need to know anything about Michigan football, just ask James, he keeps up on all the thing's going on at the U. As far as the food goes, it's always fresh and a lot of it. I've never left there feeling hungry. There's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is clean.
