The best marlin tacos I've had. Perfectly season with just the right amount of spice, smokiness and with a slight char on the corn tortilla, so good. Everything else was ok, shrimp ceviche, fish tacos, their shrimp cocktail wasn't up to par and pricey. If you got picky kids, don't bring them unless they like dinosaur nuggets and fries for that is the only option offered. Service was great and friendly. Restaurant is clean and so were the restrooms. I was there yesterday sometimes the shrimp ceviche is too salty sometimes it needs more salt and pepper. this used to be the standard for other restaurants. It's not anymore. I was born and raised in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. My sweet husband knowing how much I miss mexican food, and in particular seafood (mariscos); brought me to this restaurant. It was the best!! I had a fish tostada and a marlin taco, I felt not only in Mexico but in my hometown! I can garantee this place is owned by a sinaloense and the menu is 100% authentic Sinaloa food. Holy Crap did this live up to the hype. Thanks to yelp I bookmarked this place and finally tried it. I want to start off with their hospitality, the staff here is super friendly. For being a first timer I felt like I have been coming for years. Everyone was so nice. But lets talk about the food, cause thats why we are here right? This place is killing it when it comes to real deal mariscos. My wife and I came and ordered the biggest michelada I have ever seen. I was on a ceviche kick so we grabbed one shrimp and one fish ceviche. Plus will all the talk about the marlin tacos we grabbed two of those also. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Ceviche tasted fresh and had a nice balance of flavor. Im glad I live close to this place. Price was great on the ceviche, it was $2.70 a tostada. The marlin tacos are done different, they grill the taco and load it up with all the fixings. The taste is perfect although next time I will do the taco with no cheese. There menu has a ton of stuff that looks great so I look forward to trying more stuff. I recommend asking them to top you ceviche off with a little octopus if you dig that. Our bill was only $25 bucks and we were pretty freaking stuffed. So glad I have a go to spot for ceviche that is only 5 minutes from my house. Stopped by here based off prior Yelp reviews and here is my take away: First, parking and seating were easy. We were told to choose anywhere we would like to sit and there were a few open tables. Second, the restaurant was quite loud and the tables were pretty close together so I would not recommended this for an intimate date,business meeting, or anything where conversation is the priority. Next, the food: We ordered the Marlin Tacos, oysters, and the botana de camaron, pulpo, y aguachile (cooked shrimp, raw shrimp, and octapus cooked in line cucumber, tomato, and onion, topped with avocado). The Marlin tacos came out within a few minutes and were absolutely delicious for 3.50- for 2! If you like fishy tasting food I would recommend these for you. The oysters came out second with limes and my girlfriend and I used and array of different hot sauces that would provided on the table (literally about 10 different sauce options). They were also very good for the price! Last our seafood plate came out. Although good, I wish we had stuck with the cheaper menu items such as the Marlin tacos because it was about the same quality not taste for about 10X as much. The tap water was tasted a little off but they did serve large glass bottles of coco cola to my enjoyment. Lastly the service: Our waitress spoke mostly Spanish but we were able to decipher what she was saying. It was fairly busy so we did not see much of her and had to walk to the cashier to pay the bill. The service was not bad but it was not great! Take away: Stick to the cheaper menu items! What an awesome hole in the wall. I came here on a Friday night because my fiancee was craving a ceviche and this place did not disappoint. I found it quite comical when I came in because we were the only non-Hispanic people in the restaurant, a great sign. We didn't feel uncomfortable or out of place in anyway but I now know what it feels like to be of another ethnicity and walk into a legit pho place, haha. The decor is really nothing special so if you're looking for a place for a nice date night, this place may not be it. But if you're looking for cheap, fresh seafood with some $7 michaladas, this is the spot. We only ordered some shrimp and fish tostadas as we weren't super hungry but man, they both really hit the spot. I found the shrimp to be the more interesting of the two. I'm sure you've been in that situation where your significant other suggests a spot she found on Yelp. The problem is when you've never heard of this place and walk in the door with skepticism. However, my skepticism was put to ease when we opened the door and Marisco Mocorito was packed to the brim. The restaurants name speaks for itself, and your in for a seafood treat. We went with the following food order: - Shrimp Ceviche tostada - Fish Tacos - Marlin Tacos The Ceviche was absolutely divine, perfectly seasoned with lime and salt. Paired with the plethora of hot sauces laced on the table you can add that extra kick. The fish tacos were equally amazing as the ceviches, battered and golden fried piece of fish topped with cabbage, cream, and pico de gallo. Add a squeeze of lime and you balance off the entire taco. The winner for me was the Marlin Taco, it came out toasted to a perfect crisp with melted cheese, succulent pieces of marlin, sautéed onions and bell peppers topped with the house salsa. I'm telling you guys, that first bite of the Marlin taco was an epiphany. Never have I had a taco that had so many different textures and bursts of flavor. The Marlin is cooked perfectly and not dry, and the other components just make it perfect. I'm interested in trying the octopus ceviche the next time around and the shrimp taco. read more

I had a doc appt nearby and needed a quick bite to eat so I yelped for places nearby and found this hole in the wall and even at 1:30p it was nearly packed. Everyone was eating the shrimp or seafood cocktail and every yelper mentioned the marlin tacos. There was only one size for the shrimp cocktail and it was huge and kinda pricey. $12.50 That was the only downside. I'm sure their rent is pretty low and there isn't that much in terms of upkeep. So I was kinda shocked by the price of the cocktails. I didn't have much time and I wasn't hungry enough to order the gigantic bowl of shrimp cocktail, so I settled for a marlin fish taco and a tostada with shrimp ceviche. The Marlin Taco was a bit pricey at $3.40 but the tostada was well priced at $2.70. Both were delicious. The Marlin Taco was so flavorful. It's hard to describe it because it's unlike any fish taco you've had. I didn't know what I was eating but it was tasty. I didn't enjoy the type of tortilla they used but it was ok. The flavors inside made up for it. As for the ceviche it was fresh and packed with flavor. I imagine the shrimp or seafood cocktail would be good. Half a dozen oysters were $8.50 but again, I was in a rush so I didn't order them. So I will definitely come back try the oysters and the shrimp cocktail. My only issue is that some items are a bit pricey and I wish they would offer smaller size cocktails so that I could order a variety instead of having to settle for just one item.
