This is your typical mariscos spot--loud music, lively vibe, and not exactly ideal for date-night conversation. They brought out chips and a super spicy salsa that my Mexican husband loved, but it was way too hot for me. He really enjoyed the aguachiles, but again, too spicy for my taste. I ordered the Siete Mares soup. It had a generous amount of seafood, but the broth tasted overwhelmingly salty--like a straight-up chicken bouillon cube. I ended up just picking out the seafood and leaving the rest. We're on the fence about coming back. It wasn't terrible, but with so many similar options nearby, we might try somewhere else next time.

Molcajete Frio was delicious. Small place but really good food. Definitely coming back.

Chips and salsa were great! The salsa was not too spicy definitely that homemade taste! I ordered caldo de siete mares and it was delicious! Highly recommended! I never leave reviews but I love to check them and this place is brand new and deserves more 5 star reviews! Sabrosisimo! Oh and it comes with 5 corn tortillas too! :)

This place is so good. You get a great serving size for a reasonable price. The only thing I would change or ask for, is for them to have a phone number to call in pick up orders, instead of having to go in and wait for an order.

    Shrimp and octopus cocktail.

Horrible service, they mixed my order and refused to give me my money back or the equivalent amount. I'm never coming back again.

We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.

Then I decided, let me browse seafood on maps and I seen this place, the menu had broil in the bags similar to the other two restaurants and since neither one of us had been here we decided to try it. Long story short now onto the real review of the place, parking is big, when I got to the place it didn't look like many cars. Which made me hope this place didn't disappoint; plus side was plenty of parking and no wait to sit. I got my booth while I waited for my friend I loved the interior it looked real clean and the decor was nice, the vibes were more calming and chill than rowdy(if you've been to angry crab or la crab shack you'll know what I mean). They have a huge bar with stools to sit at and booths. Now to the food, they had a broad menu seafood broil (the only reason I go to these places) and Asian like, such as sushi and other things to be honest I didn't pay attention, because I went for the seafood broil only and it's easy to order. I got head on shrimp, with house Cajun sauce, spicy, and added potatoes and sausage. It was so good!! If you like spicy it's perfect! It does have a kick, but good. When I got my bag the food was steaming I would take off a point on the sausage(don't get me wrong it was good! But when biting I would have to pull in order to break off I feel like it was the skin of the sausage being annoying) and they were thinly cut, but not worth taking a star off. The staff was friendly, I would return and I can't wait to bring my husband, let me add that the prices are great, they seemed cheaper than the other two places I mentioned above.

We ordered the spicy shrimp and sausage boil and could barely eat it. When the server asked how everything was, we told her it was not good. Her response? "Sorry, we have a new cook who's training." Seriously?! So you KNOW the cook isn't ready, serve customers bad food anyway, and still charge full price? No replacement, no discount, no attempt whatsoever to make it right. They simply did not care. Cute pond. Terrible food. Even worse customer service. Save your money and go somewhere else.

There were four of us and we still couldn't finish it all, so we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Service was quick and the staff were super friendly. It's a fairly large, clean space with a new bar in the middle. I went in when it basically opened for business for the day and was immediately greeted by a nice young lady that took my order. She was friendly and professional. I opted for the Combo 1 (1/2 lb each of Choice (Head on or off) shrimp, Mussels or clams and Crawfish), along with 1 piece each of corn on the cob, potato & sausage. The sauce choice was House Special Cajon which is a combo of all 3 Cajun styles and Spicy. I also opted to add in extra order of corn on the cob and sausage. I also order their Rose Pasta with includes seafood. Everything was prepared within about 15-20 minutes and packaged for carry out as requested. All the food was seasoned and prepared well. I highly recommend this place and will be back to try more.
