Brunch

I enjoyed breakfast here. It was fresh, the selection was a little limited. Service was fast. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with a glass of water

Nice place. Not The Ritz, but also not Denny's.

This is one of Towson's best kept secrets. Most people aren't accustomed to grabbing a good meal in a department store, but anyone who has done some shopping in the East coast Mecca of Manhattan knows this is almost traditional premium retail at its best (you'll find restaurants on 5th avenue inside Saks, Macys, etc.) The same approach to service exists within Nordstrom's approach to making and serving food. The service process is a bit different, but don't let this throw you off. You order and pay for your meal up front and grab a seat. A server then finds you and your ticket, and begins to bring it all out to you. You leave a tip at the end. The menu is a creative departure from hamburger this and sandwich that. You will find yourself reading through your options twice or thrice as some of the flavors and ideas are so different, but within the margins of "I've had something like that before." And the menu changes! I'd say they do an update of 10% of the options every 6 months. The Cafe also has a variety of desserts, soups, and drinks. There is plenty of seating and the place pulls an impressive crowd most late week lunches and dinners. The service, as you'd expect at Nordstrom, is outstanding. The only negative is that it does get super busy at times, leaving you with the challenge of finding a place to sit. You end up stalking people who are nibbling on their final crumbs. Once they get up, you're forced to jump into their grave and stare at their moist mess until service can free themselves to clean it up. This is a systemic problem, and one that I deem unavoidable and infrequent. Don't sleep on Nordstrom Cafe. While I wouldn't recommend bringing a date here, it's a great place for any other connection.

Chinese chicken salad. It was really good!

What a gem in the middle of a clothing store! Who would've thought. This place serves healthy food cooked by a Chef. Typically places like these, serve prepackaged food. This is an actual restaurant. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad and it was really good. The service was good as well. The cashier and server were very friendly. I'll definitely be back. This is a great place if you want a salad, sandwich or healthy entrée.

I love this place! One of the better department store café experiences you've probably ever experienced in today's world. At least in Baltimore. The only thing that could be better is having a personal butler! The menu is diverse and completely health-oriented. The prices are reasonable. There's a ginger peach iced tea which is rare if you can ever find it elsewhere. They sell their own cookbooks. The staff is very courteous and helpful. It's usually never too busy so you can truly relax after exhausting yourself shopping! Much more relaxing than the food court here at the mall. That area is always packed.

Chinese chicken salad. Love this salad!

I'm not sure I even know where to start. Me and my best friend rolled up (without reservations -…read moreoops) but were greeted and seated almost immediately. The area near the front window almost feels like a private table. It was definitely giving a great vibe. We checked the menu prior to picking this place and they had EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a big ole brunch of their Grand Marnier Strawberry French Toast which was a three stack of THICCCCC cut Texas bread. It was better than I hoped for! And I brought at least half of it home, because ole greedy butt over here also got the platter with the home fries (I asked for onions and got this caramelized onion topping that was almost a jam. Yummm), the bacon and the eggs your way (scrambled with cheese). My companion had this big ole omelette with a lot of veggies and shared my french toast. The sauce they served with the home fries was sooooo good - it was almost like Heinz 57 sauce but with less of a vinegary bite. The jam that came for my English Muffin was delicious and praise GOD they served butter that wasn't ice cold and unspreadable so yeah hella points for that. For the mimosas, we did the "buy the carafe and the bottle", with a carafe of cranberry juice and a bottle of Cava Prosecco. I loved that we were able to select WHICH bubbles we wanted and for two people it worked out very well price wise. The host (tall guy with a mohawk) and our server (Robyn) were absolutely fantastic. Personable and friendly and very attentive, very much able to answer any questions we had (THANK YOU ROBYN!!!). In short - this place is a gem and yall should go! Be mindful of the parking in the area, but dont let that stop you from a delicious meal in a lovely setting!!

This is easily one of my top breakfast spots--the pancakes and the blueberry French toast are insane. Like, OMG I want to go get some now! Lol. If you're looking for a fun brunch with 70's music, good vibes, and good people, this is the place. Just a heads up: the space is small and the bar isn't always open, so I highly recommend making reservations. Great food, great energy, great brunch experience.

Food is usually fabulous. Get the cream of crab soup and mix it with their vegetable crab soup (…read morehalf & half) you will live it! I tend to order the steak salad almost every time i have lunch. At night they have a seafood stew that my spouse orders always! The desserts are great- dont have any negatives at this point and have been going there for years! Ambiance is also nice! Enjoy!!! Service is occasionally rushed but staff are genuinely friendly. We were seated on what appeared to be the enclosed patio. It looked like they probably have the ability to partially open it up in the nicer months. The server was friendly and attentive and explained the menu to us. When choosing an entree we were able to have a soup or salad and dessert. If you didn't want the dessert you could order soup and salad. I ordered the beef short rib and had the beet salad as an appetizer. He had the lamb chops with a Caesar salad and Maryland crab soup. The appetizers were good and he enjoyed his lamb chops. My short rib was not that great. The meat had a ton of fat in it and overall was not my favorite. Short rib is something I order often from various restaurants.

I just wanted a basic pizza at a basic affordable price. I felt like I got what I wanted here…read more The pizza is about average or slightly above -- The crust is leaning towards the thin side but still with rise, doughy/bready with some chew to it. The rind leaves a little to be desired. I feel like a pizza is all about balance - The sauce, cheese, toppings, and crust should all work together in harmony. I think Pizza Sauce's pizza did that. The crust wasn't too salty as some place's are; the sauce was tomato-y tart, the cheese was standard slightly salty "mutz". Everything came together well - though maybe not memorable, and not placing in any top 10 in my book. This is not to say the pizza is bad by any means. I would rate this above Papa John's. The dining area is large, clean, and spacious amplified by the wall of mirrors -- and with a TV. The clerk was more interested talking to the crew in back than staying out front. While I would eat here again, I would try one of the many offerings nearby first. 3.5 stars rounded upwards to 4.

Ambiance is the same, service is the same, but the offerings? I'm sure there are menus but I didn't see any. There were 3 pre-made pizzas ready to sell by the slice but not the 7-15 options from yesteryear. The pizza ovens have been replaced with conveyer belt ovens. Likewise, the quality went from great to "well, it's food". I don't know how but the pizza looks and tastes like a good frozen. Serving size is great, cheese is acceptable, dough is meh, sauce is meh. If you want pizza around these parts, turn left out of the parking lot and drive the extra 10 minutes to the Towson Pasta Mista.
