The food was amazing! We came with 10 people, and the owner greeted us right away and helped us with everything we needed. He was super kind and even brought out a metal illusion puzzle for us while we waited for our food, which was such a thoughtful touch. The Ninja Turtles decorations all over the walls make the place feel really fun and give Donatello's a cool atmosphere. Great food, great service, and we'll definitely be back when we visit Niagara Falls again! read more

Donatello's Restaurant - Pepperoni Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Niagara Falls, New York

Here on vacation and I had seen good reviews. It was a nice little pizza place. We had a personal Italiano pizza and 10 wings, medium. Everything was delicious! We asked for water and they brought us out a pitcher which was much appreciated as we were walking. Pizza had a nice crunchy crust which we loved! Toppings were great too! I want to go back and try another pizza while we're here! The wings were great too! Loved the medium sauce. Crispy and hot out of the fryer! We ate every bit of it! They were busy and I saw some huge amazing looking salads come out! Wish they were close to us! Highly recommend! read more

A great find. Looks like mom and pop operation serving great food! Pizza was delicious. Serving size was huge. Ordered the half tray thinking it would be a half a pan but it was much bigger than expected. Wings was crispy and seasoned just right. Parking at the city lot next door was free. So a great experience overall. read more

We stopped by this place for lunch after our visit to The Niagara Falls State Park. We ordered a whole pepperoni pizza pie and some chicken wings and we love them. The pizza was fresh made and came out hot. It was very cheesy and my kids love it. The amount of pepperoni was generous. The chicken wings were tasty. It was more like a self service sit down place which you could get your own drinks from the fridge and paid at the end of the meal. The food was good, but the seating was very limited and not good for big group. The table was very sticky when we sat down. Street parking, but parking was relatively easy to find during our visit. read more

We came to this restaurant on Recommendation from Player Sports bar. We tried a variety of menu options: Buffalo chicken wraps, chicken fajita wraps, pizza, salad. All of it was very good and the restaurant personnel were very friendly and helpful. Total bill was under $100 for 7 people, with tip, we thought that was very reasonable. Very good food. Those buffalo chicken wraps were spicy! read more

The service and the atmosphere there was super friendly and welcoming. The owner there gave the table in front of us an illusion game, which the kiddos loved. Plus they have a little bucket of TMNT toys for kids to pick out of at the end of your meal. The Donatello decorations were absolutely darling, and added a nice, iconic touch to the restaurant. On top of that, the pizza was absolutely delicious and filling. I only got a single slice and it was still filling and delicious even after they reheated it :) The prices are very reasonable too. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the Niagara Falls area!! read more

The business is located close to the hotel, so access and parking was great and accessible. Ordered pizza and salad and was ready within 20 minutes. In search of great food in the Niagara region, wow, we are pleasantly surprised and appreciative of this hometown quaint family run business! The hostess was very friendly and helpful, gave me great options and brought the food to the table. We order fish fry, Friday special; you have to try this flaky white fish cooked to perfection. A full menu to choose from, great for many food options . The atmosphere was lively and friendly, many local people with children and couples included. Very convenient in the middle of town, walking distance to everything. This place is a must try for any and all food preferences! You will NOT be disappointed, i promise read more

Donatello's Restaurant - Personal Pie with Pepperoni, Ham, and Jalapeños - Pizza Near Me - Niagara Falls, New York

This is what you call a quintessential NY pizzeria. No muss and no fuss. What they do have is a very friendly staff. The one employee immediately welcomed us when we stepped in and gave us instructions on how their ordering process goes. The older gentleman was a sweet and welcoming guy. He brought over a horseshoe magic trick for my kids. They weren't able to solve the trick, but their old dad knows a thing or two and figured it out. Now the food: I generally don't gravitate to pizza for food when out of town, unless it's a small, local business. Those are the types of places that generally make legitimately good pizza. Donatello's does not disappoint. The pizza had the right amount of sauce and very tasty without tasting sweet as some of the national chains usually taste like. The other key factor into a good pizza is the crust. When I saw one of my kids move to throw away their crust, I almost screamed! Nope. That crust is entering my belly! As I alluded to earlier, the place is not much to look at. It adds to its charm and the fact that a large, if not majority, portion of their business is takeout. If you're on the US side of the Falls, then give this place a try! read more

After visiting Niagara Falls from the New York side, we were ready for lunch. We used Yelp to look for a good place to eat and discovered Donatello's, which is very close to the Niagara Falls International Rainbow Bridge. Since Donatello's received an average of a 4.5 star review and had over 270 reviews, we figured we would try out this mom & pop restaurant. There is no parking lot, so you have to find street parking, which may be difficult during the peak hours. It is self-seating inside, so you order first and find a table to sit. As for the food, I didn't think it was all special. The wings were just okay, but I really liked their service and enjoyed the friendly conversation with the owner. He shared his story that his son's favorite character was Donatello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He does have some Donatello artwork and toys around his restaurant. Overall.., I would give this place a 3.5 star review. I'm willing to back here to try out his other items the next time I'm visiting Niagara Fall from the New York side. read more

Great hot and cold sandwiches, slices, and economical but tasty full party trays. My go-tos when dining alone are their personal pizzas $10-12 (which are slightly undercooked for my taste- ask for well done/ crispy) and large fries ($4). read more

I'm actually surprised at the high reviews, because that absolutely wasn't our experience. Ordered delivery from them while we were staying in Niagara Falls, based pretty much on the high rating. What we ordered was a beef on weck sandwich (a regional specialty featuring horseradish), a cheeseburger, a side of garlic bread, and a couple cans of Coke. The order came promptly. What we got were soggy and cold fries with our sandwiches, lukecold bread that didn't taste at all like garlic. My sandwich was okay, but my horseradish-loving wife reported that the beef on weck was barely edible. And for this meal, we paid $55, including tip. We would have had far more food, hot to boot, if we'd just stopped in at a pizza place on the way back to the hotel. We would NOT patronize this place again. read more

Great service and great staff. We just had a couple of subs and gravy fries, so it came out pretty quick. Again, it was just a couple of subs, but they were very good! I highly recommend the grilled chicken and turkey club. Since the sandwiches were that good, I imagine the rest of their menu is pretty good too. We'll definitely be back when we're back in town, I know our boys would love it! read more
