Best ceviche EVER! We drive all the way from Anaheim Hills at least once a week for takeout. I go through withdrawals at least every 5-7 days. The price is right and serving size is perfect. I heard about this place from a friend. The family and I were craving sea food and decided to take a drive to mariscos mocorito. The floors are dirty. The seating is terrible. Overcrowded chairs and tables make it difficult to squeeze by and get in/out. As soon as we walked in the closest waitress shouted out for us to find a place to sit. Afterwards, she stopped by with menus, a side of tostadas and saltines. She took our drink order and good thing we placed our order because she didn't come back. My husband asked the bus boy for another drink. The waitress came back and said she had already closed out our ticket. The tacos de pescado were nothing special. Honestly, i'd rather go to rubios. Their taco plate is better quality and costs about the same. The tacos marlin were horrible. Smelled like burned tortilla and had a nasty taste. I took one bite and couldn't finish the rest. This was a poor choice of food. Sucks! We drove from Carson to Orange for bad food and poor customer service. I would not recommend this place. read more

I came here after an angels game on a Sunday & it was pretty packed but from what I hear, this place gets pretty busy on sundays regardless. The menu is limited to seafood only and although there are few plates/entrees/dishes, each one is phenomenal ! I tried the shrimp ceviche toastada, camarones enchilados, & the marlin tacos. All of them were amazing, cooked fresh & service was fast and efficient considering how busy this place gets. All of the staff here is extremely friendly and welcoming. Their ceviche and camarones cuchiles are very good. They give a lot of food for the price. However, be aware that on Fridays during Lent the place seems to be extra busy and you might have to wait a little while for a table. Also, when calling in phone orders it seems to be beneficial to have somebody who can speak Spanish to them. read more

And, they randomly decided that you can only drink a beer if you sit inside now (not on the patio), which is a new development despite being the opposite for as long as I remember? This was particularly frustrating as today I found a nice peaceful, private table right outside the door to enjoy some quiet and the nice weather. I have been here enough times now, to be completely dismayed with just about all of their offerings. The tacos just don't do anything for me. Just about every other battered fish taco I have had in my life taste better than these. I tried the oysters and scallops the other day and they did terrible things to my stomach, and I won't go into any details beyond that. What really drives me crazy, is that these guys finally start letting you pay with a credit card, but they will not offer the ability for you to tip their servers when you pay with a credit card. Visited this little place tucked away off Katella, which I never knew was there. So glad I found this little gem though! Excited to try the seafood items they had to offer. I went for the fish tacos and shrimp ceviche. The ceviche was so fresh and had great flavor, which mounded atop a tostada. The fish tacos were super crispy and hot with all the garnish and sauce...delicious! Best ceviche and fish tacos I have had outside of Mexico. They offer shrimp tacos and marlin tacos (which I tried, and did not like at all... we were told people either love it or hate it-matter of taste), seafood cocktails, etc. Everything is very fresh, a variety of hot sauces are offered, fresh limes, crackers and tostada shells at your table.
