We came to this restaurant on Recommendation from Player Sports bar. We tried a variety of menu options: Buffalo chicken wraps, chicken fajita wraps, pizza, salad. All of it was very good and the restaurant personnel were very friendly and helpful. Total bill was under $100 for 7 people, with tip, we thought that was very reasonable. Very good food. Those buffalo chicken wraps were spicy!

The business is located close to the hotel, so access and parking was great and accessible. Ordered pizza and salad and was ready within 20 minutes. Pizza looked great; have never seen black olives that large on a pizza before. The whole experience was smooth. Everyone was very nice and attentive. If you're in the area to visit Niagara Falls, this is a must stop!

Ambience with locals lovely, #servers friendly. They phoned me quickly to retrieve forgotten item Stick to Authentic, being from California i ordered a hybrid w habanero, however it needed a lighter touch. Sadly no freshly grated cheese was available which diminishes experience but that may be a supply chain dilemma. Overall due stars for ambience and stick to it tive ness in this Economy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow! When is the last time a sub brownout away??? Come here to find out. Everything looked so good. Someone ordered a toco salad and pizza. Looked amazing

Donatellos is a hole in the wall restaurant. The workers are extremely nice and welcoming. The food was wonderful. My family got a little bit of everything... chicken, pizza, and shrimp and not a single one of us had any complaints!

This is what you call a quintessential NY pizzeria. No muss and no fuss. What they do have is a very friendly staff. The one employee immediately welcomed us when we stepped in and gave us instructions on how their ordering process goes. The older gentleman was a sweet and welcoming guy. He brought over a horseshoe magic trick for my kids. They weren't able to solve the trick, but their old dad knows a thing or two and figured it out. Now the food: I generally don't gravitate to pizza for food when out of town, unless it's a small, local business. Those are the types of places that generally make legitimately good pizza. Donatello's does not disappoint. The pizza had the right amount of sauce and very tasty without tasting sweet as some of the national chains usually taste like. The other key factor into a good pizza is the crust. When I saw one of my kids move to throw away their crust, I almost screamed! Nope. That crust is entering my belly! As I alluded to earlier, the place is not much to look at. It adds to its charm and the fact that a large, if not majority, portion of their business is takeout. If you're on the US side of the Falls, then give this place a try!

Great pizza. Even better than some of the NYC pizza we had a few days later. Plus owner gave kids a puzzle to figure out. Nice guy!

Extremely delicious for the home cooked style foods. Many places do not make pizza like Donatello's.

I was really excited to try this place and looking forward to the sweet sauce. I actually drove out…read moreof my way for it. I was let down. First off I will say, no complaints on the price or customer service. The woman was so friendly and personable it made me not want to leave a review since it's not a good one. She was a gem; the pizza: not so much. And judging by the reviews here, maybe it was just an off moment. The sauce wasn't so sweet as I wanted. But that's subjective. However, what I hated the most was my slices were soggy and cold. I mean so soggy I couldn't even eat my last slice. And cold it should not be, as I ate it in my car on the street because I live 35 mins away. I really wanted to love it here after my great customer service experience but unfortunately my experience with the pizza itself was not as great as everyone else's. If I ever happen to have it again (I go to Lewiston often), and have a better quality slice, I will update review but sadly it missed the mark for me.

I don't get to "Pisa Often." Which is a shame because I am leaning towards saying Italia is the…read moremost beautiful country on earth. But that would be cheesy and I might change my mind tomato morning. Then again, of crust, I may not. Someone in media told me Italia might become the official "world beauty capital" but I don't want to name my sauce. And I don't put salt on my Italian food btw, I put pepperonly. What to get: a slice of Pizza for around a dollar. Also if you're at a local Greek place, I recommend ordering your "Pita Open." But this place doesn't serve Open Pitas despite the name. It only serves one thing. And that is: alcohol to minors. Oh wait. That's the liquor store across the street. What I meant to say was: PIZZA. What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is more delicious than ANYTHING you will ever eat in Pisa. As we know, someone that drinks as much water as I do... Pisa lot. But we also have exceptionally clean systems which allow our taste buds to properly savour and enjoy the exquisite tastes such as that of the cheapest and most yummylicious Pizza you will ever try in your life. What I am trying to tell you is... THIS MIGHT WELL BE THE BEST TASTING PIZZA IN THE WORLD. It is completely different from the doughy likes of Imperial and Mattina's and Franco's (prob the best 3 in the Buffalo area). It is nothing like the crisp enormous NYC slice. It is nowhere near the deep dish made famous by Shy-town. It's something all unto itself. St. Louis claims to own the "square slice" but their version has NOTHING on this. It's AMAZING. Niagara Falls is now officially (I have decreed it so) the owner of the square slice, and this little gemtastic gem is the heart and soul of what NF Pizza is. Ask ANYONE from NF and the chances are they will tell you that if you only ever have one slice in your life, have one of these. Surely the hype can't be matched by the product? Yes it f***ing well is. Trust me. So a slice is $1.25 and it's small, but it's so yummy that you won't care how small it is. And if that's an issue, just get 2 or 3 or 7 or 27 or 69. The bad news about this place is all about availability and there are several issues. (a) They close ALL SUMMER LONG because it's too hot inside, yet they still pay their employees for the duration. (b) They are ONLY open on Thu-Fri-Sat-maybe Sun (can't remember), which means for three days a week even in snowy season, you are SOL. And I don't mean a bright star warming up the Milky Way in Spanish. (c) They run out of pizzas, or are all booked up, so if you want a full pie you should call WAY in advance to place the order... but slices so far, for me, have been easier to come by as a walk in. (d) I don't think you can even walk in and order a full pizza anymore. They do keep tons of slices ready to go and they are nice and hot, so that is a bonus. And I paid for one, and they gave me two. How lovely is that? I know it's not in a great area but WHO CARES. This type of area needs your support more than fancy burbs anyway, and nothing's going to happen to you from stopping by here. This is America. It's not like anyone carries guns or anything. So yes, this is one of the best slices in WNY, possibly even #1, and it is one of the best in the world. Drive very fast (don't get a ticket) to Viagra Falls immediately, and purchase one of these. Get a Viola's Steak and Cheese too. You don't have to thank me. I am so glad that I have a new reason to visit the Viagra Falls. I used to not like it because it's full of horny old men, hence the name. But then as I said in another review, my friend Alice moved up there. So now I go fairly regularly to Cialis.
