What bothered me most was not the dollar amount itself, but the fact that the receipt did not match what I requested. Customers should never have to worry about being charged for items they didn't order, and I would strongly encourage anyone visiting to carefully review their receipt before leaving. The day we went, the power to the building was out, so we ate in a cold room lit only by whatever gloomy light came in from outside. That didn't bother us, because things happen, and because the service was great anyway. I opted for the choriqueso style chilaquiles , bathed in a mix of gooey cheese and chorizo. You also have a choice of three different sauces (mild, medium, hot) eggs cooked to order, and beans. My food was delicious and flavorful, the medium heat was exactly that and I appreciated it. Eggs and beans were good too. They have a fridge with bottled drinks and a hot water container where you can make your own coffee. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and they even offered suggestions since it was my first time. The prices may be a little steep foot some, $45 for two people, but supporting local, delicious food is worth it! By the way, there is a $1 fee to use cards to pay, so bring cash or you also have the option to pay using Zelle. I will definitely be back soon.
