    Chilaquiles rojos

I love that chilaquiles so far is the best molcajete salsa Was The Best For the chilaquiles. My boyfriend Love The red salsa he was very surprised that they were very delicious. He wasn't too sure about trying the new place but we both had a great time. Anna was her server and she was great Definitely recommend this place. I have an order. Moca had to go and some mojarra frita to go. Everything was amazing.

    Wet burrito

Found out about this place through some recommendations online! I was excited to come by, they close at midnight which isn't bad at all for Mexican restaurants, especially one that offers more than tacos, burritos, nachos, or asada fries. Even before walking in, the music and karaoke can be heard from outside the restaurant, so best believe inside is extremely loud! I didn't mind it, it felt as if I was at a family party. The DJ was great, with high energy and a good playlist. The food was great, it took a while because it's made to order. So it's fresh and hot! I ordered a green wet burrito with al pastor, it exceeded my expectations in flavor, I wish it was just a bit more drenched in the salsa. The salsa was bomb!! My friend ordered a torta de al pastor and that was also really good! The portions were filling. However I deducted a star because I felt like the service was a bit lackluster. Granted, we arrived an hour and a half before closing, but the place was practically packed! I'm not sure if it's because we didn't order any alcohol or real drinks, we only ordered water with our meals However, the server had a deadpan look on her face anytime she approached the table. Restaurant work is tough, I get it, and I don't expect a constant smile from ear to ear, but at least some emotion that signals that we are being understood and taken care of. I'd even say thank you but wouldn't hear anything in response. At one point we asked for more chips and salsa, and the server took the dishes away but didn't bring anything back. When my friend requested a refill on the water, our server never came to fill it up. Instead he asked another server for a refill... twice.. before he got that water. I only took 1 star because I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt. We came late, it was loud, and there was a large party being hosted which I'm sure used up their attention as well. If I ever return I hope that the service has a positive turn around because I really do want to try their other foods.

This is my third visit here, each time we come we have an even better time. Food and service are stellar here. Next time we will be sharing a molcajete and enjoying the karaoke. Waitresses here are lovely and treat us well, love it here!

The location entrance faces the street but there is a private parking lot in the back. From the moment we walked in we could hear the music playing over the TV screens that were showing different games. The staff sat us down immediately and provided us with a menu. The menu had a variety of meat and seafood items. Other than the appetizers the majority of the menu items were $15+. The drink options are beer, canned/bottled drinks, and agua Fresca. The wait time for the food was a bit long which made us fill up on the chips and drinks. When the food arrived the portion sizes were huge. Both of our meals had a high amount of salt which made the meals hard to eat. I had to use the table salsa to help with the saltiness of the food but it just didn't help. The chips were good but the salsa was on the watery side so it didn't carry any spice. I would say the place gave better service than the quality of the food.

    Chilaquiles with papas and eggs

Good vibe here. Music is a little loud for a Sunday morning. Had chilaquiles with eggs and potatoes. The potatoes had more peppers than potatoes. It was ok. Corn tortillas were homemade. Beans Delicious! Delicious cafe de Olla. Good Customer Service is good

The Molcajete is bomb.com enough for 3 people , only thing is they only give you 2 tortillas, should come with at least 3/4, we Hispanic lol come on now. Beer is always pretty warm. Service is good and it's a good place to sing if that's your thing .

The sope, after I cut it up. Delicious
    Janette M.

Service was great. I had a bean and cheese sope, al pastor taco and chocoflan to go. The sope was bigger than average. It tasted freshly made, thin and crispy. The al pastor taco was packed with meat and it was delicious. The chocoflan, I had one bite and than my son devoured it. Definitely recommend this place.

    Chicken Flautas $8.00
    Marlene C.

I ordered from Grubhub. They came up as a taco Tuesday deal. I ordered the $8.00 chicken Flautas, which is 4 rolled chicken tacos with lettuce, tomato, & crema. It didn't have guacamole, which I was surprised as most Flautas come with sour cream & guacamole. We also ordered the taco Tuesday $1.50 tacos. We got the 2 papas (potato) hard shell tacos as well as 2 carnitas & 1 al pastor. The papas tacos had lettuce, tomato, and crema. The other meat tacos had cilantro, onions, & nopal. Which was different for me. I've never had nopal on a taco & not a fan so I picked it off. The carnitas were juicy with flavor. The al pastor tacos had a lot of fat & wasn't what I expected. I did add the two green salsas they sent onto my tacos. It was mild. I'm not a fan of red salsa, so I didn't try the one they sent. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try them in person as my tacos were soggy from being in a container. Also they didn't send complimentary chips & salsa like most places do. So I took off a star for soggy tacos & no chips/salsa.

Wow!!! Camarones al mojo de ajo!! O camarones al aceite!!!!

He then claimed that it was my father's responsibility to contact InKind about this issue and that it was our problem??? No accountability at all from the manager. Grow up. The food is pretty good. Our waitress was also great. But there are major issues besides that.

The vibe here is always chill and low-key, which I appreciate--never too loud, just a good spot to actually enjoy your meal. We were seated right away (always a good start), and drinks came out almost immediately. Our server was ON IT the whole time--attentive, quick, and super friendly without hovering. Started with the calamari (non-negotiable at this point). It comes with Mae Ploy sweet chili and a roasted pepper aioli--both . Crispy, not greasy, and the portions are solid. For mains: Seared Yellowfin Salad -- super fresh, light, and flavorful. The citrus ginger dressing really brings it together. New England Lobster Roll -- buttery, packed with lobster, and comes with fries + slaw. No complaints here. Had to end it with dessert since we were celebrating--went with the bread pudding this time instead of my usual butter cake. Honestly... no regrets. Warm, soft, rich, with that Jack Daniel's sauce and vanilla bean ice cream melting over the top. Yeah... it's a problem King's is always in my rotation when I'm craving seafood. We stopped by on a Friday before noon, originally just planning to grab some frozen black cod. But while browsing the market, we spotted sea bream, which is much harder to come by, so we ended up picking up about 1.6 lbs ($35/lb). Haven't tried it yet, but will definitely update this review once we do. This review is actually for the bar seating area, which I believe operates as a separate restaurant under the same owner. You get to taste sushi made from the same fresh seafood being sold in the market. Of course I can't talk about the food without talking about the prices. They have a Happy Hour menu (the green one -- see photos), and when we went, they were also running a BOGO deal on several items and one being black cod $10 for 4 pieces. Such a steal. The slices were on the thinner side, but the quality was still amazing, especially for the price point. Fresh, clean flavors, and you can tell the fish is high quality. I totally wish we could've tried more items, but we had just eaten lunch beforehand. The employees and the owner, I think, was really friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Between the market and the bar, this place is a win. I'll definitely be coming back, both for the fresh fish selection and for a sit down.
