Went on a Niagara Falls trip with some classmates recently and we stopped at this diner. I ordered a plain "Sal", aka an egg and potato dish, which came with toast. Looking around at other ppl's orders, I could see that the food is made well. Only real criticism I have is that the food isn't really seasoned, but take it with a grain of salt because I frequently crave burn-your-bootyhole spicy food. Fantastic little spot in the "Little Italy" section of Niagara Falls. We were seated immediately and got our coffee & Pepsi within a minute. This magical restaurant had some of the best breakfast food I've ever had. This restaurant is only 5 minutes away from the falls yet it is 10 times better than the breakfast available at most other establishments. I highly recommend the pancakes! They're light and fluffy and delicious. I also got the spinach and feta omelette which was superb. The homemade Italian bread that came with that dish was heavenly. The service was great and the people were friendly. This restaurant has been open for 50 years and cooks everything on cast iron. I found the space to be quaint and pleasant. The place is a bit hard to find and not in the nicest area of the Falls, but the customer service and food more than make up for anything else. I had the breakfast sandwich, which was served on delicious bread and was appetizing, filling and a steal. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. We sat outside and they were more than happy to pull up additional tables for our group and even melted some cheese on a bagel on request. First, let me say the owner of this restaurant was so sincere and nice to us. He greeted us in the dining room while we waited for our to-go plates and since we're from out of town gave us background on what the community has gone through during the lockdown. Such a great guy even gave us free drinks. I ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The bread was buttery and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We also got the French toast which didn't last long in the car. Lol The community was pretty quiet since the pandemic has impacted businesses. We were glad we came since another customer recommend Devils Hole Trail that made our trip. Will have to come back on our next visit. read more

The vibe was old school diner/cafe and our server was friendly and shared the story of Sal Maglie while we were there. The kiddos enjoyed the French toast with fresh berries. I usually feel breakfast is the biggest waste of money when eating out but I would come back to Marketside any time we find ourselves back in the area for great food and good prices. read more

My boyfriend and I visited Niagara Falls and wanted to visit a breakfast spot. This place had good reviews so we were anxious to try. Upon arrival of the place, we were greeted by, I believe, the host. She was very welcoming and sat as down. Next, once we got sat down to our table it took a while for us to get attended to. However, I do understand that the place was extremely busy so we both took that into consideration. Once our waitress came to our table she greeted us, gave our drinks, and took our orders. The coffee that she brought to our table was so rushed that the coffee spilled on the table (waitress did not apologize nor clean it), but we cleaned it ourselves and ignored that. This is where things kind of got worse. We waited SO LONG for our food. Customers that got in after us got their food before us, so that is quite odd... We never got an update from our waitress. We see her having side conversations with other customers and coworkers but not with us. So we had the feeling we were feeling isolated in a way we weren't for sure of. We had to raise our hand and get her attention for a while to get a update. Anywho, food was great, just the service was not. I wish I can get our waitress's name but she did not even give that info. All I remember she is short, petite, black hair. But shame on you for giving us such pity service. read more

This place is a local go-to. Being out of town, my family and I really wanted to find somewhere away from the tourist crowds. We found that it was nearly impossible. However, this place is the opposite of that. The interior reminded me of a local diner tucked away outside of the tourist traps, yet close enough to my family's hotel. It was busy inside, yet flowing with more locals looking for that family-made brunch. I got the French toast and ham breakfast sandwich. The French toast is a must -- the fruit was fresh, the toast had that perfect soft/fluffy feeling in your mouth. The ham/egg sandwich was surprisingly simple, yet flavorful. My waitress told me the bread was from a local bakery, and you could 100% tell the difference between this and a fast food sandwich. The service was so good! One of the chefs brought out extra pancakes and was offering it anyone who wanted some. My aunt really wanted extra eggs and toast after the staff had started cleaning up. I was telling her to respect the cooking hours, but the chef heard us and cooked her request right away. We were so appreciative. Not only that, but they frequently came back to refill our coffees. Awesome little breakfast spot a short drive away from Niagara Falls State Park. The owner came out and greeted the customers, most by first name, which was nice. Definitely makes you feel like this is more of a locals spot than for tourists but staff was very nice and friendly. The food was awesome. I read the reviews and it seemed the Sal Maglie + Everything was the way to go. Spoiler alert...it was. In laments terms I'd describe it as a dismantled omelette but that doesnt really do it justice. Its scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, peppers, ham, bacon all mixed together cooked perfectly and seriously delicious. If you stop here definitely get the Sal Maglie! Visiting from out of town found this place on a search. Was clean and food was good. But service was not. Was abandoned by my service person. I felt like I was in her way. Got up to allow new folks my table and pay my bill and no one helped for a bit, then started the credit card transaction and walked away. I left a nice tip because that's what I do, but the service was not good. The person who invited me in to be seated was nice but she was serving other tables. My server walked away from me when I asked her questions. So I am talking about two servers here who were exhibiting no semblance of welcome or friendliness. read more
