Obviously I would tip, but with laser away its all up front which is great! The only thing that I feel like LaserAway could have is music while patients are getting their lips done/other procedures. Based on their confidence, I paid upfront for tattoo removal and 3 syringes of filler. Right after the first tattoo removal session, I was told the tattoo removal wouldn't work because of the ink color -- something they absolutely should've mentioned before selling me a package. With the filler, I was only given half a syringe (with no explanation until after I paid), the filler was placed wrong and was injected on the inside of my mouth as opposed to around the lips where it's supposed to go. It was done in small section so you could see where the product was and wasn't. I was told that it would need to be dissolved because I had a bad reaction- I've been getting filler for years, but again trusted them, so I got it dissolved and came back. When I returned to get the rest, they told me they'd thrown it out because "they can't store it so I need to purchase more" Again -- never disclosed until it was too late. I asked for a refund and was told several times it was being processed, but months went by with no response. I followed up constantly, stayed patient and respectful, and was either ignored or brushed off. Finally, someone from their national office called me -- he was rude, aggressive, and sarcastic from the second I answered. When I asked him not to talk over me, he paused for a full minute just to say, "Just wanted to make sure you were done before I was allowed to speak." Then he hung up on me when I address his behavior. I spent thousands of dollars here and got nothing I was promised. Now I have no thousands of dollars in credits that I will never use. They lie to make the sale, botch you, dodge accountability, and treat you like an inconvenience if you ask questions. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I never wanted to embarrass myself by sharing photos of my lips, but want to help anyone else who is considering going here. Save your time, money, and sanity -- go literally anywhere else.

I have a dark complexion and was fearful of burns, so I did a lot of research before settling on Ultimate Image. They use a Gentle YAG Pro-U machine and I've had no issues. After the very first appointment I didn't have any hair growth in the treated areas for over 5 weeks! Definitely worth the price to give razors a break. The office is pristine, and they are timely with appointments so if you're running late, you'll likely be rescheduled. I loved the woman who did my first appointment (Krysta!) but unfortunately I have been assigned to other technicians for each of my subsequent appointments. That's been the only downer, but everyone who has worked on me is competent. My laser experience has been great and my sis started getting services here also and raves about the hydra facials. My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!

I have been a longtime patient of Mr. Mark Godat and what I can best describe as his extended family of nurses and office employees who have always treated my self, as well as my spouse and children with steadfast, office-wide respect and courteousness unsurpassed. I have seen many young nurses come and go, but the one who is among the most senior and professionally capable and always compassionate toward ALL, is his nurse, Terry. If I ever had a need to hire a personal nurse to care for me or any member of my family, she would be at the top of the list. She posseses a wealth of information and has the most innate loving and caring sense of what a patient needs and always extends a sincere hand, ear and follows up with utmost detail and promptness. I have been dismayed to see one patient pinpoint a displeasurable experience regarding billing. As Terry is a nurse and does some office work, I feel, to be fair, I believe her thoroughness in categorizing a patient's health matters are a hallmark of the holistic view and care the entire staff at the Godat office deliver to serve the entire patient. Dr. Godat has been able to detect my need for additional professional expertise on umpteen issues over my child-bearing and now, post-menopausal years. I have never felt in my 23 years of being his patient -- while living in Texas and even, out of state, that any billing has been inappropriate, excessive and absolutely NEVER racked up for "the ability to bill for these things." It is my hope, that some day, Dr. Godat and his finest staff and beloved nurses will be able to serve my own daughters as they enter their child-bearing years. I feel that I can never fully repay Dr. Godat, Terry and many other staff professionals, for the highest quality of well-rounded, thorough attention, care and medical services they have always extended to me and my family. Dr. Godat was my Doctor for over 25 years and before him, his father. He delivered my one and only Son 25 years ago. I feel Dr. Godat is top notch in his field as you could not be in any better hands. I had a very difficult pregnancy and by all medical standards, should have died but with his extraordinary staff and collogues I made a full recovery. Dr. Godat has the best bedside manner and is soft spoken as I have never left is office feeling uneasy about anything. He always takes the time explain things and makes you feel like you are his only patient and he will always give you the information and treatment you need. He and his wife Jan are very spiritual and I have no doubts that all of his patients are equally important. Before doing any type of procedure he ALWAYS takes the necessary precautions needed insure your safety during any type of procedure especially if you are a high risk case. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good OB/GYN Doctor in the Dallas area. I moved to Austin and hated having to leave him as a Doctor as he took very good care of me for a very long time. As for his office staff, I have never had any problems with Terry as she has always been friendly and took the time to explain any question I had. Barbara his PA is wonderful and I assure you that any procedure Barbara does she is in very good communication with Dr. Godat. Rest assured that if anything is wrong with Lab work or testing you will hear from Dr. Godat personally by phone as he always communicates with his patients. 30 years!! I've been a patient with Dr. Godat for 30 years!! Why, do you ask? What makes him different than any other OB/Gyn on the planet? (And how can it be 30 years when I'm only 29???) Other than being brilliant as an OB/Gyn, Dr. Godat is professional when he has to be, caring at all times, ALWAYS going out of his way to find help for me outside of his expertise, treating me like I'm the only patient in the office, treating me like one of the family, and caring for my sisters and sisters-in-law like they are his family. He has been there for the few sad moments, the scary moments, the many happy moments, lots of funny moments and he will be there for those moments to come in the future. There isn't enough space for me to go on and on about him and his wonderful Staff including his Nurse Practitioner, Barbara, and Office Manager, Terri. Their qualities are just as admirable and lengthy as his and I love them too. So, that's the difference! You will not find a better doctor on the planet who will treat you with more respect and kindness than Dr. Mark Godat. It's a Happy 30th Anniversary with my favorite Doctor on the planet and I love him like he's my family!! read more

I've experienced a couple of very difficult situations over the last decade and they've always been extremely compassionate and caring, as well as quick to get me in and taken care of. They always take the time to make sure we're all on the same page with my needs and explaining results or options. I've seen my share of OBGYNs over the years and all over the country, and not one doctor or group compares to my great experiences here. I have seen Dr. Godat and Dr. Barbara since I was 18yrs old. He helped me through both my pregnancies where some infertility was needed. My oldest is turning 25yrs old next month and my 18yr old twins just graduated high school 8 days ago. I moved away from the Dallas area about 17yrs ago, and I still make the 1 1/2 hour drive every year for my annual. I couldn't imagine going to see any other doctors for my health care. This might be long, but it's hard to concisely express my appreciation for Dr. O'Connell! The…read moreTL;DR, though, is that he's a fantastic doctor regardless of specialty, but his care and compassion means even more when he is helping women deal with such personal and often dismissed pelvic conditions. If you have any concerns about him being a man and therefore not having personally experienced what you are, please don't let that stop you from seeing him! He has been far more empathetic and supportive than any female doctor I've seen in the past, never dismissing any of my symptoms or concerns and trusting that I know my body. I first saw him 9 years ago, after my regular gynecologist had done multiple ablation surgeries for my endometriosis and wasn't sure what to do next. Most OBGYNs are very limited in their endometriosis knowledge and my deep-infiltrating, stage 4 endometriosis was more complex than most can effectively treat. I found Dr. O'Connell through the Nancy's Nook Facebook group about 6 months after my gynecologist realized he couldn't help me any more. My husband and I left that first appointment absolutely blown away by Dr. O'Connell's compassion and dedication - I think he spent 2 hours with us that first time, ensuring all our questions were answered and giving us hope for the first time in a long time. As others said, he maybe late to your appointment, but I don't begrudge him that because I know how much time he is willing to give patients. I just never schedule anything else when I have an appointment with him so that I'm not rushed, in case he is running behind. I've had 2 surgeries with him, the last being 7 years ago, and he completely changed my life. I love that he is open to other modalities/treatments that are not mainstream but may help (like acupuncture/TCM, supplements, LDN). So many doctors think they have all the answers and dismiss anything they didn't learn in med school, and I've personally found those doctors to be less effective even if I'm not pursuing alternative treatments. They tend to not keep up on emerging research (because their egos/pride seem to keep them thinking they already know everything they need to know), but Dr. O'Connell is the opposite of that. It's that pursuit of knowledge that makes him such a good doctor and able to provide effective treatment. It took me more than 15 years of suffering to get a diagnosis and find Dr. O'Connell, and I've told so many women about Dr. O'Connell in hopes that they can find relief much sooner than I did. There's no cure for endometriosis and he doesn't promise one, but he will absolutely be in your corner helping you take back your life.

I've had some mental health issues for as long as I can remember, and during my last pregnancy I struggled with it a lot. Working with Dr. Thompson was completely different. She took my mental health into serious consideration and made sure I knew how important it was for me to take care of that as well as my physical health. She is also the reason why I started seeing a therapist; as she heavily recommended it at the beginning of the pregnancy and that on top of my medicine management made the whole experience so much healthier mentally than my first pregnancy. This is no review of the doctors but had to switch to a different clinic same hospital because I was too worried this DMV level service would splash over into care and communication elsewhere in their office. Specifically front desk person named Catherine - very rude and dismissive. Another person provided me wrong info and told me they don't schedule first ultrasounds until 10 weeks and called back and it's actually 8 weeks. After pushing a little more became 7 weeks. Don't tell them you needed help with fertility because then they'll just tell you that they won't see you and to callback later.

An unfortunate experience a lot of women have is their doctors not taking them seriously and dismissing their concerns, but Dr. Sigman has proven that she is not only willing to listen, but willing to go the extra step to ease your conscience.
