First time it was really good . Reminded me of home back in LA/ San Fernando Valley ! But my second visit was a completely different experience. The meat . Me and my family thought was old or recycled carne . Like it's been sitting out all day and they just reheated it then served it to us . So my opinion and observation is don't expect this place to be good each visit. To be honest the second visit has me scared to revisit. Best Taco Truck in Bako. Yes, I just went there. There are infinite amounts of taco trucks in and around town and I have tried a good amount of them and this stands out for two reasons. The food and value. I have been here a few times and everything I have got or tried is tasty. I have had the asada burrito, chicken mulita and al pastor taco. The asada burrito is by far my favorite as it chock full of meat. The beans and rice are almost an afterthought in their burritos because there is so much meat. Most places (trucks or restaurants) fill their burritos with the beans and rice as that is the cheapest element of a burrito. Not this place! I would say it is 80% beef and 20% B&R. Most importantly, this burrito or any other will only set you back $5! Yes, only $5 which beats any crap meal you can get at KFC, Carl's Jr, etc. The staff is friendly and the salsa bar is great. I am a green salsa fan and theirs does not disappoint. There is a seating area under a tent so you can eat there if you're not into eating in the car. I have even brought in a beer once to go with my dinner. The only knock on them is that it opens at 4pm so no lunch if you were planning that as you read this. read more

I've decided this is my go to taco spot in town. I've been here way more than I've checked in, partly because I come here a lot and don't want anyone to know and also because sometimes I just get so excited by the food that I forget about yelp! *gasp! I know, I know, how dare I?!? Sorry my fellow yelpers. Anyway by now I've tried just about every meat on the menu. My favorites are the tripas, Carne asada, buche, chorizo and Al pastor (not in any particular order). The al pastor tacos are some of the best I've ever had. The chorizo is bomb! Definitely grab some chorizo tacos you won't be disappointed. The Carne asada taste great in the mulitas, which is basically a small version of a quesadilla on corn tortillas. The mulitas and tacos are my favorite for sure. I've tried the Carne de lengua (tongue) but it didn't impress me. Also the Carne asada tacos I can't do. I have to get it in the mulitas only. I'm going to have to try their burritos next but I just know I won't be disappointed. read more

We happened to be driving by going to our usual taco spot , when my husband suggests we pull over & try this taco truck "Tacos Jalisco". I order just one, to try it out. After the first bite I fell in love ! These tacos are delicious ! My husband ate a variety of meats while I stuck to asada. We also ate the mulitas, which are quesadillas with corn tortilla with meat inside. All were very delicious ! Pretty cheap too, 1.25 per taco & 2$ for each milita. The funny thing about Tacos Jalisco is it is right across from another food truck which also specializes in Jalisco-style cuisine. I pit the two against each other, and Taco Jalisco came out on top with their al pastor game. The al pastor burrito had amazing color and freshly prepared ingredients. The truck is usually flocked with people, so it can get pretty messy outside. Service is slow, but it is worth it if you have the patience. read more

Tacos were mediocre. They were just that, taco truck tacos. Double tortilla, skimpy on the meats. And a buffet table with sandwich baggies to grab your own toppings. The salsas were all really good. The carne asada meat had good flavor, the pastor had good flavor. We thought the tripa was gross. It tasted different from here. Each taco was priced at $1.25. These tacos didn't blow us away! I agree with the previous rating, I don't normally do taco trucks but this little gem is the place to go for a good price and a delicious Al Pastor burrito, when we have a family gathering and a taco and burrito craving late nite from a taco truck, this is the cheapest and tastiest place to go for a fam of 20. Can't beat taste or price and I've never had to wait longer than 15 mins for our huge order. I highly recommend, never mind location, good food is good food. read more

I can't believe that this place had such good food I was very surprised at how short the wait was. The meat was good cooked right, down side by 8pm they were already out of chicken "what the" but they had all the other meats available so I always get asada even if this spot is on the side of the road they have seating behind the truck and covered which really doesn't matter I guess. Had a late night taco craving so tried out Tacos Jalisco. It was around 1:30 am. Sad to say they were just about out of everything which must mean everything must be pretty good. Was able to get their Tacos al pastor. The meat was very good and well seasoned. Their salsa verde was excellent.
