This is my go to hair salon, it's super close to where I live and honestly amazing and fast service, they accept walk ins and I've never had to wait. If you're looking for someone specific PLEASE ask for Phillis she has done my hair 2-3 times and has also trimmed it. My hair is not damaged, always turns out beautiful and is still growing tremendously (iykyk). I love me a good Dominican salon but there can be a lot of ups and downs, I can truly say I love it here and will continue to keep coming ! read more

I love this salon! I walked in with no appointment on a Saturday afternoon and I was able to get in and out in one hour! The shampoo lady massaged my scalp which felt heavenly! She washed, conditioned, and detangled in preparation for a blowout and that was the best five minutes of my day! MAGDALENA did my blowout and she is great! I've been burned (literally) at two other Dominican salons in Raleigh but MAGDALENA did not burn me. Not even once. I don't have very thick hair and I love how gentle she was with my hair. It looks beautiful. This is my new go-to salon! read more

I've been here before a few years ago and they did a good job. I needed something quick, so I literally just called to inquire about making an appointment and when I was trying to verify what the lady just told me, she began to yell at me. So I asked her "why are you yelling?" and she hung up on me. So, I will not be going back! You could improve on how you speak to people! read more

very bad service I was sitting more than 1hr waiting for a wash n blow out when i Left the next day it looks like I did not just spend to get my hair done I will not return read more

I bring my daughter here to ger her hair done. It is usually busy or very busy. Come early! There are no appointments. They do the blowout well. The wash, they are careful and attentive. She really enjoys coming here for her fashionista hair styling objectives. The employees greet you and are pleasant. The salon is clean. There is a private parking lot but as stated, it is busy here so you may not find parking. read more

I found this salon one Sunday after I had washed, blow dried & flat ironed my hair. I maintain my own hair as I am currently on a hair growth journey & trust my hair care to no one. However; I am unable to properly trim the ends on my own. I found this place last minute and was excited there was an opening. I had a pleasant experience the 1st time , I returned today. I was delighted to get in & out in a jiffy after having ends cleaned up. The employees are primarily Spanish speaking, though there was someone there to communicate my request. I'm happy. read more

Went to this salon this past weekend for a blowout. My blowout lasted for 1-2 days after the service. Very disappointed and won't be returning to this salon as I've had better experiences with other salons in the area. Maria did my hair and was very nice, however the owner of the salon seemed to have a rude disposition and was not very nice, friendly, or welcoming. Good customer service is as important as the service itself so I hope this improves. Unfortunately I can not recommend this salon for blowouts. read more

Not sure how long it has been going on but apparently they are using dish detergent to refill bottles oh shampoo. And then using them on customers hair, if you don't have money to purchase real products shut the whole salon down! read more

After doing some research, I've finally found a safe place to get a Dominican Blowout. They allow me to bring in my own products, as I'm really product conscious. There are so many products with terrible ingredients, I'm really picky. In fact I usually go in with my conditioner already applied. (I sleep in conditioner) I've been going to Maritza's for over a year and I only go to Tania. She doesn't burn me and while heat damage can't be avoided if you get Blow outs every two weeks, I feel like she's my best option. She straighten's the Bejeezus out of my natural hair. Haven't had a perm in 6 years. Tania is the truth. No complaints here! I even let her do my daughter's hair as well. read more

I gave this place several chances to do right but it seems they cant grasp the concept of actually caring for hair, they (Rhina) blows ya hair on the highest possible heat level and someone explain to me why would u slap edge control on freshly washed and roller setted hair? That makes zero sense, my hair is literally breaking as I type. Id give no stars if they allowed it. Im convinced they put relaxer in the shampoo because my naturally Curly hair has never been the same. Do yourself a favor stay away from these folks before you go BALD. read more

My second time coming last night , and although I waited longer than my first time IM OBSESSED WITH MY RESULTS! My hair is sooo healthy . Compared to the Africans , my hair has lots of body and not weighed down by oil and chemicals! They take pride in what they do. So the wait wasn't so bad. Also it lasted me a good length of time. I'm not natural, I have relaxed hair. But my hair is growing sooo much thanks to them! read more

The two stars is only because I really do like my hair but my experience at this salon was awful. It wasn't me having to detangle my own hair, or the up charge on my hair once I got there that was the issue. I can understand because I do have a lot of hair and it can be overwhelming. It was the fact that during my entire visit I was being talked about and mocked. Little to the knowledge of the stylists I could understand every single word they were saying. Entiendo más de lo q hablo. Which is why no dije nada. But I am extremely dissatisfied and I will not be back. read more

Omg! Que Belisima! My baby's hair came out AMAZING! The ladies are friendly and efficient they have a clear system that works and they get you in and out with flair!! I absolutely love the ladies at this salon. This was my first time trying this location and I was pleased overall. It is placed perfectly between home and work which is very convenient for me. When I got to the salon only one other patron was there which didn't affect my services. Everything was done in a timely manner, I was checked on regularly while under the dryer and I was asked did I like my hair at the end of the experience. I definitely will go back. read more

Buyer beware... Do not go here unless you want your hair not taken care of. This place was the worst from the beginning. First let me explain I am not from NC I come from up north where we have Dominican salons galore I am also a Afro Latina- and the moment I arrived I was greeted. I was asked what I would like to have done, I explained just a wash roller set and blow dry (normal right?) While the woman. Who was washing my hair washed it she detangled my hair with shampoo.. And was so rough. I told her she needs to use conditioner. And be more gentle. While she was detangling my hair the other hairdressers where talking shit about every single paying client in there and all of them where African American. They seemed they hate there jobs. Next she leaves me out waiting for someone to rollerset my hair. ThAts when I met Maritza. Who walks in sarcastically talking about why did we come to the salon at the time we did (mind you we were waiting to get our hair done) I respectfully answered in Spanish and told her if they could not do my hair they should of told us to leave. That did not stop her and the rest of the woman to keep talking about every single client there. To break it down . I love my hair too much to deal with someone who just wants money and talks so much smack and does not respect any of her clients and that goes for all women there . The young woman working there had what she thought was a funny story about each client. Def black racist Latinas you are dealing with that know how to fake a smile. No good professional products-I'm talking about Walmart products .if you like your hair mistreated keep going - me it just takes one time never again. Nd whatever restaurant she is opening I kept hearing about i won't go either read more

I had an appointment scheduled at 6pm and I arrived to the salon at 5:30pm so I would be on time. I waited until 6:15pm and then finally left. There were only two people working on 3-12-19 and there was one lady not doing anything, just sitting down on her phone. They knew I was waiting. I have had my hair done at this salon before (A LONG TIME AGO) and my hair came out looking really good, however, this is the not the first time I have had to wait and then leave. I was extremely frustrated and then the blond lady came out to my car as I was leaving and asked, "For me? For me?" She knew i was waiting for Maritza and that's what I told her. Do not go here unless you are prepared to wait for a long time! read more

OMG!!! This is THE WORST Dominican salon in Raleigh. THE WORST!!! I check this salon out only because a friend told me she had a great experience with them. First, the beautician working on my head nose kept running and she kept whipping her nose with the back of her hand. Second, she was talking so loud in my ear, I ended up with a headache. Third, I was there for a semi-color and roller-set. The color is all over my forehead and the side of my face. Fourth, the rollers I requested to be used in my hair, she and the other beautician stated NO they cant use the roller I requested on my hair. Fifth, I ask for a bang and she did the total opposite (NO BANG). I spent $45.00 on this terrible experience. A semi-color was $25.00. A wash and set $20.00. This salon does not deserve any stars. I give this salon -1 if I could. read more

This salon is okay Angie is good but the owner need to get a better shampoo tech she had my whole shirt wet yesterday and kept dropping the comb and rollers and re using them read more

This place is great. I came in and was serviced immediately. She washed my hair and it felt amazing she also deep conditioned my hair!!! Which I wasn't expecting. She was very gentle, I am natural and I could tell she genuinely cared about my hair. The detangle process was pain free!!! The blow drying and flat iron process were pain free as well. If you like your hair bone straight this is definitely the place to get your hair done. I will be coming back, maybe in a couple months, gotta watch out for heat damage lol read more

I love this place. I get Ketatin treatment with Maritza, my hair has grown, it is thick and healt now.I will recomend this Salon a 100%.

I have been going to Dominican salons my entire life, and while I don't expect to receive 5 star service or the perfect blowout when I try something new, there were too many things that made me unhappy to come back. Instead of wrapping my hair in rollers, they did these strange twists and put pins in them so when I came from out of the dryer my hair had dried weirdly and they had to use a ton of heat and force to brush the knots and weird pattern out. As a result, my roots were not straight when I left, even though I just got a perm 3 weeks ago so my hair was not difficult. They charge me $40 for a wash and set and tried to tell me that I received a deep condition when I had just had a normal condition sitting in the chair; when I asked what a normal condition is if mine was just sitting in the chair for 2 minutes (rather than go under heat or sit out for 10-15), they told me they don't do that. In what world? Because I am not Dominican, I don't look like I speak Spanish (even though I do), and I look young many salons feel like they can take advantage of me when I go somewhere. I'm used to that, and I don't make a point to review every salon that does. But this one is too much. Not again. read more

I was able to get an appointment as soon as I called. I was 5 minutes late but I did not have to wait long to get served. I was greeted immediately that I entered the salon. They were very conscientious that I was waiting. The shampooer and I had a language barrier but somehow she was able to understand what I wanted. I liked the leave in conditioner and conditioning they do with each wash. My stylist was very good. She was very careful not to burn he and my hair turned out perfectly. read more

Excellent Girls that do the best blow out in Raleigh. Authentically Dominican.

My entire experience was uncomfortable. The moment I get to the sink the shampoo lady sighs as if she didn't want to wash my hair because of how thick it is. I was going to get the $20 doobie wrap special but after the shampoo lady calls Marizah(the owner) over to the sink to basically translate(everyone speaks Spanish) to me that i have to get a blowout instead cause my hair won't be any good in rollers. [she was pretty loud & embarrassed me]. Then once its time to blowdry my hair out they spoke in their language & was trying to decide who would do my hair.( nobody was offering). So Marizah did my hair, & i literally stared at her do my hair the entire time. She made so many negative face expressions. So in other words if you have naturally thick hair, they wants no parts of you. I tipped her $7(which is low for me), would've gotten more if their attitude & customer service was better. However, my hair came out ok. read more
